I know burgers. I love well-made burgers and don't mind paying a little extra for one. I will pay a little extra for good service. 3 experiences here, this place needs to spend more time getting the staff up to speed on the burgers and service. Way too pricey for what they provide. The food is okay, but the burger needs a tad more time on a hotter grill to get the proper caramelization to enhance the flavor. The time in a bag awaiting the fry person to dump fries in is too long. Thus, the juicy burger and fixings turn the burger into a gooey wet mess if you have a 3 minute drive home. The flavor is good, but unless eating it in the restaurant, it just doesn't seem to be a good idea to take it to go. The shakes are okay, but I'm not fond of the extra sweetness. The fries are likely really good but not crispy and kind of soft and gooey if taken to go. I do like the ambiance, namely the free peanuts in the shell to pick and eat while the meal is being made. Overall, it was too expensive, too slow, and not good for near by take out.

I was in the mood for a big juicy burger and I remember seeing that this place opened not too long ago so I decided to give it a try. I had a good experience but it seems to me that this restaurant chain is caught between gourmet (with gourmet prices) and a fast food restaurant. It has an identity crisis. I had a regular burger, small fry, and a small soda (actually, a medium soda because they don't have small). The bill was $20 and then with tax and tip it was mid-20s. That is a lot for a fast food place. It was kinda like sticker shock. Everything is a la carte. There are no combo meals. On the positive side, the burger was big and juicy. It was double patties, made to order so it came out hot. The condiments are generous. The burger was juicy and tasty. It was a good burger and ate like gourmet instead of fast food. The fries are pretty good, crispy on outside and tender inside. On the negative side, the meat needed some seasoning. The fries were just thrown haphazardly into the bag. The price is still something I can't get past. I can' believe that I just paid $20 for a fast food burger. The ambience is kinda sterile. They try to be hip with bags of potatoes stacked in the middle of the store (the same gimmick that I saw in Pittsburgh years ago when I tried 5 Guys for the first time. I remember thinking, "don't they have any storage in the back?"). But at the end of the day, the ambience is that of a fast food restaurant. It feels fast food and no amount of gimmicks can cover that up. The service was fine although a bit slow. Because they made my burger to order, it takes a while. There was just one other guy and me who were waiting for our order, so it was about 8-10 minutes. If the restaurant is full or a lot of people come at once, I can see it taking a lot longer. Will I be back? Not sure. $20 is a lot for a burger lunch. The burger was good, but I am not it was that good. In and Out is about 1/3 the price and the quality is about the same.

We tried this location recently and had a great experience. It had been years since we have visited this chain, but we enjoyed our meal. Their regular burgers are double patties. However, the little burger and little bacon cheeseburger were still filling. Our daughter enjoyed the grilled cheese. We also split a regular size fries with Cajun seasoning which had great flavor. They have a Coca Cola freestyle machine which we enjoy. The staff were friendly. They have a couple of high chairs but only 3 tables that are low enough to use them. The other tables are too high. A little pricey ($40) for what we ordered, but that is the new norm I think. We would come back.

Definitely not what I expected. The price for this burger is ridiculous. I decided to stop by and give this location a try but I sure won't be coming back. The service upon taking my order was not even good. They got my order wrong and the size of my meal wrong. If going to pay nearly $20 dollars for a burger it better be a great looking and tasty burger. I was very disappointed at the whole outcome. The place is small for a burger place of this magnitude. Not enough places to sit and enjoy a $20 dollar burger. The ambience is just so loud since the kitchen is just so small as well.

Tried to pick up the burger and this is what happened. Had to use a knife and fork to eat it. Was not impressed. Wasn't worth the cost.

Ordered a bacon burger all the way. Couldn't eat it as a burger. It was way too messy. They don't have plates so it was awkward cutting the burger to eat it. Was not that great of a burger. Will not go back.

HAHA Ordered the #5 Double Meat special and fries. People love comparing this to that, etc....I've never had 2 burgers like this. It was hot, it was yummy it was delivered with awesome service by Tami (my car hop!!). The fries? They were hot and awesome. Watch out on those fries...let em cool a bit. I will be back for sure soon! Strange to think this place could get full, but I bet it does on a daily basis at lunch/dinner. 1st spot you see might be the last spot you see during a busy lunch/dinner rush.

It does have an old vibe to it with the people go to you to order the food. There are many cars outside and was worried that it would take awhile. The servers come to you and you order through their tablet. I had to take a minute, but you have to make sure you have your blinkers on and they will come to you. I ordered the following #5 Special with bacon #1 The best burger and then the cheese fries I got the order within 10 minutes and did not take too long. Once they deliver the food to you, I paid through credit card and then you can tip them so I gave them an 18% tip as they were nice and serve the food to me. The food is very messy and oily so make sure you bring some hand sanitizer. They packed in a lot of napkins as well. The burger itself was just alright, was a little cold for me though so not so sure how long it was waiting. The lettuce and tomato was a little on the soggy side. The meat itself was just alright. When I ate it, I did not experience the wow factor. I can not complain about the price however. Overall, I rather go to Inn-n-out, but I am glad I got one of the places to try in Dallas out of the way.

A Very Disappointing Experience…read more I have visited Jollibee before, but this was my first time at the Greenville location, and unfortunately, the expereince left a lot to be desired. Like my food... I placed a mobile order online for a chicken sandwich meal, chicken tenders, and a drink. The ordering process was straightforward, and I tracked my order through the app. When the status showed it was complete, I pulled up to the drive-thru window. A very friendly employee informed me that the chicken tenders had been fried fresh and asked me to pull around and park out front while they brought my order out. No problem -- fresh tenders sounded great. After about ten minutes, an equally friendly young man appeared at my car. He looked visibly stressed. He asked if I had ordered a burger, to which I replied that I had not, and I described what I had actually ordered. He apologized, mentioned that they were remaking several orders, and quickly headed back inside. So I waited. And waited some more. From my parking spot, I watched the same young man and several other employees making repeated trips to cars in the lot -- only to walk back inside still carrying the bags of food. It was clear that something had gone significantly sideways in the kitchen or with the order management system. After approximately 30 minutes of waiting, he returned to my car carrying a drink holder with four drinks and a bag of food, and said, with what I can only imagine was exhausted uncertainty, something to the effect of, "I don't think this is your order." He was right. It was not. At that point, I had already lost too much time from my workday and asked him to cancel my order. He was apologetic and courteous throughout, and I want to be clear that the staff themselves were friendly and seemed to be doing their best under chaotic circumstances. The icing on the cake? Fifteen minutes after driving away empty-handed, I received a cheerful text message from Jollibee asking how my order was. It got a well-deserved thumbs down. This location has been open long enough that operational issues of this magnitude should not still be occurring. Better order management and communication between the kitchen and curbside staff would go a long way. I may give this location another chance in the future, but it will not be anytime soon. On the bright side... I probably didn't need all that food anyway.

Anyway, it is time for an update. This location is on the way home so it has become one of my favorite burger joints. The patty itself is very thin, maybe even thinner than McDonalds or Burger King, but the flavors with the mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and the seasoning powder make this burger very tasty. The fries are among the best in Dallas. Always crispy, a very generous portion, and that seasoning powder puts them over the top. Service is fast. You order at the counter and they call your name. It usually is not more than few minutes. Ambience is historic. You can imagine that in the 1960s and 1970s this place was cool. Today, not much has changed so it is more historic than cool. It feels like a burger joint. My main critique is that the price for the single burger and fries has really gone up. I remember, not too long ago, that the burger, fries and drink were under $10. This most recent visit, October 2025, it was over $13. The burger has not gotten bigger (but neither has it gotten smaller). I understand that prices go up, but I enjoyed the old prices more.
