    Bacon Burger
    Afshin S.

I recently visited the Five Guys at Summit Ave in Fontana and had an absolutely stellar experience. This location truly delivers on the Five Guys promise of fresh, customizable burgers and fantastic, generously portioned fries. I ordered the Bacon Burger, fully loaded All The Way and added a few custom toppings like Jalapeño Peppers and Green Peppers for an amazing, fresh kick. The burger was perfectly cooked--incredibly juicy, hot, and piled high with toppings that were clearly fresh. The flavor combination was outstanding and definitely satisfied my burger craving! The Little Cajun Fry was the perfect side. True to form, the bag was loaded up well beyond the cup, ensuring I had more than enough of those perfectly seasoned, crispy potato slices. The Cajun seasoning was spot on. Beyond the food, the dining area was clean, bright, and spacious. The service was efficient, and a special shoutout to Jimmy C. who took my order--great, fast, and friendly service made the visit even better. If you are in the Fontana area and looking for a reliably high-quality burger experience with great service, this Five Guys is the place to go.

You can dine in at this place, but we usually order takeout. I haven't been to this particular one in several months. This place is clean and they have a relaxing ambiance with an upbeat music playing while you eat or wait for your food. My family loves Five Guys! They love it because it's juicy and they grill the fresh burgers when you order. The meat patties are fresh and not frozen. Our order: Little beacon cheese burger all the way (1 patty) Bacon cheese burger plain (2 patties) Cheeseburger all the way no pickles (2 patties) Large fries with Cajun on the side My husband didn't like that his burger was cold by the time we went home, but unfortunately this place wasn't close to our home. Fries - way too salty!! My family only ate maybe two fries so they threw it out. You can't eat fries when it's way over salted. It's better if they put less because a customer can always add more. Disappointed because this is the first time ever that we got too salty fries from Five Guys. Employees here are friendly. Service is a bit slow because the cook when you order, but I don't mind because the burgers are tasty and juicy. Please support your local businesses.

Dirty kitchen floor they're sloshing around in.

It had been quite awhile since we had dined here, but again Diane and I were afforded a 4-1/2 star…read moreoverall experience. My ordered double dipped Big Beef Sandwich with Sweet Bell Peppers, melted Mozzarella Cheese, and Giardiniera was enormous, and after initially having my breath knocked away by the Giardiniera's overwhelming spiciness, my intestines soon settled down and I greatly enjoyed the melting concoction. The hoagie roll supporting this mammoth edifice of tender roast beef and embellishments nicely sopped up the au jus, and sank under the heat. The Chicago Dog that accompanied the Big Beef was a classic all-beef Hot Dog with a snap, rounded out with Emerald Green Relish, White Onions, Sport Peppers, and Yellow Mustard. For purists no ketchup is allowed on Chicago Dogs! Crinkle-cut French Fries added to my enjoyment of the meal. Diane liked her Fish Sandwich with a slice of American Cheese, and was especially fond of the Cheese Sauce into which she dipped her Fries.

I tried this place for the first time and was impressed by the decor. The Midwestern theme is well…read moredone and felt authentic based on my visits to the Midwest. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the atmosphere. I ordered the chili dog and fries, and for the price, I expected much better. The chili was thin and watery, lacking the hearty, meaty flavor you'd expect. It tasted more like a budget canned chili than something made fresh in-house. The hot dog itself was just okay--nothing memorable and certainly not something I would return for. Given my experience, I'm surprised by the current four-star rating. The restaurant looks great, but the food didn't match the presentation or the hype. I would recommend managing expectations before visiting. In my opinion, it's simply not as good as it looks.
