Not a bad spot... maybe I'll order something different next time; as the cold brew wasn't as strong as I anticipated or used to, as it seems watered down. The Rose Cream Foam was pretty amazing though. Nice and floral without being super strong. It was just enough to my liking. I think my next try will be one of the calamansi drinks as I love the sour flavor. Haha.
Drinks were super good. The bubbles had the perfect chew! White peach green tea was very refreshing. Drinks were ordered and made in a timely manner. They were also celebrating an anniversary and we got to spin a wheel and got some extra stamps to redeem towards a free drink. Plenty of seating indoors, clean, and nicely decorated.
My friend recommended this tea place since it's freshly brew tea and doesn't use powder. This is a small takeout place. You order from a tablet. In a few minutes your drink is ready. I decided on a rose earl grey milk tea. The flavor is well balanced. I can't wait to order another drink when I stop by again.
We were excited to try this Boba spot based on review and honestly we were kind of disappointed... The Taro Tea was clunky and didn't give you that refreshing feel you expect, the Grapefruit Jasmin Green tea was ok but a bit more bitter and earthy than expected and the Passion Fruit Tea was actually pretty good, sweet. Had higher expectations based on prior review and the location.
I have been craving boba for a while and since it's been so long since I've been back to Teapsy, I figured today was the day. I placed my order online and less than 10 minutes later, I headed over and my drink was already ready! I got the Regular Iced Lavender Rose Milk Tea (~$5). The regular size is 16 oz. I got it with less ice and 50% sugar. I absolutely love lavender and rose, so I knew this drink would be right up my alley! And I was right. The mix of these 2 floral flavors surprisingly went well together. The drink was creamy and the perfect amount of sweetness. I didn't change the milk option, but it's nice that you can do that at no additional cost! All in all, Teapsy is a solid spot to check out for all your boba needs! They have a unique menu and delicious drinks. You will not regret it.

She had a sarcastic New York attitude and I really liked it. I loved their drinks as well. The Filipino Lemon Tea is very interesting and tasty and unusual and not too sweet. Loved every sip. Their milk tea was also excellent. Very yummy and I'd love to try more things off of this excellent menu. Definitely a five-star bubble tea destination in Astoria. For innovation, decor, service, and products as well. So I hope my rhyming won't bore ya And I'm sorry I tried this before ya But if you want some Boba Your search is now over Come straight to Teapsy in Astoria!
They have so many enticing drink choices here, like their tres leche coffee milk tea, and a rum raisin milk tea! I was pretty stuffed from lunch so I chose a grapefruit yogurt drink, which I thought would be refreshing. The drink was refreshing but a tad too sour and watery for my liking. I also found the boba pearls to be too chewy in texture. I prefer them to be a lot softer. Maybe I just ordered the wrong drink and need to give Teapsy another chance.
Might be an off day but it was my first time and only experience here. The jasmine milk tea look so watery it was sadd but the yakult drink isnt bad the bubbles were good and the jelly was nice. Just sadd about the milk tea. we drank some before the photo and the staffs were nice and friendly the inside was spacious. read more
If you are up for some creative and fresh tea drinks, or craving for some sweet treats, the Teapsy can be a great choice. I have never seen stores that sell Ginsen infused tea before, along with other fun choices on their menu. For customers who have cash on them or have the Cash app, you will get extra discounts. As for ambiance, this is your typical boba tea kind of vibes place, and they do have quite a few seating options, not super tiny. read more
This frappe was so delicious. We came in placed our order and had a tasty delight within minutes. They have seating if you choose to sit and enjoy your beverage and they are very polite. However this is my first time here and looking forward to the next. read more

This is my second time back. Teapsy an Asian bubble teahouse is still overpriced with pretty average concoctions and flavours. I was here yesterday and found very little had changed in service and quality. I do not plan to return anytime soon. read more

Got the sakura rose milk tea and the lavender rose milk tea. I got minimal sugar and it wasn't too sweet unlike other boba places that are crazy sweet even with reduced sweetness. I can definitely taste the hint of sakura but my favorite has got to be the lavender rose milk tea. The lavender wasn't too overpowering but still noticeable. Boba isn't very sweet but has good texture. I'm a bigger fan of honey boba and a sweeter boba taste, but I can see how some people might just want the sweetness from their own drink. Staff is great and very friendly. Participated in their 3 year anniversary raffle and got a free drink. Seating is limited -- about 9 seats ( 3 x pairs and a counter of 3) Will definitely be back. The staff is pretty cool so I really, REALLY wanted to like this place but I couldn't. Really, I tried about 7 different bubble teas and they all were a no. I mean, it wasn't the worse so it gets 2 stars, but it's a gimmick tea spot. It wasn't meant to be good, but provided a photo op for our Astoria Instagrammers. (Lol that's a job now from what I overhear the poor staff have to listen to.) I will still randomly go in and grab something just to see if it has gotten better but it isn't worth it. Go down to Sunberi and get a bubble tea there. Basic, taste great and although the staff has changed (miss the originals owners), it's still pretty good! EDIT: Going to have to drop the review from 2 stars to 1. Seems the owner is a bit more of a tool then I remember. Posting his response here! Love The Teapsy! As there's not much options for bubble tea in Astoria and the neighboring neighborhoods that sell high quality boba other than Elmhurst/Woodside. They have a variety of flavors and different jelly options, including mango and strawberry jelly add-ons. Usually there isn't a big wait or a lot of people as it seems that bubble tea isn't that popular in Astoria. Service is on point and price range is decent for New York standards. Currently my favorite tea/drink spot in the neighborhood. Try their milk teas! Flushing standard approved! Credit card accepted. No bathroom. Small tables. Don't forget to collect your stamps for a free drink and fame in their binder of regulars! Drink up! read more
Teapsy definitely has a wide range of drinks, my favorite is the brown sugar bubble tea especially since you can get different tea bases with it! Usually brown sugar bubble tea places only offer a plain milk base so I love that there are many base tea choices. At this point, I come here every week to get a drink :) read more
customer service: Mask enforced. Fast order. If you want there specialty drinks then you would have to order before hand prior to coming. ambiance: No music. trendy interior. No outdoor dining. Take out only food: * Matcha latte w/ oat milk and tapioca: $6.43 for a 12 OZ. This place probably has the best tapioca. soft and squishy consistency, not hard. The matcha had a grainy texture. I added honey and more oat milk when i came home and it tasted good after. overall: Fast order without online ordering but will have 50 cent surcharge if ordering in store. Best tapioca thus far. Has an option of various milks. Have more options if you order online. Pretty good boba. I'll probably order from here again. read more
yum!! cute little bubble tea shop in astoria that has a bit of a unique twist with their "popular drinks from around the world" selection my friend got the brown sugar boba and i got the guava yogurt fruit tea, both of which came out fantastic. i was skeptical bc this was my first time trying that combo of fruit and milk but it was reaaaalllyyyy good!! the total came out to about $12 they also have a rewards program (card punching one) which i thought was a good incentive to keep going back to try their many flavors, a lot of which i haven't seen in lots of other bubble tea spots! i wish they had seating but that's just a personal preference. def worth trying out this spot!! read more

They are quite possibly the ONLY bubble tea place open in this area (Astoria/LIC) during the pandemic. They are open on weekends from 12-8. I ordered for pickup around 4 and the owner said they were starting to run low and could close earlier than 8. I usually order the Original Tres Leches milk tea or the HK milk tea. Consistent and delicious every time I get them! Their bubbles are also the right amount of chewiness. Depending on the day, sometimes I drop down to 50% sugar but it isn't overly sweet at the regular level either. I have also tried the rose milk tea and calamansi fruit juice but didn't find it to my liking. Original is best!! You can place an order on their online website and pickup in 10-15 minutes. You can also order for delivery using DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Grubhub. They have chairs inside to block customers from stepping all the way in and maintaining at least 6 feet. You let them know your name and they place it on the chairs/table for you to grab and go. Seamless and easy process as well as safe! Please support Teapsy! read more
Had to grab a quick drink so decided to try this place out. Love the set up, the back counter where the staff stands is legit six feet away from the front counter where you place your order and pay. The peach green tea was actually pretty good, it tasted better than it looks 7/10 read more
I appreciate Teapsy for taking social distancing seriously and protecting its employees from direct customer contact. You can walk in and order from a shortened menu w/ no customization options. Payment is done far away from where regular checkout was, through a chip reader. Thai milk tea w/ chewy tapioca balls hit the spot! read more
I was pretty disappointed here in terms of the flavor of my drink. I tried the lavender rose milk tea and I don't know why but i just couldn't taste those flavors... maybe it was the tres leches milk or something but some ingredient felt very pungent in an off putting way. I love the ambiance with the globe on the wall and I like the idea of having a global range of teas highlighting different countries and cultures but I don't think the tea itself spoke to me. read more
Tried their tres leches milk tea with grass jelly... had good tea flavour to it... you can definitely taste the fresh milk in the blend. Not a fan of the fresh milk, but would like to come back to try their non-milk items. read more

I go out of my way for this place, the staff is so friendly and it's the only place I've ever seen Brown Sugar Boba Frappe. I absolutely love this drink! I truly hope the don't get rid of it any time soon as it is a limited time drink. I have tried other drinks from them and they are also just as good. So it wouldn't stop me from coming back if they don't keep it. read more

Simple place that sells drinks(bubble tea) and a few selection of pantries. I saw some great reviews online as well as on Yelp but I would never come to a conclusion of a such disappointment. I got the Sakura Rose Milk tea with 25% sugar. That was the recommended drink on the menu. I mean it was quite expensive which was around $5 for a small similar to the price in Manhattan. It had really strong tea and rose flavor but a bit too milky. It was good until I felt a sandy feeling in my mouth. It was from the huge amount of undissolved sugar left on the bottom of the drink. Either the person that made it wasn't in the mood or the drink was made like this. Regardless, I don't think I will return to this shop after this experience since there are so many other bubble tea shops out there. If you are in Astoria, Tea and Milk will be much better. read more

The service was great, a very friendly man made my order, no complaints there. I ordered the tres leches tea with the bubbles and I wasn't impressed. Don't get me wrong, it tasted good for bubble tea, but there was no tres leches. Not even dos leches. It should be called a little bit of leche bubble tea. I'll be back but I think I'll stick to my favorite--Taro. (They have Apple Pay and you can pay with your card, but there's a $5 minimum so I was forced to order the large. It came out to $6.80. Pretty expensive for basic bubble tea.) read more
