This has been my dentist since i was a newborn baby. Now that i am an adult i will be changing my dentist. It was convenient for my parents to bring my family here because it's in the neighborhood. The staff there is rude and stuck up. The old guy dentist, he is nice person but not a good dentist. He ignored my cavity for YEARS. My untreated cavity turned so bad i now developed nerve damage and im scared it's going to get infected soon, i don't want to lose my teeth. I can see the cavity with my bare eyeballs but the dentist says it's nothing. I also have medicaid which covers my visits, so im not sure why he ignores my cavity's that i keep telling him is hurting. Maybe if i was paying out of pocket he would have gave me better treatment. He also doesn't even do regular cleaning at every visit which is very strange. The wait is horrible, even if you have an appointment you will still wait NO JOKE 2-3, sometimes even 4 hours before you see the dentist, and when you do see the dentist, it's very rushed. Also if you call, they probably won't pick up, and if they do, they put you on hold before you can even speak, leave you on hold for an HOUR. I would not recommend at all. I went here once. Reading these reviews reminded me no to go back. I can deal with rude front desk staff or waiting hours if I get my teeth taken care of. I also have Medicaid. The elderly dentist was kind and maybe he was a good dentist at some point but he has tremors. He talked for a couple minutes and gave me a RX for mouthwash. My teeth were not cleaned and I had several cavities that he either ignored or didnt care because medicaid will pay. Maybe if I paid out of pocket, than they would work on my teeth. I did relate to the patients who used medicaid and were pushed in and out. That's exactly what happened to me. I haven't come here in years but Due to COVID they were able to fit me in quickly, my regular dentist had no appointments. Not the best place to go to. Always an awful experience.I remembered the reason I stopped coming here. The front desk staff are so rude. No manners in the way they respond to patients. Every time someone asked a question they answered rudely I don't know and I'm busy. Not once did they try to help anyone other than to register them. They're other ways ti answer politely. I think it's a legit question if someone's waited 2 hours to see how much longer the wait can be. She replied to another patient I don't know I can't ask I'm busy ! I work in healthcare you can ask, especially when it's been a long wait. Just her demeanor and attitude showed how unprofessional she was. I waited over an hour for my appointment. I will never go back to this place, Had an 11:30 appointment, Didn't get called till almost 1oclock. They put me in the chair and then I had to wait another half hour for the dentist come in. It's like Walmart in there, it's a lot of staff but they just stand in the hallway horsing around while the patients are sitting in the waiting room for hrs at a time. 0 stars. Very Inconvenient with inconsiderate people working at the office. Staffs has little to no knowledge about what they are doing. Instead of going over the insurance acceptance from the start, they will make an appointment and have you wait 2 weeks just to tell you a day before the appointment that your insurance isn't eligible with their office. Lord one day I went it & told the lady asked me what color rubber bands I wanted , I said burgundy! This lady looked me dead in my face & told me she doesn't know what color that is (keep in mind she had on a burgundy colored scrub) I couldn't believe her !!!! The lady who took the impression for my retainers didn't know what she was doing . They took long to get it right & my teeth started shifting real bad ! Eventually i got the right one & now my teeth are moving back together cool. because of the shifting that took place my retainers got shaved down multiple times & they broke (not my fault) I went there today the guy tell me I can only get a plastic one & If I wanted a new metal one I'll have to pay out of pocket .. roughly around 500$ extra! The first thing I'd like to address is the lack of professionalism with the front desk. I had an appointment for 11 AM, new patient, which I mentioned upon my arrival.. At 11:40 I asked the rude lady with the short curly hair, "if it's my first time here wouldn't it be most logical to fill out a new patient form?" She responds, 'oh yeah, just take that form there.' Not even making eye contact because whatever she had on her phone was more interesting. There's absolutely no point is making an appointment.. There were 11 different people who went ahead of me, mind you I'm the patient with the scheduled appointment. Another receptionist mentioned to another patient that the reason they were so busy was due to the large sum of walk in patients. I wasn't taken in to see the Dentist until 2:15PM. On another occasion I came to see the Dentist, just recently, I'll add it wasn't any different from the first visit. I came in to my appointment around 9:30 (I arrived 15 minutes prior) I wasn't seen for x-rays until 12:20 PM and I ended up walking out to not see the Dentist. There were people who walked in AFTER my arrival and they'd see the Dentist before me. I kindly told the receptionist (Hispanic individual with long black hair) I didn't want to be seen anymore and she scolds with an attitude, "you're the next patient anyways, what's your problem?" This office charged my insurance for services not rendered and on top of that they said they were in-network and they lied. I was billed over two hundred doctors and when I called to speak on the issue they were rude and not helpful at all so I contacted my insurance company and they stated that the doctor has to bill me as if they were in-network. Word of advice readers read over your claims any discrepancies contact your insurance company this is going on too much especially right now during the pandemic. I wish I could give them 0 stars. The customer service from the two receptionist are by far the worst I ever had to deal with. I truly couldn't understand why she was very rude and unprofessional with me over the phone when I asked about seeing the Dentist to relieve from a major toothache and to get a tooth extraction. Told her I have metro plus, she follows with "if you aren't assigned with us we can't help you."Told her I'm not but according to my insurance if it's an emergency which ever office contracted with healthPlex would be able to see me. She replies " well we don't take healthPlex" which is bold face lie because they're listed on the HealthPlex website. I ask if she can transfer me to someone else that's willing to listen and help me out, she puts me on hold for 5 Mins, came back to the phone and then ask for my insurance info and place me back on hold for a minute so and then another receptionist picks up. She then says if you aren't assigned to us you can't be seen." I said okay fine she obviously spoke with the first receptionist while I was on hold for 5 min. I asked if she is saying the information I'm getting from my insurance company is false or not, she can't answer that and just repeats what she said before. So okay I then asked how much it would be to see the dentist today. She claims she doesn't know. Which had me puzzled if your job is to know basic office information. I had to ask again just to make sure 2 more times she then says "it's $85 for the visit plus what ever else you want done during the visit." I then asked what about tooth extraction which is the main reason for me calling, she replies "oh well that Dr that does that isn't in today". Which I believe is another lie because from the start I mentioned that's what I wanted and now they just want me off the phone. I kindly ask for the names of both of the receptionist she got an even bigger attitude and mumble her name and she claims she doesn't know who the other receptionist was, when they're in the exact same office space. Really don't understand how a company has hired these two ladies as receptionist, it was around 9:30 AM and they gave me nothing but attitude and very poor customer service to a potential patient.one that was also willing to pay cash. Beyond horrible. This place is always super crowded with over an hour wait to be seen. I was in agony and couldn't get a walk in appointment. Receptionist was very nasty with me on the phone and told me to go to the emergency room. I had to wait two weeks for an extraction and then the manager tried to make me wait longer because she didn't realize my insurance approved the procedure. I was also approved for anesthesia but I didn't receive it because I came to my appointment unescorted but they charged the company for it anyway! Head dentist is very greedy man with poor bedside manner. They will only prescribe you Motrin which you can buy over the counter yourself so you basically don't get relief for serious pain. Office and bathroom are dirty. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I know some of the good reviews are fake because they mentioned getting root canals from Dr.Kassab. There are no root canals done in this office! He will refer you to someone he is in cahoots with who will charge you an arm and leg for the procedure. read more

Well, this office received 1 star because I couldn't give a Zero. So, the one star goes towards the nice appearance of the receptionist area and the clean bathroom. However, in my opinion, when you go through those doors to the dental room, it is filthy! That is beyond the point right now. The biggest issue is with the customer services. The people employed there from the receptionist to the manager, Indra S, does not know how to talk to people and if any, the good work done by the doctors are sabotaged by the people that work there. I was informed that a root Canal cost $600 if I pay out my pocket. I have dual insurance, Healthfirst Medicaid/ and GHI from my husband's Job. I requested that they send a referral to GHI and see if they approve. I was shocked that GHI was sent a pre-determination of almost $3000 for a root canal but my GHI only covers $1400 for a root canal. I know the dental office has to make their money, but I called the dental office to get more clarification whether I will have to pay any differences, as I was originally informed that the cost of the root canal would be $600. Indra didn't take the time or patience to hear my explanation, she got defensive and told me they have the right to bill the insurance any amount they want, to pay their office space. I informed her that, I told her, okay but I just wanted to know what the bill is as it pertains to me. Instead, she started raising her voice saying "Ma'am I don't know what you are talking about". I have tolerated nasty behaviors from the front desk but it doesn't make me less of a happy person that I am, but getting worst behavior from the Manager is just shameful. Bad Manager, bad workers equals bad business. Great manager, great workers, equal Great Business. OH, BY THE WAY, YOU SHOULD SEE HOW THE STAFF TALKS TO DR. IRYAMI, LIKE HE IS NOTHING! IF THEY CAN DO THIS TO A DENTIST, THEY CAN DO IT TO ANYONE AND GET AWAY WITH IT. I HAVE WITNESSED DR IRYAMI LOOKING CONFUSED WHEN ONE OF THE DENTAL ASSISTANCE RAISED HER VOICE AT HIM. OMG I don't know where to begin. Out of convenience, Ive been going to this ridiculous dentist for 2 years. I really only went like 3-4 times but every time I've had so many issues. The wait time is preposterous. I was on a tight schedule so I made an appointment 3 WEEKS in advance to get my filling replaced before my tooth gets infected. I had work and needed to be out of there quick. They made me wait 2 hours in the waiting room and before I even got xrayed I had to leave. THey promised that I can return at 9 am the next day when it is empty and I wouldnt have to wait. I come back and they make me wait 2 hours again and the dentist comes in. Then they tricked me into just cleaning my teeth for 2 min while I specifically asked to replace my filling. Now I have to go and get my filling replaced again and waste another 2 hours or more. Total 6 or so hours for a max 10 min procedure. Id rather rip my tooth out than let that incompetent 90 year old dentist go near my teeth. He put me out of commission and cut my gums up so bad I couldn't eat properly for a day or two after the cleaning. Just so ridiculous. I will take my business elsewhere. Give you a run around. The only nice person I encountered was the young lady that took my X-Rays. She was very nice and professional. I felt like I was talking to a friend. I hope she finds a better place to work. But then again they need people like her to bring a little sunshine down there in the sea of idiocy, incompetence, gossip and rudeness at Kings Dentistry. Ok... Let me start off by saying my mom is a lot to deal with. I came with because she was going to remove a tooth. She was 1st call up by the staff from inside the room BY HER CORRECT NAME. Staff then realize they call the wrong person. Can you say malpractice? How did I know this is because my mom was call again by the front desk this time in a condescending and rudely manor. Saying they didn't call my mom up. I look at them if they where retarded? And said they did too call her up!!! She got mad and started talking down to me. I let it go.... Waited patiently thereafter.
