This was easily one of the worst customer service experiences I've had at a Sephora…read more I came in around 12:30 PM to pick up an online order placed the day before. I told the greeter I was there for pickup and was directed to stand in a line of about 10 people. That alone defeats the entire purpose of ordering online. After I pushed back, she called for help. Another associate came over...only to tell me the exact same thing, to get in line. At that point, I said cancel the order and started to leave. As I'm walking out, she says "you can cancel the order" in a dismissive tone. So I walked back in and asked for the manager. Of course, the person giving the attitude was the manager, Blanca. Instead of resolving anything, she tells me she's busy helping another customer and can't grab my order. Then follows me to the door continuing to explain how busy the store is and that they've had "issues." None of that is the customer's problem. What's wild is that the store was full of associates, yet no one could take 30 seconds to retrieve a prepaid order. No ownership. No urgency. No accountability. I canceled my order with customer service immediately after and will not be returning to this location. If you actually want a seamless experience, go to Tysons Corner, One Loudoun, or Mosaic instead.

I didn't realize that I needed the original order information (email, etc.) so I unfortunately had to contact the person who gave me the gift to obtain this information. (Side note, the cell reception is terrible here, making it more difficult to retrieve the info). The staff there were all very friendly and very helpful not only to me but also to the other customers in line that required assistance. They did some paperwork for my bag and provided me with a copy. I received emails showing me updates on my bag (received at warehouse, shipping back to me) and my bag arrived repaired and back home in a short number of weeks. I really appreciate the customer service here! Another side note - I didn't realize that their expensive slide shoes are made of PVC. Pretty disappointing for the name and price.

I even wrote customer service. They responded basically, sorry please come again. I found that extremely unacceptable. I really gave up on Tommy Bahama completely. Later I realized there is another location in Bethesda, MD. It is completely pathetic we have to drive over 20 miles to buy what we want, although we have the last 3 times strictly for customer service. We don't like to buy online as we prefer to try clothes on. All staff at the Bethesda location are pleasant. Jonah has helped us numerous times. And he is exceptional. These 5 star scores are strictly for the Bethesda location.
