I finally got around to checking out this restaurant. It's decent American sports pub food. With daily specials and occasional live music, it does look enticing. I ordered the classic burger with an Impossible burger as a vegetarian substitute. It was nicely cooked, and the bun was properly charred, cheese melted. My hubby ordered a black and blue smashburger. It was hot and tasty, the gorgonzola melted, mingling with the sautéed mushrooms with crispy bacon. He devoured it. The fries were mediocre and too much for one portion. The mozzarella sticks had a nice pull to them. I also ordered a maple bourbon old fashioned. The drink arrived with a piece of bacon and had a wonderful smoked effect to it. It lingered in the glass as I enjoyed the drink. Highly recommend. Overall, it was enjoyable. Our server was excellent, on point. I would return. Maybe on a night with live music. read more

Hot and Fresh! So I have lived in the area the last 6+ years. My wife and I try something new every once in a while. Hannah was our server. Friendly and polite. Beautiful smile. She was helpful with our order and spoke highly of our options. Our classic burger with fries and a chicken tenders basket came out of the kitchen so quickly we were impressed. Granted it was a Saturday night but no one should ever have to stand and wait over 10 minutes before someone addresses you. Some waitress passed us three times and in the fourth one finally said someone will be with you. Another waitress 2 minutes later stopped and told us they needed to clear off a table. The I can only assume the hostess, as she was not wearing the uniform tip, asked how many. We said 2 she said well we are at capacity. I said we were to the are clearing a table so said who is clearing the table? I pointed out apparently them because I wouldn't assume they met me. Two waitresses started clearing a table and the hostess then told us sorry that table is for someone else. It will be at least 20 minutes. Clearly it is a locals only place so don't waste your time if you visiting. They don't want you there which is clear by the hostess actions. read more

Greeted and sat promptly, it was a slow night due to the weather but there was plenty of staff. The place was fairly empty. Our drink ordered were taken quickly but we seemed to be forgotten after that. After a while (way too long of awhile) our waitress took are order. We started with the bread sticks for the table, pretty good. I had the whale (fish hoagie) and it was pretty good, the fries had a crust which was pretty good. My wife had the cubano and she felt was ok. One daughter had the cheese burger which she liked. My other daughter had the frenchie sandwich, a twist on chicken & waffles. Chicken on French toast. She really liked it a lot. The sodas come in mini pitchers which hold more than the average glass. Overall not a bad experience, though not a great one either. The blizzard like weather may have affected everyone. I will try again to see if the service was just a one off. Good bar food. read more

We were at the Highland location. The food is good. It's a wings, beer, and burgers kind of place. Good place to watch Guardians playoff baseball. However, the service SUCKS. Our waitress didn't bring plates with the wing order. We waited for long periods of time with our her checking on our table. read more

Do you enjoy being actively ignored and disrespected by your bartenders on a normal-busy Saturday night? This is your place. Did you want ketchup or another drink? No idea and we'll never know. Did you order a drink and your bartender takes orders from 4 other people for coming back to yours? Once again this is the place for you. All seriousness the bartender sat us at the not-busy bar and two different bartenders proceed to ignore our existence for 5 minutes. I won't bore you on the details after that. But just know if your kink is having bartenders do their best to treat you like you don't exist and then act like you're inconveniencing them when you order something, then this is the place for you! I wasn't sure about B-ROX after our first visit, and it would be best to just be as honest as possible in this case. The restaurant is nice and clean, and the open area is nice to sit in on warmer nights so the big doors can be open while the fans inside are going. Our waitress was nice, but it was a football night, so it got increasingly loud from about 8-10pm; it got a little frustrating to talk to each other. Our waters came in small pitchers, which was fun, and we didn't need to keep asking for refills. The cheesy bread appetizer was outstanding since the dough was homemade, so I can see another visit for an appetizer night. The Philly cheesesteak wasn't too big, but the club sandwich was gigantic. We were very dissatisfied with the fries that came out very salty, and I noticed the ham on my sandwich was on the saltier side as well. I think I would go back a different night for appetizers, and maybe split an entree with my party. read more

Just to be clear, the service was wonderful. Our server I believe was named Tara. She did a great job! So the service brought the rating up to a three star. The biggest problem was the food we were served. My husband went out on a limb and ordered one of their most popular dishes, the Ranchero Bowl- supposedly had Cheesy Grits and Beef etc.. You may or may not be able to tell by the picture but it is a very shallow bowl so he probably got a cup and a half of food. Very little meat and hardly any cheese grits!!!! My husband is NOT a big eater at all and that little bit of food for almost $15 did not fill him up!! Thankfully I got the Atlantic Cod Basket and was served three good size pieces of fish and so he was able to eat one of those. The cod basket had a side of coleslaw. It was about a teaspoon of coleslaw... I substituted onion rings for the french fries and they were very good. Actually the fish was good too. That was a good thing because as I mentioned my husband was still hungry after he finished his $15 bowl... On the plus side, the food came out nice and hot. Also the pop comes out in cute little pitchers- nice touch. I don't think I could convince my husband to go back. read more

My husband and I decided to try B Rox because we heard so many good things about this restaurant. So happy we went there. It was wing night so we decided to try the wings. These are honestly the best wings we have ever had. The service from Sam was amazing! She was at our table so promptly. The manager Steve came over to introduce himself and welcome us to B Rox. Have been going to this place for four years, ordered two pitchers and food. Multiple waitresses came over to check our ids and none of them said anything. Another waitress comes over with our checks and my food in a to go box after we had already been served and they said that they didn't feel comfortable serving us and said that there was an undercover and if anyone was underage to leave and none of us were underage but they told us we all had to leave. Do not go here the food sucks and the waitresses likewise. read more

This place Rox! Love that Brox is my neighborhood bar! The food is consistently good and the service friendly. It's a bit loud but that's cuz there's plenty of people who are regulars out socializing. Everyone is welcoming and we enjoy sitting at the bar or meeting up with friends. The menu is upscale bar food with different options you'd typically see... several are healthy for those looking for that. They have weekly schedule of events to entertain. Great hangout! read more

Went on a Sunday during a browns home game and there was plenty of seating to watch the game from anywhere in the restraunt. The waitress was also bartending and was still very diligent when serving us and was quick. We have been there twice. The first time we tried to call in an order to no avail. It's not far from home so we drove there and mentioned we couldn't get through on the phone. Turns out the phone was off the hook. Owner just said thanks and that was it. The luau pork over rice was great. It had the perfect amount of heat in my opinion. The chili is also another favorite. Gator bait a bit pricey for the amount you get. Overall, we will go back. read more

I got a smash burger from here and it was delicious. The smash burger was exactly as advertised. A little crispy on the edges as a smash burger should be, moist and delicious on the inside. The Cheese was fully melted on the edges. It was a welcome change from the traditional burger places. They took their time with the burger to do it right. Good Service, good food, good times. We love it here! I really can't say enough good things. They have a great, very reasonable bourbon selection. I love their smoky, maple old fashion served with bacon. Food wise, there hasn't been anything I haven't liked. Check out their weekly specials. My personal favorites are the burger and wing nights. If you like shrimp and grits, I highly recommend the big shrimp and grits bowl. It is very fun atmosphere, and the staff is great! read more

Haven't been here since it was H. Buffalo. They have a great setup for bands (Big In Japan was incredible). Food was very good with some different options and the signature cocktails were great. Great to put this local bar back into my stable of options. Will DEFINITELY catch more live music here. read more
