It has a huge parking area to shop at . This is an awesome store . This place is a huge building. As you go in this place has to the right women's clothes , and mens department clothing. It has a sorts clothing for golf and Baseball apparel . This place has department suck as kitchen wear , Kids clothing,and toys , This place has a shoe department for kids , adults alike . It has fitting rooms there to try on the stuff . Italso has a huge cosmetics separate area in khols . I hadn't been there since the pandemic . I hadn't to inform them I did online applications with them for the stock and cashier areas . I hope they give me a chance fir jobs there someday . I want a jib there without fear , Judgment ir bad politics without seeing what I can do to bring an asset for their team . I loved shoping there for sports pants and good pants and shirts socks and shoes and nats and orioles caps . Its been 5 yeas snce ive been there since the pandemic. I was only here because of the coupons. It has been a while since I last visited this location. Most employees seemed to be at the register, which was good in a sense, although I didn't really see any on the floor. I was able to find what I was looking for (somewhat) but noticed many sizes totally missing from the shelves and racks. I don't know if it was because this was near the holiday period. 11.11.23 Stopped in as I was across the street having lunch and happen to see Kohls on my way out. I had planned to go to the location near my home in Howard County so this was very convenient. This looks smaller than other locations, but the selection of merchandise is still good. I tried on a few holiday dresses and accessories just for fun. My only purchases today was a festive holiday headband and gift boxes. While waiting in line to check out, I appreciated that more staff were called out to the registers even though it was just me and the lady in front of me. That's good customer service! read more

I don't know why this place gets a bad wrap. It's Kohl's. What do you expect but the things that they would sell at Kohl's. But the customer service is actually really good. And they have a very convenient Amazon return kiosk that I use frequently. Whenever I do purchase something there, it's usually a great bargain for a decent product and if there's a long line, customer service always opens up to check out more customers. read more

I have spent thousands of dollars at Kohl's. This is one of my favorite places for clothes, shoes, gifts, household goods, and so much more! This store was a bit disappointing because it was more disorganized than others I've been to, the clearance racks were limited and not in size order, and the selection of non-sale men's clothing was somewhat limited. It's one of the closer ones to me so I would return but it wouldn't be my go-to location unless I was specifically picking up an item I ordered online. Worth a try! read more

The ONLY reason I do my Amazon returns at Kohl's is to get and use the 20% off coupon. For the THIRD time in a row I couldn't use the coupon because it was a restricted item (Sketchers). Bait and Switch at its finest. You find out you cannot use the coupon after standing in line for 15 minutes because they only ever have one or two cashiers. I left the Sketchers on the counter. I am a recent graduate who just needed a pair of pants that needed to be exchanged at the nearest Kohls for a smaller size. With me being an individual with over a decade of customer experience, I was very disappointed. The lady that assisted me was very brief and uninterested in my service. She never informed me where in the store to go and the store was very disorganized. Her demeanor seemed as if she was being prejudice based on my appearance. She was more task driven then customer driven and assumed I didn't have a receipt. I would not recommend shopping in a place where certain customers are not valued. read more

We were near Kohl's when I remembered Rich had mentioned he needed a new pair of walking shoes so I suggested we stop. It was so nice to be in a familiar store after months and months of very limited outings. The store was not crowded so we felt comfortable browsing. Mid-March and they had all of their colorful Spring-time linens and clothes on display. Rich found a pair of shoes and I headed to the ladies department. When I went to try on a few items the dressing room was closed. I saw and employee and she confirmed all of the dressing rooms were closed but Kohl's has extended their return window to 6 months. I picked out a few things I was pretty sure would fit and luckily they did. The lady who checked us out was really nice and helpful so all in all a very successful shopping trip. read more

Finally! Maybe this spanking new Kohl's will revive this once dingy shopping center. Thank God the Super Fresh with the mean customer service ladies is gone and has been reinvented. The entire facade of this shopping plaza got a well deserved face lift. As for the interior of Kohl's, it's all shiny and sparkly for now. I'm use to my go-to Kohl's on Cherry Hill Road, but this one has the potential to be a destination store once I get use to the different layout. I think because the store only has one main entrance/exit, they needed to be more creative with how they configured the layout. It has the same brands as all the others. Almost everything is always on sale. I wouldn't say they 'play games with the prices' like another reviewer mentioned. Go to the rack and look at the sale tag card at the top. They even do the % math discount for you. If you aren't sure of the price, there are electric scanners everywhere! no need to bother an associate, who won't know prices off the top of their head. This isn't Burberry's after all. It's Kohl's. A department store for the frugal, yet fashionable shopper. P.S. Get a Kohl's credit card just for the 15-30% discounts. You won't be sorry! read more

My auntie loves Kohls. I used to shop there when i was younger. Now that I am an adult, I can appreciate their sales even more. LOL I have been avoiding Kohls. Just didnt seem like anything fit my style. They only reason why i have stepped foot in a Kohls is for their Amazon return desk. When you make returns, they give you coupons to shop. I definitely took advantage of that the first time around. Yesterday, I purposefully went to the store with the intentions on buying a white t shirt so that I can dye it while at a Yelp event. I saw online that they were really affordable and I appreciate that they carry plus size in JR wear. I tried on 2 different white shirts and realized i liked one cut over the other and then got 3 more shirts of the same brand in different colors. Cant beat a $5.99 shirt. I've been looking for some casual shirts to pair with leggings anyway. WINNING! I just casually strolled the store to see what else they had to offer an ended up getting a delicious smelling candle and a front door mat for outside. Maybe i'll go back and take a look at their bathing suits before my trip later this year. Overall I was surprised to see myself back at this store and I had a good experience. read more

If you return your Amazon packages there, all you need is the package and a return QR code or label. Kohl's takes care of the rest. They also give you a significant store coupon with every return. This Kohl's store is located in Northgate Plaza in Aspen Hill. I tend to shop online when it comes to Kohl's. This summer I needed a second & new swimsuit. While looking online at Target and Old Navy I came across men's swim suits on sale at Kohl's for 50 percent off (less than $15). The problem was I wanted to avoid any shipping fees. The Kohl's website let me ship my item to the store. Upon arriving at the store I expected I'd pick the item up at guest services at the front of the store. Instead the associate told me about Kohl's new order pickup system. She said it was at the back of the store next to Amazon's order pickup. So I walked to the back & saw rows of bins of Kohl's orders. I looked at the Kohl's email to see what number my order was. Upon finding my bin and removing the order I scanned the bin to verify the order pickup. Walking out of the store I looked forward to wearing my swim trunks later that day! Shopped there in the first two hours that the store was open on the first day of operation, and got the following impressions: 1) The store was very neat and clean. 2) The employees were not well trained and didn't quite know what they were doing. 3) The company plays games with the prices. On the first point, the store was indeed very neat and clean. This is to be expected for the first day of operation. The Kohl's brand is not new to the area, but rather this was just another location for an already-established brand, and thus there weren't huge crowds there to immediately destroy the store. Whether this holds after the store becomes more established is anyone's guess. On the second point, the employees didn't quite know what to do in the store. We asked three employees where the Juniors department was, got three different responses, and soon found that all three of those responses were wrong. When I asked an employee what the price of an item was that wasn't listed on the sale list, the employee stated apologetically that they did not know, but then left without seeking to rectify the problem. Additionally, in the checkout area, the line was set up where a single line fed multiple registers. However, employees would then take people from the single line and stack them behind registers. This led to customers who were behind us in line being served and out the door before we were ever seen. The third point is what will likely keep me from shopping at Kohl's in the future, because the company plays games with the pricing in the store. Every item in the store is tagged with a price. However, since every item in the store is "on sale", you then have to search for an electronic display on a shelf nearby to translate the ticket price to the actual sale price. Shoes have a small electronic display for prices attached to the tag on the display model for the sale price (which is also different from the price tagged on the box). This seems like too much work. When I go shopping, I expect to see the price for the item on the first try. I don't want to find the item's price, and then go look up that price to see what the alleged "sale" price is. Just tell me the price without playing games with it. So all in all, I was less than impressed with this Kohl's. Hopefully they will improve, but I don't see myself coming back in the near future, nor do I see this new store changing my existing shopping patterns. read more

This store is a perpetual disaster. I'm a fan of Kohl's in general and have been to a lot of really nice stores. This one is the bottom of the barrel. Nothing is organized...racks are full of randomly sized and random brands in piles. This makes finding your size impossible and forcing you to price check everything to make sure the sales sign applies to the items you found under the sales sign. Going there to find a pair of jeans was infuriating...everyone who shops at Kohl's must be a size 34...cause that seemed to be the only size across all the men's Levi's in stock. The floor was covered in garbage, old hangars and clothes crumbled on the floors. The worst part is this isn't a fluke visit. It's been like this nearly every time I've visited for the past 3 years. I kept hoping it'd get better, but it just doesn't. I know the neighborhood is not the best, but it's sad when the K-Mart a block away is far cleaner, more organized and properly stocked. This store is a big disappointing. I went and purchased gift cards and did get a gift receipt to put with card. They just made excuses and even the 855 number wasn't any help. I was really excited for the opening of Kohls. I have always thought it would be a great idea to open a department store in that shopping center, and Kohls has always been a favorite of mine because of their great sale prices, the Lauren Conrad collection, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony and many more designers. What I noticed the three times I went was that it can be quite unorganized. For example, the perfume/cologne area is a mess. You find a sample bottle in a different size than what is actually in stock and or a complete different name of the cologone/perfume in the box than the sample. My BF and I were trying to find at least one bottle to match the sample, no luck. When we told the manager about it she just said, " you dont have to purchase it". It was very rude because we thought she should know that it was important to display the right tester for the product. I like going to Kohl's because they have lots of sales and coupons, and I can usually find good deals. This particular location is not my favorite, mostly because of the very limited selection of boys' clothing and women's professional clothing. At least there is plenty of parking and the store is clean. I haven't had any bad experiences with the employees either. read more

I'm definitely a fan of Kohl's. This location is just in a very traffic-filled intersection though, so going in and out of the parking lot will be a pain at most times. So other than the crazy traffic nearby Aspen Shopping Center, it's enjoyable. There are other shops and eateries nearby too, so it fits well into that shopping center. It's still fairly new, so sometimes it seems like they're lacking in sales associates during the morning and afternoon times. Great prices, if you get the Kohl's Charge card, you get discounts very frequently in the mail and email... It's great!~ their items are always good. Their return policy is also very nice! One bad thing is.... I find this Kohl's to be a lot smaller in size (square footage??) and also in the items they sell. There are some other Kohl's in Columbia and Gaithersburg that are WAY bigger in selection. That's the only downfall... the selection of clothing items, for pretty much everything actually is about 75% of the stock in other Kohl's. read more

Good experience. They offer a lot more than clothes, a small mini department store. They have greeting cards, pots and pans, luggage, perfumes, some electronics, and ofcourse clothes. Prices are the same as major Dpt stores. Overall, it was a good place to run in and get what you need. read more

Pretty good Kohl's. The only thing I didn't see from other Kohl's is the athletic appeal. This Kohl's had a nice section of clothing though, although it doesn't have as much as another I went to. I am not a frequent Kohl's shopper, but I bought a Kohl's Groupon, so I went to buy some gifts. When I got to the checkout the Groupon wouldn't scan. They called the manager who told them I could not use the Groupon because the items were already at their lowest sale price of the season. No where on the "Terms and Conditions" does it state that I can't use it for sale items of any kind. The poor clerk was very nice. The manager never appeared (only by phone). I left my items. The bill with the Groupon would still have been $50.00. I hope Groupon removes them. The only reason I even gave them two stars is because the clerk was so polite. This review is for Kohls.com (online)...not for this particular store. I am a frequent shopper of Kohls. I have been for years. However, I just started shopping online recently and my experience has been horrible with kohls on line. My first order, after waiting eight days to receive it, prompted me to call the offices to inquire about my missing purchase. I called to find out that my order had been cancelled without any explanation. It was out-of-stock. Then two weeks after, I placed another order. The first shipment was okay but the console that I ordered came with broken pieces of wood on the legs. On the shipment receipt it said to return the item to the nearest kohls. I didn't have someone to take the console so I decided to use glue to fix it. Then when I called to complain they told me that they could have come to pick it up if it were not assembled. However, this was not indicated on the receipt. Needless to say, I will not shop at Kohls.com (online). read more

Just came back from shopping at Kohl's the weekend after its grand opening. Glenmont hasn't had a new department store in decades -- our closest option is a dingy, poorly stocked Kmart -- so I was relieved to see we were getting a Kohl's. The whole shopping area (Northgate) was hopping with customers, but the parking lot had just been redone and was accommodating the increased traffic well. The store itself was relatively neat, clean and well laid out. I'm docking a point from the score because, as the reviewer below said, the staff don't seem to be well trained yet. I asked where I could find cable-knit sweaters with 3/4-length sleeves, and the lady looked at me like I was speaking Congolese. But fortunately the cash registers were well staffed and the cashiers seemed to know what they were doing, so the lines moved quickly. I purchased a few new pairs of work slacks and will definitely be back for more. read more

I returned two pairs of jeans today. Each one was $39.99 that is a total of $79.98 + 4.80 sales tax. I had received $20 Kohls cash on this purchase so that was to be deducted from my refund since I had redeemed it on another purchase. My problem is this. The cashier took the total of the $79.98 and deducted the $20 Kohls cash. Which had me losing a $1.20 back in sales tax that I had paid on the purchase initially. She should have deducted the $20 from my total purchase with sales tax. So instead of receiving a refund of $64.78 I received a refund of $63.58. I want to add I had my receipt read more

Have always had good customer service here. I like that this store is smaller. Feels more intimate and not so intimidating. Recently, I had a problem where I used a merchandise credit and a gift card. Inadvertently, the merchandise credit wasn't applied to my bill and I didn't discover it until I got home. I was quite upset and called the store. A wonderful person, Erica, answered and immediately calmed me down and fixed the problem. It was complicated and a nuisance, but she was extremely polite and went out of her way to help. I really appreciate good customer service and these guys are the best. Thank you!! read more

Got home looked through Internet yes I should have gotten 20% off so I called the store to speak to the manager sat on hold for a while then another person picked up said who I was holding for and was then informed the manager is on vacation.
