I was shocked to see how the kitchen was not clean, garbage overflowing, dirty towels on the kitchen floor and on the restaurant side, the floors were messy, crumbs and peanut casings all over. Usually all that aside the food is pretty good but the Cheeseburger I ordered had solid cold cheese on it. It hadn't even melted which was super disappointing as an avid five guys cheeseburger fan and I know this is not how they usually make it. The fries were good and up to par and they give you a lot of it! I'm really disappointed because this used to be one of my favourite burger joints. read more

I had lunch today at Five Guys Burger and Fries. While you're waiting for your meal, you can indulge in free roasted salted peanuts. I ordered a bacon burger with mustard, ketchup, tomatoes and pickles (there are lots of condiments to choose from) and a regular fries. There were a lot of fries ... there was another cupful in the bag! I'd get them again but I should have ordered a small order as I ended up not eating all the fries. The burger was a good burger and I'd get it again. I ordered a regular pop and there are free refills on the pop (why would you order a large?). The staff was friendly and accommodating. read more

If you like it, then you like it. It isn't for everyone. Large portions that you definitely more than pay for. (on the expensive side of the value proposition) The burgers are pretty good, made to order so not really fast for fast food. I do miss the peanuts while waiting... maybe you can still have them but I didn't see how. Fries are okay and they do this thing where they fill the cup then dump a bunch of fries in the bag. (The amount varies greatly depending on who is working). What I don't like. The food is extremely greasy, which is fine if that is what you're looking for. The burger is squished together like you'd expect from Mc'D or similar, which is disappointing when made to order. The burger is wrapped in foil which ensures the bun gets steamed soggy if you drive 5 minutes to home. Same with the fries. They go soggy very fast in the bag and the grease soaks though onto any surface you set the bag on. Sadly the fries, even if you ask for extra crispy, are never crispy. read more

It's more than enough fries for a normal human being. $16 for little fries and the small cheeseburger but you won't be hungry for another 8 hours. Love the free toppings. Places was littered with peanuts making it dangerous for anyone with peanut allergies. Burgers often end up having soggy buns due to their layout but could be different if less busy inside. Their shakes are very good though and you have unlimited toppings for it Place is pretty ok, good for a quick bite after the movies. If you've got peanut allergies this place is a minefield. read more

Five Guys are the champagne of fast food burgers. I love that I get to pick my toppings do I'm not omitting half of what comes standard on the burger. They're a great size for a fast food burger and are worth the higher price tag in my opinion. The vegetable toppings are always fresh. The fries, are absolutely amazing. When you order a large you get the large cup of fries, and another two huge scoops in the bag. Sharing fries is definitely recommended. If you have a nut allergy run far away from this place as they fry in peanut oil and there are peanuts to eat while you wait for your food. read more

Not having a location near me it is not often that I get a chance to eat at Five Guys but it's always a real treat when I do. Their burgers are tasty and they offer some of my favourite fries on the planet. That being said, they ain't exactly cheap: my son and I went last night and for each of us to have a burger and drink - and share an order of fries was just under $30. In fairness, we were pretty full at the meal's conclusion. The restaurant itself is bright and clean. You can pick your own toppings and free refills are included. The fries are absolutely overflowing - you end up with as many in the bottom of the bag as in the container itself. Maybe even more. As well, you should know that the standard burger actually comes with two patties - the "little" burger is a single patty and likely enough for most people. The menu is simply by design and I think the price is actually quite fair considering the quality of the food. Sure, I still may not go very often but will continue to look forward to future visits whenever I get the chance. It's likely my favourite fast food place around and if you have never been, you really should consider trying it out! read more

This is your cheat day meal right here. Huge portions, great taste! If you like burgers you'll love Five Guys! They have regular and little burgers. Don't be fooled, the little burgers aren't so little. (The only difference between the two is the little burgers have one beef patty). You can pick your toppings. Ranging from the classics like ketchup and mustard, to what other places would charge a premium for such as grilled mushrooms and jalapeño peppers. They don't have traditional combos, as you have to pay additional for fries and a drink. Be warned. Their fries sizes are bigger than what you think. Order a small for yourself and it'll be the size of a regular (I think you know where this is going). They literally dump a bunch of fries in the bag after they put everything in it. They even have free peanuts you can munch on while they make your burger. Here's my only issue with Five Guys: I wish they would use real cheese. They use a very fake plastic looking cheese. While it's good, it would be that much better if it were a real, non-processed cheddar. read more

The restaurant offers real meat - good amount too. Wee bit pricey... although, keep in mind, it is real meat. The wait lines are often full, so it takes a few minutes just to get to the front - and then you sit & wait for your number to be called... they are that busy. Staff is always friendly. read more
