Okay, everything that everyone has said about this place is true. it is weird, creepy, cramped, and a little gross. The proprietors of the shop are a family of Indian people that seem to live there, but they seemed nice. A younger girl was watching TV in the entrance way, and I pretty much felt like I was wandering into someone's house... So that was weird. To be perfectly frank, if an older gentleman with a stache and worn jeans worked here alone, and he was staring into space with a creepy smile on his face, I probably would have just walked right out. You get the sense that at any moment, someone could murder you from behind the many randomly stacked objects. My heart was actually beating a little quicker than normal. Take what you will from that. I also read a pretty accurate review through Google Maps, which described this place as something like a hoarder's dream. This is no exaggeration. It's like a house, with an entrance way, and rooms covered in carpet and a lot of the rooms have doors propped open, and signs to direct you to other areas of the house. There's TONS of stuff here, and I could see how that in itself would turn someone off. It's not the traditional.. Well, anything. It's not like any other thrift shop you're likely to ever visit, and it is definitely an experience. So I'd say-- take a chance and come here, there's so many things, you're bound to find something you like. The 4 stars is as much for novelty as anything else. You really will probably never see another thrift store like this ever... And perhaps that's not such a bad thing. In the knickknack department, there was almost too many things to even look at. There are copper cups which were about $20 (boasting to be over 100 years old on a label), there were cute tea cups each for $8, complete with saucers from around the 1950s (the bottom was stamped "Made in Occupied Japan"),and what I finally settled on, which was a set of 6 Japanese tea cups that were about $12 that were decorated with Japanese characters and brightly painted. A bit pricey, but I've gotten similar teacups (taller and thinner, made in Japan and a set of 4) for about $6 at Goodwill before. So each one was about $2. There's also a lot of tables and chairs, a room full of toddler things (though I'm not sure I'd ever give my kid anything from there), a room full of (mostly outdated, though cheap) clothes, books, and some outdated phones and other outdated technology that was still interesting to look at. I'd go back again, if nothing else for the unusual and unique experience. Oh, and I've decided to bring everyone who visits me back to this place because... I like dirty/creepy/weird places. This place was all three. As a place to go to scare people out of their hoarding tendencies, this should be at the top of any list. To go here to buy things, it should be near the bottom of the list. Everything was dirty, overpriced and uninteresting. Lamps, mildewed books, kitchenware, clothes - all overpriced and boring. The creepiness and weirdness came from the dungeon-like atmosphere of the place. Go back far enough and there are rooms that are so cramped and removed from the outside that you feel that a goblin or giant rat could jump out and battle you for the moldy raincoat on the rack next to you. read more

I rarely tell people to avoid shops even if I don't care for them because you never know what you might find. BUT this place is beyond creepy. There are no windows and it trails further back than you would expect giving you the feeling of being in deep dark cave. I was waiting for critters to dart across the floor- Yuck. Stuff is just stacked everywhere to the point of overwhelming. It was stinky (probably the old shag carpet- I shudder to imagine the history there), dirty and the prices were really high. read more

This place should be better organized, like I feel as if I'm in a hoarders house when I step inside. Upkeep of the building Needs to be brushed up. However I know the people who run this shop, they're pretty nice. And I found an antique fan worth about $170 there for about a tenth of that price. Overall I'd recommend this place read more

This place is gross. I picked up a few items that had mouse pee on them. I am surprised they are still in business.

The place seems a bit chaotic at first, but there is an interesting mix of merchandise. Vintage household goods and antiques are jumbled together without rhyme or reason. Prices are reasonable. The owners are incredibly kind and very attentive: superlative customer service. Don't go if you are expecting a sparkling clean store with wide aisles and well-organized goods: go for adventure, the thrill of the hunt and the pleasure of meeting the owners. read more

I visited this store yesterday. The Indian lady behind the counter was very nosey. She kept talking to me and asking me personal questions. She asked me how old was I and did I have kids. Then she said, "let me turn the light on so I can see your face". She was staring in my face and made me uncomfortable by asking customers personal questions and making statements. That was really rude. Seemed as if she would know better than to be so casual and unprofessional whether if she is the owner and it is a thrift store, or not. It doesn't pay to be so nosey. read more

This place really is disgusting! I was very dissapointed when I went in there. I thought for a second they might be hoarders. The place is cluttered with junk!!! Yes JUNK!!!! The prices are so high and I am pretty sure the stuff they got are donated stuff. So, for them to price it so high is GREEDY!!! If you are to choose between Goodwill or this place, just go to goodwill atleast at Goodwill everything is in order the place is clean. The clothes in this place are just laying everywhere on the floor. The place is so dark. The carpet is so NASTY! This place is awesome but you need to be able to get over the clutter and dust bunnies. For the hardcore thrifter, it's a treasure trove! My MIL and I had so much fun looking past the junk to the "jewels" that lay beneath! I found 4 pottery barn kitchen chairs there in great shape for a great deal... Under 100 bucks and anyone that loves PB knows what a deal that is. If you can't get past the mess, clutter, and junk, you won't see the stock of antiques and vintage finds that abound! Loved it...
