OPEN 24 hours! This place has been the most amazing find in Astoria, Queens. Everything in Queens closes fairly early expect Artichoke Pizza and Orange Blossom. You can find truly whatever you need here, and everything here is health oriented. For example, yes they have Ben and Jerry's, but they also have a bunch of high protein, low calorie ice cream options. I have found many new, organic, healthy brands at this deli that I never would have heard of otherwise. Besides being a grocery store, at its core Orange Blossom is a deli so they do serve food, like sandwiches and freshly squeezed juices. However, even though this place is 24 hours the grill shuts down at a certain hour, I believe 11pm. Kim, the owner, is so kind and always willing to help. read more

The people are quite nice, and there is a pretty creative selection of tasteful and niche grocery items that I rarely see in the area. My main issue is that they mark-up every item by $2 - $4 -- even standard items you could get anywhere, including a few blocks away. They also mark-up the prices further over time for items that sell consistently. I do wish a normal bodega could have moved in a while back, as I've been walking to Key Foods and the other stores in the area for years in order to avoid the gouging. But, a ten minute walk is worth it -- saved me probably north of a thousand bucks over the years. Also, for those of you who have the unfortunate habit of smoking, they accept only cash for cigarettes in order to mark it as a grocery item and collect the tax for themselves. read more

First of all, they're always open. Second, they have all the basics you need. Third, all kinds of snacks - sweet and salty. Fourth, they've got drinks! How do they fit all that in a tight spot?! Have to drop off a star. I've been paying close attention while giving many chances over my past few visits....but I've had this issue with multiple staff members at all times of day or night: Ringing up higher prices. $0.25 here.....$0.50 there.....but it adds up quickly, and is just not quality business practice, especially when you're already priced so much higher than other area businesses. Also, more and more items don't have pricing stickers on them....or have general stickers on the shelving near them. Then, when you hit the register....they cost more than the proximity sticker...and they won't adjust the price. At this point - and only because the quality of their products has remained on par with higher price points - I really can only recommend using them if they carry a product you can't get elsewhere in the neighborhood....or you REALLY can't get it elsewhere. This place is a really cool store with a bunch of neat stuff, but oh my is it expensive. Prices have gradually gone up since they opened to the point where I look at some of the prices and wince. Key Food is only two blocks over and though you can't get everything there, you can easily save up to a dollar per item that they do have. Still, they do a bunch of organic stuff and they do carry things you won't see everywhere. The owners and staff are all polite and friendly and they make great smoothies. Shopping here regularly would drain my bank account but running in here on the way home can sometimes yield some tasty treats. read more

Owned by awesome owners. They have fresh and affordable ingredients when I forget things at Trader Joes's (mushrooms, Asian sauces (sriracha), etc.). I've tried several of their sandwiches and they do a great job. Their grocer items are definitely pricier due to the organic bodega label. However, this a good stop in for small treats. So happy to have a good bodega around me off the Astoria Blvd. stop that's clean and offer a great produce + snack selection (Pocky sticks, kale chips, nom nom nom). Def. stops me from making a bad late night Burger King decision ha. I just wished their receipts would label prices. I definitely got over charged for an item and couldn't get a refund back b/c the owners and workers don't speak much English. But either way, this is a nice addition in the nabe. Per other reviews...just really read your receipts here. I was given major attitude by a young man who was working and when I asked him to give me a list of the prices he wrongfully yelled at me. Their receipts just say: item, price, item, price. So if you buy more than 5 items you kind of have to really know your math and correlate the numbers/items yourself. A true hidden gem. When you walk past Orange Blossom, it looks like any other convenience shop on the outside but when you step in, it's packed full of organic goods, healthy snacks and Asian goods! There's fresh produce too! I strolled around the small crowded shop and picked up some snacks including kale chips and unsweetened ice tea. It ended up being quite expensive! Good thing is that they're open until late and have a large variety of stuff you might need! read more

Such a great addition to Astoria Blvd. I stop here regularly on the way from the train to pick up vegetables and fruit. The groceries are a bit pricey but not too bad considering mostly everything is organic. Juices and Smoothies are great and super affordable. This is my first review! Orange Blossom is a welcome addition to the neighborhood, and we're glad they set up shop where they did. Lots of great grab-and-go food (snacks, sweets, etc.), but also a lot of great/healthy ingredients for when you're running low on anything or need something last minute. They also tend to have fresher fruits and vegetables than some (but not all) other stores in the area, which is nice. read more
