Was in the mood for some hot dogs when we stopped into Shoma Bazaar and spotted BFF Burgers…read more We did two "build your own" hot dogs, with raw onion, potato sticks, cheddar cheese, ketchup, mayo, mustard and the salsa rosa which was a really nice touch. Classic split hotdog, had awesome flavor, which they were bigger (maybe i was just too hungry). I really enjoyed hem, they were exactly what we wanted. Also ordered a side of Mac and cheese bites and i really loved the big macaronis that were inside, the cheese flavor in those was really nice and it comes with a spicy aioli on the side that turned it up a notch. I love spice so that was a great side dish for the hot dogs. These hotdogs do stand out to me in comparison with other chain Hispanic spots that offer this, i can't wait to be back and order the same thing!

It was okay and filling, my only concern is the price. For a $20+ burger, you would expect it to come with fries.... well it doesnt. The cook/host manning the booth had headphones on so you couldnt even comfortably ask him about the menu, let alone order. When I asked if it came with fries, he nodded his head no and then put his earphone back in... Overall, if youre craving at burger and find yourself in Shoma, i guess you dont really have another option. But the service alone would stray me away from eating here. I wouldnt mind paying the high prices if I at least was treated right lol Shoma as a whole is clean, offers live music, and waitress staff is great. Parking is a little complicated and not free.

The location is convenient, and there are parking spaces. Not too many, but enough to have people coming and going steadily. Everything was closed around there, except for Wendy's and Taco Bell across the street. We decided to give it a try since we were exploring the city, and how wrong can you go with burgers? We ordered bacon burgers with fries. They also have cheeseburgers and other toppings to choose from from the menu. You can replace the burger with chicken if you want. There are two vegan options too, good call, by the way--also, tequeños and different flavored chicken wings, and fries with cheese, or onions or bacon are available to order too. In the parking lot, there are a few small tables if you want to eat there or wait for your order. We chose to sit and eat there. We were not missing the experience of people-watch in Miami! We were there for 40 minutes, and cars stopped all the time. There was even a line at some point. So, the burgers were very tasty, right-sized, nothing overdone. The fries were okay too. We liked the place and the experience very much. A great option to consider for a late-night snack!

From the moment we walked in, the customer service was excellent. The host and wait staff paid attention to every little detail and made us feel genuinely welcomed. To start, I ordered the cachapa and the lomo saltado empanada, and both were incredible. The empanada especially was packed with flavor. My wife had the bandeja paisa bowl, and I went with the risotto lomo saltado. That dish almost put me to sleep in the best way possible. Comfort food level 100. We had to finish the night with one of their coffees, and it was the perfect ending to the meal. Big shoutout to our server Elvis, who guided us through the menu and gave great recommendations. Usually menus with influences from so many different cultures can feel all over the place, but Luka somehow pulls it off perfectly. They're not just trying to do a little bit of everything. They truly feel like masters of it all. Definitely coming back.

We came on a Friday for dinner and ate from Chick N' Jones and BFF Burgers. Both delicious and very filling meals. The music was a but loud but they also had a live band playing so that makes sense. First off, the gratuity / tip is very hidden when you order on the site. They purposely suggest a tip beginning at 18% during check out and BEFORE you can see that they already have a fixed gratuity. So most of us double tipped. I'd be less annoyed if the service wasn't horrendous. The waitresses (food runners) all seemed to have an attitude. They won't make eye contact or speak unless you address them specifically. They didn't even hand the food over; they make you grab it off their trays. Asking for anything like napkins, extra plates, sauces, silverware is a nuisance to them, yet you've just DOUBLE TIPPED for this terrible service. Then you look at the booths and all the people behind them are texting. Maybe more attention to cooking and less on their phones would help. The food was basically all bad, which is really sad. I've had some really great experiences here in the past when it was SHOMA, but I definitely won't be back.

The place offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with market lighting and a projector playing great music. The staff was incredibly helpful in explaining the menu. My friends and I decided to get the Mega Combo deal, which includes two burgers, fries, and a drink for $15--a bargain in this economy! At first glance, the burgers looked quite simple, which made me think they might not be anything special. I'm glad I was wrong. Despite their simplicity, the burgers were packed with flavor. The bacon bits and their signature pineapple sauce were a perfect combination--absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong with this item on the menu. The fries were crispy, fresh, and very flavorful--overall, an excellent choice. Colyos' friendly service, spacious ambiance, and great food make it a must-visit spot to take your friends and family.
