Bath and Body Works is well stocked and ready for your business. They moved to the lower level of the mall close to Macy's. They have enticing smelling candles. There is every aroma of hand lotion and soap, you can imagine. I love the different seasonal products. There are Fall scents and Halloween products. The Halloween products are on sale. They have a beautiful display of Christmas gifts and scents. I was offered help as soon as I walked through the door. So, service was really good. The price points are very good and they offer lots of bundles. So, if you are looking for some gifts or just want to spoil yourself with a gift, then head on over to bath and Body Works. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! There was a whole team of workers just chatting behind the counter... Any one of those ladies could have let me pay for the items but instead they just kept talking and watching! I put all of my items back: about $35 worth and walked out! I was looking for a bath math (this store doesn't sell them, I found out) and ended up with a pretty car freshener and two small air freshening sprays. I have purchased great-smelling bubble baths here before, as well--the difficult part is always selecting just one or two fragrances, because they have a such a fantastic and wide variety! The store associates are kind, although yesterday's cash register person was a little impatient explaining the rewards system when I asked about it. You will have to give out your email, phone number, and zip code if you'd like to have a rewards card--I opted out as I felt it was too much information needed. And there were people waiting behind me in line...and the associate at the counter didn't want to wait for me to fill out my information. No worries, as I don't need another card or more membership emails.... Anyway, this is a fun,colorful, and nice -smelling store to shop at! read more

Visited this location recently and was extremely disappointed by the staff's lack of service and efficiency. Only one of the three employees on the floor was actually working; she was at the cash wrap doing her best to quickly and kindly ring up the long line of guests that were queued back 3/4 of the length of the store. The other two had no interest in helping customers, NOR THEIR OWN TEAMMATE, but instead were standing around chatting with one another. I did not receive a greeting upon entering, nor did I personally hear them greet anyone else despite them hovering at the store's entrance the entire time of my 20 minute experience (15 of which were spent in line). To top it off, an entitled customer decided his handful of items were a small enough purchase to cut the line. This was obviously not the fault of the staff, but the entire experience was the pits, and I will not be returning to this particular store unless there's a serious improvement in customer service. read more

OMG, Katrina's presence lights up like the fantastic candles & wallflowers they sell. It seemed she was only salesperson on the floor, which made her no never mind as she was doing just fine in taking care of all the customers that were perusing around for their preferred scent of something. I'm so basic in scents & such with not really being opened for new things, yet Katrina slowly & encouraged me to try something new for my wallflower needs. Especially since she saw me smell the same candle 3 times LOL. So stepping outside of my eucalyptus mint & stress relief norm, I went for the gusto & picked up the new Mahogany Teakwood, that has a combination of mahogany, oak & frosted lavender scents. I got both the 3-Wick Candle & Wallflower Fragrance Refills. & you know with BBW, there is always a sale, so I lucked up on my usual $22.50 candle for $15.00 & the 4 for $20 refills, such a better way then paying $6.50 a piece. It's always a positive shopping experience when I come here, & Katrina made it even more so, with her sociable spirit & knowledge. You'll get a greeting for you when you walk in, the store is never out of order or in a disarray. The only thing I would like to see is an App & not having the need to provide my email address each time I checkout...come on BBW, lock us in the system & keep sending those awesome coupons! I went to the shop and explained that few days ago I purchased in their Bowie location a car aroma which lacked a small plastic clip for attaching it to the car - probably not worth a penny. Instead of showing courtesy and giving me this worthless piece of plastic, the manager first disputed that it is possible and then sent me to bring proofs. Had an awesome experience at this location. My husband and I came in to return a candle that was broken in the mail and we were assisted by the lovely Chrissy (who happens to be the top associate in customer service). She was awesome. They did not have a replacement of the sweater weather candle that was broken but we did settle on a candle that smelled just as good. Chrissy apologized for the broken candle and made sure to wrap up our new candle and place it in a candle holder for extra precautions. She was extremely nice and helpful. She chatted with us throughout the entire process and she made the exchange a breeze. I will definitely return to this location simply because of the service I received. read more

My browsing experience was fine, as it always is in bath and body works. I did leave annoyed and empty handed. I think I was just more confused with this one experience so I wanted to share. Greeted when I went in the door by a friendly associate. He is the saving grace of this visit. When I selected my items, I went to the register to check out. The employee that was working (?) the register was seriously, trying to hide in the back of the store behind the little square protrusion from the wall. Like, legit peeking around the corner hiding. I thought he was on the phone, he was mumbling. Thinking that he was just hiding to finish his convo quickly before he helped me, I patiently placed my items on the counter and waited. He eventually came over, still mumbling, but now I noticed he was talking to someone on a headset, not on the phone. He then mumbled something about cash or credit, which cued me in that maybe (?) now he was talking to me now?! So I asked, and turns out, yes he was, and he told me curtly that he can't take credit cards only cash and that the credit card reader is by the front door, and then continued his conversation with whoever. Ok (?) so I was a little put off by by this especially since we just had gotten the best customer service ever at Macy's. So I wandered toward the front and the friendly associate was busy helping a customer so I couldn't ask him where this fabled credit card reader was and I decided I didn't want to wait around after that strange experience so I ditched what I wanted to purchase and left. Long story short, one person irked me enough to write this experience, but everything else about the trip was fine, although I'm a little confused about the credit card thing?! read more

Great sale and WIDE selection of scents to choose from. The store is consistently organized and it's easy to navigate around. What I appreciate very much about the store is how clean it is at all times. However I did have a somewhat unpleasant experience at checkout. Cashier wasn't too eager to assist and was very abrupt in the process of checking me out, otherwise I've got nothing but good things to say. read more
