By far one of the best locations I've been to. The store in general has a lot of items and they were well organized and it was clean. We were greeted when we walked in and the cashiers were also friendly. This store is a kids dream. I took my niece to different places and she commented that Five Below is by far her number one place. I have a couple of cats that are incessant chewers. I can't tell you how many cords and wires that I've been through over the years. (Kids, this is why we can't have nice stuff!) For years I would go down to Big Lots for cords and wire stuff replacements but lately its been Five Below. USB cords and headphone stuff for $5.00....you can't beat it and when my cat Olivia through them in a week, I won't be crying for Argentina..Thanks Five Below. Stopped by today to look for the cleaning gel that was listed on their website for $3.00. I searched around the store and could not locate it. I went up to the front to ask for help in locating and this is the conversation. Me: Hello. Could you help me with where the cleaning gel would be located? It's like slime but it's cleaning gel in a can. Cashier: Ummm. Looks around, then tells me she'll help me look for it after she rings up the customer who was BEHIND me. I ask her Can she direct me to where to look and she said she doesn't know, somewhere in the back. So I step to the side to wait. Soon as she finishes, she looks me dead in my eye and decides to perform the next transaction. So I walk back up and she tells me to go find someone else in the store to help me. Me: Can you call the person up front? Cashier: No. Me: No what? You can't call them up here to help me? Cashier: No. I decided to leave but asked her name. She claimed Savannah. She's got brown slightly curly hair and glasses. This was UNACCEPTABLE customer service! Help is hard to find but do better in training who you hire! I was profiled at this store. I am looking for picnic items. I found 1 item, but was not going to purchase it unless I was buying something else. I found 2 t-shirts, looked through the rest of the store and circled back to the front for the item I wanted to purchase. As I'm looking at the item - in which none of them could fit in my purse or be concealed on my person - I noticed this worker walk quickly over. When I turned, he damn near ran away. I look at a different style of the product I originally wanted, and I look over to see him watching me from the next isle! So, I called him out, in which he denied watching me. In the end, I threw the items to the floor and walked out! This young white boy thought I was going to steal two $5.55 shirts (which were thrown over my shoulder) and a $5 pillow! The value of the merchandise he is willing to save I'm sure is less than the hourly wage he earns! The way ppl are wired in today's world, could cost him more than the cheap made in China merchandise the store sells. Five Below should teach there white staff how to spot possible theft. And ppl like this worker should find Jesus so He can give you the gift of discernment and teach you that ALL BLACK PPL DO NOT STEAL! This racial profiling is getting old and intolerable! read more

Five below is different than other dollar stores. The employees actually reach out to help you if you appear lost. It's also a great place to buy children gifts when you're on a tight budget. Most items are below $5 not including tax. I was able to quickly grab a book, a journal, and a card game for my 10 year old. I was stumped on the final gift item. A store employee noticed I looked lost and she helped me pick out my final item. That item ended up being a hit with my son. He loves it. If they still have them in stock, check out the Heli ball. It's like a helicopter that's attached to a ball. It flies up and down and when the ball hits the ground, it changes direction. Lots of fun for my son and me , Lol. read more

I always like going to FIVE BELOW even though I don't always get out here as often. My son and I came out today looking for a cover for our phones, but they Only had covers for I phones and Galaxy phones. How unfair.... I'll sum this one up in a few words - glorified dollar store. But oh how I love it! First off, everything in the store is under $5. Sounds kinda crappy, right? But it's not! You can get just about anything here, and for the most part is all good quality. T-shirts (with and without funny graphics), scarves, shoes, school supplies, phone cases and chargers, Snuggies, blankets, coffee cups and water bottles, Atlanta Braves/Falcons/UGA merch, books, crayons, candy, art supplies, nail polish....you name it, they've probably got it! With such a colorful and inviting interior, great prices, and wide range of items, it's the perfect place for last-minute stocking stuffers, inexpensive shopping trip for the kids, or just to grab a few things to spoil and pamper yourself without breaking the bank. Of course, as would be expected from a discount shop, the quality of the items is what you pay for. It's usually hit or miss, depending on what you get. Love this place! I have long, nicely colored cables for charging my cell phone. When people see me using one to charge my phone at Starbuck's, for example, they ask where I bought it. I have bought several from this store, including one that plugs into the electrical outlet in the car. The sweetest thing about this is the pricing. The cables themselves come in 3, 5 and 10 foot lengths. I've seen colors in white, black, rose gold, turquoise blue and fuschia pink. You just need to buy the separate AC power piece that fits into the wall electrical outlet itself. So at $5 per package, it costs you $10 total. This is so affordable until I have several sets. I keep one set at home, another in the car and a final one in the laptop bag that I take to work. Of course this store has a lot of other stuff at $5 and less. Love the place! The reasoning behind two stars is because i don't have the heart to give one. I adore this store, i always shop here for my little niece and nephews presents when a birthday or Holliday comes around, but the experience i had tonight (11/21/2017 at 7:18pm to be exact) was just dreadful. I gave that exact time so maybe if someone who works there who actually cares about customer service will look further into this and see who was working the register at that time. She didn't give me her name nor had on a tag but i have never received such horrible customer service. My total was $34.01 and i have her a hundred dollar bill with a penny so i wouldn't have to get any change back (with 3 people waiting behind me) she huffs loudly and scolds me "i really have to give you 99 pennies" and i said very politely "no ma'am, i set the penny on top of the bill" as she stands there for a minute starring at me and the guy behind me then looks to the floor and says "oh here it is" continues to roll her eyes throw the penny in the cash register and give me the wrong change being okay with it. I will not be shopping at this one any longer. I'll have to go out of my way to go to Hiram. read more

I've shopped this Kennesaw location many times and had a pleasant experience but this time I literally walked out. I went through the check out queue as instructed, was the only one in line, and was waiting for the cashier to call me over when someone else just walked straight up to the register. The cashier greeted them and began helping that customer. At first I thought that maybe the cashier didn't see me there since the other customer walked up right after I had gotten to the front of the queue but then after helping that customer the cashier continued to help the three other customers who had formed in a line behind her. Not sure why the cashier wouldn't have instructed those other customers to wait in the appropriate designated line or at the very least told them she would be with them shortly, that I was waiting first. I'm not into causing a scene because at this point the damage was done. Needless to say I put my stuff down and walked out. As someone who works customer service this is NOT IT. read more
