OMG ... homeowners policy was on the chopping block because we live in Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone in Calaveras County. Alejandra and Andy went to work on our behalf to aquire California Fair Plan dwelling fire insurance. It took nearly 6 months to work out details and in the end premium was about $800 annual increase. We heard stories of $5000 increases and more.
