Theres so much to say. This is by far the most unprofessional place I've been. Lack of knowledge, information and plain out rude. From the receptionist to the dentist. I do not recommend. The place is also tiny, dirty. A lady was breaking and tipping over a shelf in the waiting area. Smh I left and took my son to the childrens dental hospital in Brooklyn and the staff is helpful patient and kind. Nice spacious, clean and has toys for kids. Black Owned* Dental practice nestled in a residential area with two quiet dentists. There is a lack of customer service as you find yourself asking a decent amount of questions, and the wait can become tedious. As a neat freak the office can be a bit more organized but it's nothing that takes away from the overall experience. Campbell is reliable as he give you his cell number for emergencies and walks you through the healing process. Would recommend and would return. read more

This place is for the dogs. I took my 7 year old son here for an extraction and I chose to have my son put to sleep for the procedure. Upon administering the gas to my son, he began kicking his legs and moving around which the doctor said was common. The dentist told me to leave the room and close the door. When I requested to be present during the procedure, the dentist's response was "absolutely not!" He said it would take 5 minutes and I was to wait in the waiting area. This did not sit well with me. A few mins later, he called me back into the room. When I got there my son was hysterical and he had wet his pants. I will never come back here again in my life. Please take my warning read more

There is a male and female. Both are a little weird not overly friendly, pretty a matter of fact. Didn't really feel welcomed. I had to ask a lot of questions, they were not very direct in giving info. My husband got a root canal by the woman. We at first came in as an emergency on MLK day. Glad they were open. However, after being told they were going to do the extraction and then come back for the rest as she saw the time she retracted and asked if we wanted to come back another day. I explained, I just want my husband to get out of pain. Needless to say we left without getting any work done on that day. My husband went back for the root canal and was in a lot of pain. He didn't get put to sleep. She said he had to come back for a cap. She didn't explain that was another procedure and would cost another set of out of pocket expense. The following week we went back but this time to meet with the guy for a surgical tooth removal as it was growing sideways. They said maybe 5 minutes, worse case half hour. Well it took half an hour. There was no update on how things went. Nothing. He came out and because we were there before we knew to wait for pain meds but he didn't say anything as he sat to print out the documents. The lady sits in the front area on her phone most times. They each had an assistant. One seemed to be new as he kept asking the other person questions about insurance while he was prepping my husband for the tooth removal. The place is very small so you can see most of what's going on from the waiting area. I am very big on customer service that's why they got 3 stars. I felt we should have been more informed of what to expect a head of time. My husband came home in a lot of pain. I would return but be prepared to ask them to explain exactly what's going to happen, what is the next step, how to take care of it, how much pain will you be in, etc. Good luck! read more

This place is so unprofessional! They have two people that work in front and they don't know what they are doing. I had an appointment at 11am for my teeth to be pulled out. I got there at 10:45am and I was not call till 1:30pm just for paper work. The doctor didn't call me till 4pm and The doctor is so rude and unprofessional. The doctor didn't know how to say my name and instead of him to ask me how to say my name, he asked me "well what the hell is this"! This place is not a place I will recommend anyone to go. If you are ready to have your day wasted then by all means go there. This place has the worst customer service ever!! read more

I had a wisdom tooth extraction done on the 22nd. As someone who has never had any kind of dental work done I was extremely anxious. The procedure in it's entirety was painless, in fact I didn't even realize he took the tooth out until he said "all done". It's been four days since the extraction and I haven't experienced any pain what so ever. I think the staff was good and the surgeon was professional as well. While I hope I never have to get anything else extracted, if I do I will be coming back to this office. read more

My dentist referred me here to get my wisdom teeth examined; turns out they were all impacted and needed to be removed. I was nervous because I've been to a precious Dental office they refuse to do the procedure, and this would be my first surgery. The staff was nice and informative, the environment was modern & clean, and Dr. Fitzroy Campbell is knowledgeable & experienced. I was told by several of my friends and family members who have been going to Dr. Campbell for several years who assured me that he was one of the best doctors that they have ever been to. All four were taken out without any issues, and I didn't have much pain at all. I'm sure it's different for everyone, but my pain level was maybe a 2/10 - uncomfortable if anything. I think a lot of this has to do with the doctor who did the surgery. Thank you again! read more

I gave a two star bc the wait was horrible and the procedure was done in 5-8 mins.... I got to the place at 9:45 and they said it open at 10:00. I was the fourth person on the list didn't get call in till 3:00, basically my son starved the whole day. If I knew the wait was going to be long I would have feed him. upon my son going under I question my parenting at that moment bc I never heard of a child kicking and spazzing out when putting to sleep I had to hold and comfort my son. I was terrified. He woke up fine and happy but I don't know if that's normal for a child to kick and spaz... while being put to sleep. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I had a 10 AM appointment for a wisdom tooth extraction. At 3 PM, I was still at the office, still waiting to be seen. During my time, the dentist had friends and family visiting, all while people waited to be seen. I inquired about the wait for times and was told that I was next four times. I went to Dr Campbell on a referral from my sister and I was scared to death.. I never had any teeth pulled and I need all 4 wisdoms out ASAP ... Dr Campbell's office is so easy going the dental assistant which is a guy didn't get his name he's so polite and comforting and they both made me feel at ease .. I opted to be put to sleep since I was so scared and before I knew it I woke up and I was done, didn't feel a thing and it felt like it went by so fast ! UNPROFESSIONAL, unfriendly and down right nasty..Male staff member did not tell me all the correct info on the telephone and upon my arrival lying about what he said. The dentist took up for his staff member & looked at me in a very unprofessional stare, I asked the dr. why was he looking at me in such a way, which made me feel uncomfortable. He also talked at me & not to me. He administered the syringe into my gums & I was clearly able to see lots of the medicine coming out of the syringe. After 3 injections my gum never got numb, and he was clearly hurting me in all levels. I felt that he mistreated me, cuz I asked him about him about his male staff member incompetence. I abruptly removed myself from the office, as he purposely was rude & very unprofessional. Run and do not enter this establishment!!! read more

I give this office no rating. I have never been there nor will I ever go. I called this morning around 10:05 am today 10/6/18. I was referred by my dentists to take my 14 year old daughter there. She is in excruciating pain due to being in need of tooth extraction. The young man that picked up the phone explained to me I will have to give them 80 dollars for the visit, I was angered by the fact that he was way overpriced and taking advantage of sick clients. I told him I have my own X-rays from her dentist and he said so just pay 40. I said DC37 explained to us there is no co-pay. In any case I requested for the Surgeon to please call me. The male receptionist said he will not have him call me. Just another case of ripping people off in the urban neighborhoods. So very sad. Good news I just found another surgeon who charged no co-pay. Outstanding service! I received a same day appointment for three tooth extractions. The procedure took approximately 30 minutes but it felt like 10 minutes, I selected the option to be put to sleep and before I knew it everything was done. No pain during or after the procedure. Dr. Campbell and his staff were extremely professional and courteous. He provided great instructions and immediately sent my medication to the pharmacy. It was evident to me that Dr. Campbell and his staff really care about their patience. I highly recommend him. read more
