    Brown Sugar Boba Frappe

This frappe was so delicious. We came in placed our order and had a tasty delight within minutes. They have seating if you choose to sit and enjoy your beverage and they are very polite. However this is my first time here and looking forward to the next.

Not a bad spot... maybe I'll order something different next time; as the cold brew wasn't as strong as I anticipated or used to, as it seems watered down. The Rose Cream Foam was pretty amazing though. Nice and floral without being super strong. It was just enough to my liking. I think my next try will be one of the calamansi drinks as I love the sour flavor. Haha.

This is my second time back. Teapsy an Asian bubble teahouse is still overpriced with pretty average concoctions and flavours. I was here yesterday and found very little had changed in service and quality. I do not plan to return anytime soon.

Drinks were super good. The bubbles had the perfect chew! White peach green tea was very refreshing. Drinks were ordered and made in a timely manner. They were also celebrating an anniversary and we got to spin a wheel and got some extra stamps to redeem towards a free drink. Plenty of seating indoors, clean, and nicely decorated.

Service is very efficient and quick. Very clean inside. The wintermelon tea was a bit sweet, but still good.

Ordered delivery and had a great experience. The passionfruit green tea and peach hibiscus tea were both super tasty. Will try the Hong Kong coffee milk tea next time!

My friend recommended this tea place since it's freshly brew tea and doesn't use powder. This is a small takeout place. You order from a tablet. In a few minutes your drink is ready. I decided on a rose earl grey milk tea. The flavor is well balanced. I can't wait to order another drink when I stop by again.

We were excited to try this Boba spot based on review and honestly we were kind of disappointed... The Taro Tea was clunky and didn't give you that refreshing feel you expect, the Grapefruit Jasmin Green tea was ok but a bit more bitter and earthy than expected and the Passion Fruit Tea was actually pretty good, sweet. Had higher expectations based on prior review and the location.

Regular Iced Lavender Rose Milk Tea (~$5).

I have been craving boba for a while and since it's been so long since I've been back to Teapsy, I figured today was the day. I placed my order online and less than 10 minutes later, I headed over and my drink was already ready! I got the Regular Iced Lavender Rose Milk Tea (~$5). The regular size is 16 oz. I got it with less ice and 50% sugar. I absolutely love lavender and rose, so I knew this drink would be right up my alley! And I was right. The mix of these 2 floral flavors surprisingly went well together. The drink was creamy and the perfect amount of sweetness. I didn't change the milk option, but it's nice that you can do that at no additional cost! All in all, Teapsy is a solid spot to check out for all your boba needs! They have a unique menu and delicious drinks. You will not regret it.

I find some of the messages I get on yelp CREEPSY I get a bit disturbed and then I can't get to SLEEPSY Some Boba I throw out, but this one i wanna KEEPSY Because I love the menu and the products at TEAPSY When you taste the drinks here, angels will get WEEPSY There's other good Boba but the price is pretty STEEPSY I spent last night with your mother, but we didn't SLEEPSY Anyway, come and try the Bubble Tea at TEAPSY! WHAT Apparently, everybody in the club's getting Teapsy. This is one of the most unusual and Innovative menus of any place that I've gotten Bubble Tea in my whole life. It has a global feel, like your mother. The girl working here was a total angel. She hooked me up with a couple of very interesting drinks. She had a sarcastic New York attitude and I really liked it. I loved their drinks as well. The Filipino Lemon Tea is very interesting and tasty and unusual and not too sweet. Loved every sip. Their milk tea was also excellent. Very yummy and I'd love to try more things off of this excellent menu. Definitely a five-star bubble tea destination in Astoria. For innovation, decor, service, and products as well. So I hope my rhyming won't bore ya And I'm sorry I tried this before ya But if you want some Boba Your search is now over Come straight to Teapsy in Astoria!

They have so many enticing drink choices here, like their tres leche coffee milk tea, and a rum raisin milk tea! I was pretty stuffed from lunch so I chose a grapefruit yogurt drink, which I thought would be refreshing. The drink was refreshing but a tad too sour and watery for my liking. I also found the boba pearls to be too chewy in texture. I prefer them to be a lot softer. Maybe I just ordered the wrong drink and need to give Teapsy another chance.

There are some other restaurants nearby that will have boba on the menu but I consider that separate from a bubble tea shop whose main or only product is the tea. There is some minimal seating (bar stools) but it's largely a to-go place. The ambiance is clean lines, black walls, white tile etc. Patrons leave napkins/straw wrappers, things can be a bit sticky, and it doesn't seem like this is attended to all that quickly. And it's not like it's busy - every time I go in there it's empty of people. There are 2 self service kiosks to order at and thus you're not really greeted or acknowledged when you enter, which is mostly in line with the nyc norm. The tea itself I think is just okay. It is a bit pricey; everything will run you close to $8 before any substitutions or add-ins. They have some fun flavors like the raspberry hojicha. I do think that the standard bubble milk tea that they offer highlights that the tea itself isn't great quality - it's either oversteeped or just not great quality tea being used. Still, it's better than not having boba in the area.

The staff was very rude and basically said "what do you want?". Asked her a question about what something on the menu was and instead of answering it, she just said "don't matter. No more". Master Panda, thanks for participating in the Yelp Lunar New year Boba Crawl and being the first…read moreand last stop. The jasmine milk tea I sampled in the store first was a bit high in the milk to tea ratio, though I appreciated the chance to try this. The oolong tea flavor (can't recall if it was a citrus or passionfruit flavor) at the end was good--refreshing and light. The bubbles were a little on the sweeter side, with decent chewiness. I purchased a plum Americano first time and it was an innovative take on Asian flavors mixed with coffee. The fusion of traditional tart plum "soup" with coffee worked in an herbally way, kinda like a kombucha coffee. Based on this I think some of the other coffee items with citrus may be good to try here. The following comments are in the spirit of constructive feedback so I hope this will help you guys! I read online that the focus of the store is to provide fresh milk with their teas, specifically regular dairy milk. Though I think this is a stronger selling point probably in Asia, the interesting fact is that a fair number of people are lactose intolerant, (or will become so later in life). And with the trend away from cow's milk to more plant-based milks, I think it's a miss not to offer milk substitutes. The second point to work on is consistency in the menu, I'm not sure why the menu placed by the ordering counter contains a few different items than the menu on the screen on the wall, which is also slightly different from the menu shown in the digital kiosks (I didn't order from the kiosk but took a look at it). Maybe it's because this store is still tweaking the menu, though in this case it would be helpful to explain to customers. Yesterday I came by to redeem a coupon for a free drink, it was a generous offer and thanks for giving me another opportunity to try a drink! Choosing the Jasmine coconut tea with water chestnut bubbles, the flavor combo sounded interesting though didn't mesh that successfully in reality. The water chestnut bubbles provided a pop and little crunch which was unlike anything I've had before, with a light, almost imperceptible sweetness. Overall I felt the staff was kind--thanks for the rose with the drink and the panda takeaway bag during the initial boba crawl!

Ordering is digital. You place your order and pay at a self serve kiosk. The serving team behind the counter was working diligently to prepare all the drinks. I ordered the Coconut Mango Boom with sago. It was creamy, refreshing, and packed with sweet mango flavor. The tiny sago pearls add a nice chewy texture to the drink. The menu also offers a wide variety of drinks, including matcha, fruit teas such as grapefruit, guava, and even kale, as well as traditional Chinese teas like jasmine and longjing (aka dragon well). I would like to come back by and try some of those if I'm in the area.

We walked into a cozy space with a comfortable feel that makes it easy to settle in for a bit, and the atmosphere strikes a nice balance between modern and relaxed. The drinks themselves are the main draw and largely deliver. We ordered the Coconut Mango Boom, the standout on the menu, and it came loaded with a generous chunk of actual mango that made the whole thing feel more substantial than your average fruit tea. The Triple Matcha is another strong option for anyone looking for a matcha drink. Toppings were consistently chewy and the flavor balance across most of the lineup leans on the lighter, less sweet side, which works well for us. Where things get complicated is the wait. This location runs long on order times fairly regularly, and during busier stretches or when delivery orders are stacking up, a single drink can take thirty to forty minutes. The staff are generally efficient and straightforward, which suits the format, but the kitchen and barista workflow seems to struggle with volume in a way that other HeyTea locations do not. If you are already a HeyTea regular, the Long Island City location is a convenient option for the area, and the menu quality holds up to what the brand does elsewhere. Just plan accordingly on timing and you will leave happy. We would come back for the Coconut Mango Boom, but we would order ahead and build in a buffer before we need to be anywhere else.
