Five Below stores are fun. Love browsing all the toys, cute t-shirts, and candy. Over the years, we've found stocking stuffers and other little gifts for the grandkids. And my husband has a few classic tees. Plus it's a fast selection for new phone charger cords. We were nearby at the Aldi's and decided to stop in. I'd bought a brand of moisturizer at a different Five Below that I liked and was hoping to find again. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I was seeking. We got to view a lot of their Halloween decorations and costume additions, however. Oooh... scary stuff! We did wind up with some candy, however. Always something new to try.... read more

What's not to like about the Five Below stores? Yes, things are not $1 or $1.25 all over the store, but can still find some really good deals for usually less than $5. The size of the items (weight or volume) sometimes is larger than what you would find at a Dollar Tree or Dollar General, so if you know your unit price, you might be able to find some good deals. I got some Freeman products that sometimes are hard to find at Dollar Tree. Their health and beauty section is well stocked and the store is so bright and clean it's really a pleasure to shop here. read more

The first Five Below opened up in 2002 in Pennsylvania and there are now 700 stores in 33 states. The concept of the store is everything costs $5 or less. Their items are marketed to kids and teens. Expect to see a lot of nods to pop culture. If you have a child or teen in your life then you are probably well acquainted with this discount chain. Departments include seasonal decorations, tech, work out, play, and snacks. When my daughter was younger I would shop for inexpensive birthday party presents, stocking stuffers, and cheap room decor. Now I find myself popping in from time to time to pick up cute motivators for the kids I work with. This is a brand new Five Below on Wiles Road next to the Aldi's in the Royal Eagle Plaza. The grand opening is on September 30th. Today I came in for inexpensive Halloween decorations and novelty candy. They have some really cure Halloween themed T-shirts for only $5 and assorted treats and decorations. Since the seasonal department changes it is always fun to pop in here and see what is new, especially if you have kids in your life. read more

I've only been to one other 5 Below once, other than that this is my only other experience. I like the place a lot. I'm going to start with the confusing part and then move to the good. I just can't find a reason to specifically come here. If you need a gallon of milk or food you already have some stores in mind, if you need clothes or toys you have your preferred spots. It's a high end low price dollar store, but without any spotlight in a specific area. But there's something neat about it. It's not a garage sale, there's no haggling or used stuff or obsolete stuff, but it's somewhere in between that and modern. It's someone accidentally ordered too much of a product, and this is where they send the random overstock. Nothing wrong with that though becuase it's interesting and reasonably priced. That said the randomness is interesting and goes from one end of the spectrum to the other. From a kids hat to a dog gravity-fed water bowl, neck pillows, computer keyboards and headsets, to bug-catching nets. Extremely "SUS" but funny snacks like hot dog gummies (candy? but looks like a hot dog) and lunchables, that look legit like lunchables, but every sort-box of processed food is gummies instead of actual kid-lunches. It's not distusting, it's bizarre. I wouldn't buy it but I somehow enjoyed seeing it for sale. Similar to Aldi, and the new trend of discount stores, there's only a couple of workers. I think I saw 2, but only can 100% remember seeing 1. Kind of a shame that they can't create more jobs but cutting costs exists, and the 1 girl I do remember seeing was super nice. Self-checkout was easy, and I'll likely stop in again, I'm not not sure why i'd purposely go though but I'm sure I'll enjoy it again. read more

I just had the best experience at this location. The employees, Ron and Savannah, were so helpful, in such great spirits, and seemed eager to work and help customers. They worked well with each other, I could hear their conversations and they were so nice to each other and respectful. They were also so eager to help me with checkout since I was using Apple Pay. This location is out of the way for me l, but I will be coming back to this one because of this experience. Thank you! read more

Went on September 4, 2023 in the afternoon. This store is not like all of the other five belies. This one seemed more unorganized. The cashier (lack there of) was kinda rude. Only one check out machine working and a line of people waiting. He is just standing there behind the counter telling everyone to use the check out machine. Most five belies have a section of toys for girls but today didn't seem like it was there. Everything was blended within each other. Candy was all over the place. Even hearing other customers kinda lost in this store today. read more

So I went to five and below with my dad and we did not appreciate how tray treated us We were blowing bubbles in the store and this ladie comes and tells us to stop Then we went to check out and she said my dad kicked her with the ball but he did not this ladie pull the reverse Karen on us and it was not nice so We just wanna say it was not a good service I do not sudgest shopping there unless you want bad service and a messy store right in front of you read more
