My daughter wanted to come here for her birthday, to pick out a few sweet treats, and we were more than happy to take her. Honestly, we really only come here for their candy section, since it is plentiful. Lots of variety and lots of candies you don't see at other places. They always choose something weird or new my kids want to try. While we have a five below in Georgia, it's mediocre compared to this one. They also have chargers that we grab when we're visiting. My hulk handed kids can be too strong sometimes and they break cords. Most of the time the chargers work fine, but obviously at $5 they don't last. Sometimes when browsing we find cute and nifty Knick knacks and we'll occasionally buy those too. There's really something for everyone here. read more

All was fine until I got to the register to pay, young lady with red twist braids asked if I'd like to type in my email to get 10% off my purchase, I said no, she muttered that I was a bitch and rolled her eyes at me while she scanned each item, I used to work at that location, but now I won't be shopping here anymore. The insensitivity and rude remarks, looking at my stomach and lightly chuckling to herself was overly aggressive. I do enjoy shopping at five below . They have a lot of items at reasonable price, staff is pleasant, and store is clean. However, What is the point of self checkout if all the self checkouts are constantly all closed. If self check out is an issue, please have enough staff for regular check out. A crowded store but it seemed organized and laid out so that browsing was easy enough. Looking over the stuff, there were some deals and steals and some things that probably would be cheaper at a dollar store. Lots of cheap extruded plastic and lots of cheap imported soft goods. But hey, I found *exactly* what I was looking for and so I'm not complaining as to the selection. I love five below and going to different ones to see if they have different things, but was disappointed by the customer service at this location. Checkout was all self checkout, but had an attendant ring everything up for us. I had a pretty simple question that she couldn't even answer and answered it as if I was stupid for asking, then proceeded to rush me and tell me to hurry up because I was forming "a line" of 1 other couple behind me that had just walked up. I've been to this store a few times. It's located in the Landstown Commons shopping center a few spots away from IHOP. This visit occurred after going to IHOP and my niece was with us, so this is what brought us in here. The nice thing is this place has many different gadgets and items you can get. As the name implies, everything is $5 or less. This place had some things such as toys, games, and books. I think the biggest draw are the games and some small electronics that they have, such as phone chargers and more. This place was clean and well maintained. The hardest part way trying ti keep my niece from trying to get everything in the store. Overall, this was a nice store to visit with lots of options available. Of course, we didn't come out empty handed. The one thing they needed that night was more than one person at a register. The line was pretty long. If you're looking for small items at good prices, this place is worth checking out. read more

How have I NOT been here before! It's like an upscale Dollar Tree for fun days! I only wish there was one closer to where I live. We came in right after a Children Festival got rained out, so it was super busy when we came in. The line was a little long but it went fast. Maybe it's just me, but I actually think this place gets better - their products and selection just get better each time I come. Today I got some random things to add to someone's birthday present, my favorite German gummis (even though they're not authentic and straight out of Germany, I guess it's the closest that I will get for now), and my favorite thing from today's visit - these 2 beautiful scarves! These are definitely not for warmth, definitely more for style, because they're so thin. But still. Two pretty scarves for $10. Winning. Staff usually isn't the friendliest (from past experiences), but today, the lady was cool. Definitely a fan of five below! This place has something for everyone of all ages! read more

WOW! My wife and two grown daughters have been going to Five Below for years. All this time I thought it was a womens clothing store. Whoa to my surprise it was not. As a matter of fact its a place that I would go to and get those misc items for a reasonable price. This particular store was in the Princess Anne area of Virginia Beach and it had a lot of little gadgets that I love. Yes they do have clothing for all, but they also have toys, electronic gadgets, and stuff you don't really need but buy it anyway because its there. You can waste some money in here but its good stuff. I bought a six foot iPhone cable. Oh! Did I mention everything is $5 or less? I wish they sold power tools. This is such a fun store! I just recently went here with my roommate (he couldn't believe I had never been to it before) and we had a blast just looking around at all the different and cool stuff that Five Below has to offer. Yea, some of it is cheap crap, but some of it is really awesome. They have all kinds of electronics (think headphones, car phone chargers, even cheap Wii remote accessories) they have t-shirts, cosmetics, snacks, movies, toys, seasonal items and more. The staff here was pretty young, seemed like a bunch of high-school kids, but they were nice so I have no complaints. I've actually been dying to go back here ever since I went the first time. I went here for the first time today, never been in a 5 below before and I was very pleased with my purchases. My favorite thing I found was a sports bra which was only 5 dollars and fits well and seems to be very good quality for the price I paid. the cashier was very nice aswell. However the only thing I wasnt so happy with was a phone case that I bought; one of the clasps was broken so it did not secure the case properly. I went in an exchanged it for a different one with no problem, but the second one still had the same issue. read more

I typically love this chain of stores - fun stuff at a low price - but this location is different! Called the store to check if they had intermediate 28.5 sized basketballs. The sales associate was extremely rude on the phone and refused to check. I drove 30 miles one direction to the store (closest location to me) only to find they didn't carry the basketballs. Attempted to buy some water, one cashier working was busy helping a customer. The other two employees were standing behind the counter playing on their cellphones. I waited 10 minutes to buy a bottle of water. I will not be going back to this location. read more

I loved this store and I wish there was one in Minnesota! They provide a variety of items from between $1-$5. I got a new iPhone case, magnetic nail polish, a para cord bracelet and some ribbon bracelet hair bands for my nieces, and headphones and I only spent around $20. The quality of each item wasn't the best but I didn't expect top quality for what I was paying. If there was a Five Below in MN I would do all the Christmas shopping for the kids in my family here! read more

I love Five Below stores! I can bring the kids in, let them run wild and grab a couple of things and they leave happy and so does my wallet. I have replaced my USB cables and my wife's iPhone charging cord on the cheap. My daughter got a case for her tablet here and all of it is $5 or less. You just can't beat it! My wife loves the fact that she can buy bead necklaces at this place for a $1 a pack for Fat Tuesday and St. Patty's day. Great selection, great prices. read more

This store was a lot of fun. Some useless stuff but some really neat items too. Bought my daughter a neon orange sundress beach cover up, got some good quality t-shirts, a few school supplies, some voodoo key chain dolls, all sorts of fun stuff for all ages really. The voodoo dolls were hilarious because my mom bought them for my 9 yr old nieces thinking they were scarecrows. Aww bless her heart! I had to convince my nieces to rehome them to me as their mother did not approve. I also got an awesome floppy straw hat! Everything is under $5 and there were LOTS of great finds. This is a great place to buy some knick knacks for a bbq, party, going to the beach, yda yda. I was really digging their party section. I spotted their tropical island themed gear and saw these coconuts where you can pour drink in. I came here specifically to look for a lunch box that would keep my food cool. They had a select few but not my taste. I walked around and was surprised at all the stuff you can get for $5, I even sported some beauty brands I know like Yes To, Eos, Blistex. Hilltop area next to Trader Joes. They've been open since August of 2011. They're like a trendy discount store with tons of birthday gift idea for so cheap! Headphones, chargers, cables, phone covers they got them all for 5$ or less. Omg! I almost forgot the snacks! They have from movie candy to 10 cent candys to old school candy! it's crazy fun in there. The music plays all day so leaving the store in a quickness is not an option.
