Usually there is a line outside but not today, probably due to the crazy wind. I walked up looked at the menu and placed my order. The ladies working in the truck are not the friendliest, not really rude but not welcoming at all. After I placed my order I was giving a post-it with a number on it. Waited less then 10 minutes and they called my number. I decided to eat in my car since the wind was ridiculous. When I opened my plate I noticed the tacos were large corn tortillas but very skimpy on the birria. Thought, no big deal as long as the flavor makes up for it. Well it didn't. No flavor at all even after I put all the fixings. I expect a certain flavor profile when it comes to birria since my family makes it from scratch and so do I. This didn't have any of those flavors. I opened the consomé thinking okay as long as this is rich and flavorful it will save the tacos. Well, again it wasn't. No flavor or richness to the consomé and it just kept separating, which was just kinda unappealing. Was it okay for a quick fix? Sure. Was it worth the price? No. Will I be back? Nope!! Maybe it was an off day for them, I don't know but I'll just stick to another place in Fontana if I need a quick fix or just make it myself.

When i brought this to the attention of the young man at the food truck he says the menu has not been updated since 2022/2023 so he just informs everyone of the actual price when they come for pick up. Maybe that's why the business is slow right now. Misinformed and clearly unjust in how the customers are expected to adhere to such a jump in price with no heads up. Sorry, the food is good but it's not worth the lack of communication or 7 dollar price raise. I might as well go to benihanas.

I usually go for the #1 combo, and it never disappoints, the mild spice level has the perfect balance of heat and flavor without being overwhelming spicy. The service is just as great as the food. The staff is always friendly, and it's nice that a few of them even recognize my girlfriend and me when we come in. It really adds to the welcoming, community feel of the place. I also love supporting this small business, especially knowing it started as a food truck. They've done an incredible job growing while still keeping the quality high and the prices reasonable.
