As an avid tea drinker, I also love seeing some options for my beverage of choice! I ultimately went with the rose geranium hand soap since I'm a fan of florals, and it's serving me well so far. Unlike cheap brands that don't fully clean or even name brands full of forever chemicals, BYO's hand soaps clean without stripping your skin of its natural oils. The consistency is comparable to SimpleHuman's gel soap for their automated dispensers. Will plan on returning for a refill when I once again run out!

On my first couple of visits I requested the lead vest to stay on after X-rays because the weight feels reassuring (im autistic), and by my third visit they provided a weighted blanket for all my visits. I have trouble with interoception and don't always know right away how to describe discomfort or pain so they check in with me regularly during and after my visits to make sure I'm ok. This level of caring is absolutely top-notch. I highly recommend Dr David and his staff to anyone who needs a little extra care.

Renee, the owner, was very helpful and gave me a warm welcome when I arrived. She told me she didn't carry African net sponges as they contain plastic and are not good to use for your body, so she suggested the agave wash cloth instead. I took my time to look around the shop too and there were so many goods that I got a bit overwhelmed so I'll have to come back to peruse those more sometime :) Renee was very friendly, kind, helpful, and awesome. Her energy is warm but strong like a fire. She took the time to talk to me about her shop that she's had for over 30 years now, asked me for my name, and hoped that she'd see me again -- which she definitely will be! Lots of books, tote bags, bracelets, incense, hair products, and much more. She told me she tries to host events for the community too, apparently I just missed a sound bath that they hosted this past weekend. This has to be one of the worst Ulta locations I have ever visited. No one seemed to have a sense…read moreof urgency or understand the importance of providing good customer service. It felt like most of the employees were more interested in standing around talking to each other than helping customers. I honestly felt like only one employee was actually working and ringing up customers while everyone else was standing around doing who knows what. It also took an unusually long time for someone to bring over a key so I could look at a cologne I was interested in purchasing. With so many employees on the sales floor, you're telling me not one person could step in and grab a key for the associate helping me? To make matters worse, there was a line of customers waiting to check out, yet only one cashier was working the register the same employee who was also waiting for someone to bring her the key. No one else seemed willing to step in and help, which made the wait even more frustrating. This team definitely needs better training and much stronger customer service skills. I was extremely disappointed with my experience and ended up leaving without buying anything, even though I had planned to purchase several items. To make matters worse, the store didn't even have any cologne testers available, making it impossible to try the fragrances before buying. I've been a loyal Ulta customer for years and spend a significant amount of money there, but this is by far the worst Ulta location I've ever visited. I would not recommend this store to anyone. Save yourself the time and visit another location where customers are treated with respect and where employees understand the importance of providing quality customer service.

The reason why - and I have to point this out because the store is named Rooted - is most of the neon pothos did not look too healthy aside from one plant in a 6" pot (larger than what I was looking for). In fact, many of the plants were rather middling, with soil looking dry when most inventory are tropical houseplants. Was it the heat at the time I visited or negligence? I'm not sure, but even with seemingly fair prices as plant shops go (4" philodendron Brazil was $12), it's harder to buy a plant that looks sickly. In addition to plants, Rooted also carries housewares and refills for shampoo, body wash, etc. I can't speak to the prices because I have a similar store within walking distance that I typically bring my dispensers to.

I wasn't sure if she was new or if there was some hesitation in trusting the information I provided. She said she was "just trying to make sure it was right," but it felt unnecessary and a bit uncomfortable. It might make more sense for staff to weigh items themselves to avoid situations like this. Overall, it's a pleasant store, but the inconsistent availability and that checkout experience make me unsure if I'll return.
