The sales pressure was a red flag but against my better judgement , I did end up purchasing a chain and bracelet, totaling $3,200. The chain I purchased was 14k gold, weighing 17.2 g. Another jeweler had a 14k, 8.7 g chain for $1800. My chain alone was $2800. So as it turns out, the joke was on me because just a few days later I found out that he over charged me by more than a thousand dollars. When I called him with my concern, he told me that it was a final sale, - even though he made it clear that he was going to increase the price on the chain as soon as I left. I purchased Monday, wanted to return 4 days later and was told it wasn't an option. Complaints filed with Yelp and BBB. Charge dispute has also been initiated.
