I've only seen the area from the highways that are tree lined. I am quite amazed by how out of touch I was for this area. This mall is quite expansive. The one thing I love about the DMV area is that the malls are still thriving. Not to the point where every single store is filled, but no where near dead mall territory. I had some time to kill before I had to head back home and wanting to pick up some items. Parking here had me. I wasn't sure where would be the best place to park. I ended up in the outdoor lots and didn't even want to mess with the parking structure. As a note, early here means you will encounter a slew of parents with their children in tow. Be careful and mindful in the parking lot as they will be everywhere. The mall had a bit of everything in here. The typical anchors and national chains you would expect to find in a mall. Food court area was jammed with eateries and customers. I opted to not eat here. Would definitely come back. Especially on a lazy day. Good people watching, enough stores to grab whatever you might be thinking of getting, and ample parking.

Cute, stylish, and well organized- Aerie has something for your teen. Bougie pants and tops, as well as shorts, and undergarments. Aerie is a perfect place to shop. Sales help were courteous and patient. The store was clean and has a sister store- Offline, that is connected to Aerie. There were lots of teens and parents picking out clothes. My grandkids had a good time shopping there and we came home with a full shopping bag. Which, if I might add is made of sustainable fabric. Thanks Aerie.

We even had to open our own dressing room. When my daughter left the dressing room she sat the clothes down on a chair, a salesperson (who appeared seemingly out of nowhere) told her they don't go there and next time not to leave them. She was very rude and I said as much and she told me/us we could leave and to get out of the store. It was a very disappointing experience.

But this location was on the lacking side. They only had, from what I could find, a milk crate with a few LPs and those new mini EPs. What took up a lot of this space was a beauty section. Are they pivoting in what they offer? I mean it felt like the beauty section was taking over about half of the store. I did browse the clothing real quick but wasn't really feeling it. I made my way back out into the mall and continued my day. No LP for me.

The clothing are well made and comfortable. I know that when I buy something from Gap Kids, it will last a long time and my grandkids will love it. My granddaughter loves their soft sweatshirts and pants. I just bought her new winter coat there. I can also find baby clothing that is cute and soft. They are adorable and they have a nice selection for boys and girls. The sales staff are great. They even put away the size of the coat I wanted, so all I had to do, was come in and pay for it. I took off one star, because prices are a bit higher. But, you get quality goods for the price. I really like Gap Kids and I am sure to be back.
