Closest Five Below location for me. Very easy to get to in the Union Square vicinity. Went in to look for some last minute gifts. There is a wide selection for good prices. Not everything is $5, some things are more or less. Variety of items include toys, candy, skincare, clothing, etc. There was a bit of staff around welcoming customers and restocking. I bought some snacks and a mini knit kit. Spent less then $10. There are so many cute items in here that it is easy to keep adding to your cart. Recommend for gifts, travel, and if looking for decently priced items.

Hoarders heaven station! Never been to this place until few days ago when I decided to check out the $5 deals that they have. Cannot believe what I was missing by not knowing about this place earlier. I'm not sure if it's me for knowing about this place very late and don't know what I was missing out. So many household and personal necessity you can buy at $5 or below! Shopaholics should be aware of this place though because it can ruin their wallets if they step inside the store. What caught my eye was the $5 exercise equipment. Bought a pair of 8lb weights, about cruncher, and inner thigh workout tool for me to lose my stubborn belly fat. They have pink and black equipment and I got myself the pink equipment. Saw a lot of amazing deals but didn't bother going further into the store for fear of losing more money. This store both has self check out and in person cashier register if you need more assistance. There is also a security guard checking you out after you pay. He is required to check your receipt to see if you purchased everything correctly. The bad thing about this store in this location is the long flight of stairs that you have to climb up. And when you exit, you are forced to take the elevator because there are no stairs for you to go down and there's only 1 elevator! So if there's less people waiting then your fortunate and if not then you have to squeeze yourself in the elevator or wait for the next one. Luckily the wait times for the elevator were not too long when I was there.

5 Below is a fun store to shop. I could look around in here for an hour and not get bored. My daughter bought this popular stuffed animal. I just hang out and restrain myself. At my age I don't want anymore stuff! In fact I wish she would stop buying stuff. I'm overwhelmed when I go to her apartment. They have fun loving employees. I've got no problem with visiting here. I definitely recommend for children's gifts. If you have children it's a shoppers paradise.

Very fun and colorful store at a price you can't imagine ! They have everything here. Lots of toys to choose from if you want to buy your Christmas gifts any occasions. The store is organized and easy to navigate. Think of convenience plus toy store. Walking around Union square I think I saw another one planning to open. After you pick out your stuff you will need to head to the regular check out line to pay, it was quick.

Pretty cool five below , This right in the heart of Union Square In Manhattan there Nordstorm Rack and Target store down the block , couple blocks away from Parsons ( New University campus), one of the workers wasn't really helpful i asked for item and he told me there ran out of stock , luck i follow my mind and i kept looking and i found the item walking around the store , I usually go to Five Below in Brooklyn on Flatbush Avenue & Snyder Avenue. but any how this location is beautiful and spacious and clean . wouldn't mind coming back P.S. : I would gave this place a four star , because the store clerk was clueless ,but atmosphere was cool Very Convenient By the MTA Transpiration: Subway: 4,5,6,L,N,QR,W-Train 14 street ,Union square Train station. Bus: M14A,M14D

This location is actually really nice. The whole store was really clean. I didn't spit any items thrown on the floor and everything looked to be in its place. To get to this store you either have to walk to the second floor or take the elevator. The store seems to be at a pretty discreet location as it wasn't so busy on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was seen around the store cleaning up and organizing anything that seemed out of place. The security guard was standing near the entrances just making sure everything and everyone was behaving alright and not stealing lol. They only seem to have self service check out machines buy any staff member can assist you. Overall this location was really nice 5/5

After going to this 5 Below for years, I will never return. I buy my candies there 3 for $1. Now they ring up at 2 for $1. The manager on duty stammered, red faced, called numerous higher ups (supposedly) and still would not honor the price of 3 for $1 which is plastered EVERYWHERE. It's not the $, it's the principle of good customer service: honor the advertised price. End of rant!!

You'll find the classics: chopsticks, ceramics, Lucky Cat statues, loose leaf teas alongside nostalgic snacks, fans, patterned paper, clothes/ qi paos, purses, and other beautifully designed everyday items. Everything is just so well curated, this is one of the best places to find a gift for someone when you don't know what you're looking for. Some of my favorite things to pick up here: Tiger Balm, lanterns, fans, incense sticks, tea sets, slippers. It's also still family owned and has been in operation for 55 years now (since 1971!). Nice place just to browse Chinese decors, knick knacks, clothes, snacks and condiments. I bought some nice pens and a beautiful silk scarf. Prices are reasonable. I happen to chance on their little art exhibit at the back. The Red Envelop show for Lunar New Year. Very interesting. Over all, i like this place, feels like it instantly transports me to China with out leaving NYc.

It's perfect whether you're buying just a few items or stocking up in bulk. I was shocked at the deals here. Something that would easily cost $160+ elsewhere came out to only $80. You really can't beat that, especially in NYC. The shop is busy but well organized, and the staff is quick, helpful, and honest about prices. Whether you're grabbing last-minute souvenirs or shopping for a whole group, this place delivers on both variety and value. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in Chinatown and want great souvenirs without the tourist prices!

This is a really excellent souvenir shop in Chinatown with a great selection and wonderful products, but several of the others across the street and down the road are cheaper, and the service here is actually pretty awful. The hard selling soon turned into negativity when I didn't find what I wanted (even though I purchased here several times before, I wouldn't have expected them to remember), so I ended up not wanting to do anything here again. But for products and prices alone I'll give them three.
