Five guys has always been a solid place to get a burger. The fries are on point and the place as a whole is a fun experience. The staff at the location doesn't seem to really want to be there which I get it but come on guys you can do better. It smells great in there and it has a good vibe. The fact that the price is outrageous is the reason I'm leaving this review. The burgers and fries are... good yes. But once you pay to take your lady out and its $50 for a meal at a fast food place it will have you wondering why you didn't just go to McDonalds for easily half the cost. The BACON CHEESE BURGER was just okay, I expected something great, it was rather flavorless. The french fries were very SALTY, I eat very little salt and these were over salted. I could not eat them. In Pa. there is no eating in restaurants so we were going to just get some burgers to go. My friends had never had a Five Guys experience and heard the French fries were exceptional. We went in and ordered with masks on, got a double burger with everything on it to split with my sister and a small fries. Plenty of food; as a matter of fact the burger had too much on it! I'd get a single next time; the fries that were crisp were good but the ones not...were just ok. Five guys is still a wonderful experience. It has wonderful service and food. However, the prices have continually raised. I did a double take when I saw the additional price from my last arrival for a Little bacon cheeseburger(see old pictures for previous costs and times). It was $7.29 today. The regular bacon cheeseburger is about ready to hit $10($9.39). When the burger hits $10, I will be curious to see how customers adapt. I have a prediction that they may have or will soon go beyond the limits of what the customer will be accept in this area. I believe routine customers will become occasional customers and you will lose many patrons since the value of service, quality, and cost will not be aligned for what customers need in a dining experience. For example, quality of the food, the added milk shakes, or Customer Service will not compensate for all of the flavors missing in the Coca Cola freestyle machine. People will expect more because of the cost and the business model won't be able to match it. Customers will notice these small things more when their basic requirements are not met. I made a special trip to come today but modified my order upon seeing the new prices. No five dollar+ hotdog for me to add to the order today. If I had come with my family I would've politely eaten, but I would probably then not come back for an extended period of time as my wallet would have been empty. This is an interesting time with businesses and this is definitely solid food but the overall value is askew. I know this manager is trying to keep the prices down for this area. I was very pleased with my burger! I decided to get mines wrapped in lettuce. It's easily saves you a 100 calories or so, it was still delicious!!! The staff is super friendly! I landed on the cheese burger it had two patties i opted to have the " no bun". It was a failed attempt to save calories, so yeah I i wont be doing that again. these burgers are huge and juicy and you need all the help you can get to enjoy them including some bread! the staff was very friendly, helpful and patient. My Family and I spent about 43.00 dollars for meals to feed 4 people so not to bad i guess. I really did enjoy the burger and we over did it on the fries the burgers are so huge f you can share a fry, well share a fry order, save yourself the wasted food. This is one of the best "chain" burgers you will ever get, or maybe even just the best burger. All of the ingredients are fresh, never frozen, cooked to order and delicious. This is a gluten free-friendly place and they will gladly make your burger without the bun, wrapped in lettuce. They only serve burgers and fries here, so there's no issue with gluten contamination in the fryer, so feast away on the fries! However, the fries are cooked in peanut oil and there is a lot of peanut in the air here, so steer clear if you are allergic to them. Don't forget that a "hamburger" is actually 2 patties and if you just want a single, get the "little" one! A small fry is more than enough for 1 person. My fiance and I usually share a regular or each get a small if he wants the cajun ones, which are incredible. They also have one of those cool drink machines that lets you choose from hundreds if not thousands of different drink combos. Very cool! Also, the staff is SO friendly here! If you haven't been to Five Guys yet, you need to go right now. The burgers are delicious and all of the toppings are free. Make one however you want. The meat tastes delicious and the regular sized burgers come with two patties that would pass for ground beef you seasoned in your kitchen before throwing on the grill. The fries are fresh-cut fries and I highly recommend dousing them in Malt Vinegar for extra deliciousness. If you want a decent Coke, this is where you want to come. Well, all Coke products (Powerade, Coke, Dasani, Sprite, etc etc) They have the automated Coke machine that lets you put in a ton of different combinations of flavors with any drink of your choosing. Hands down best fast food burgers on the east coast. I love the consistency of the items that I order. Never anything less or more, just exactly what I want. If you ask, they can even forego the bread and wrap it all in lettuce. Of course this only makes it harder to eat, but I'm not one to say no to beefy juices dripping down my chin. read more

Seems to be better than before on cleanliness, and the food is pretty good, but seems to be not as good as it used to be. Beef seems dryer and patties smaller, but will give them some benefit of the doubt even though online buzz seems to partially (anecdotally) corroborate this. Nonetheless, the place is clean--big deal (most important thing in any restaurant, but virtually all fast food and too many chain sit-down places in Morgantown don't get this). Music is great. But, the tip jar shouldn't be there: the place provides no tippable services (I always take one star when this is the case--or if they nag for it on a screen, like Panera). It's expensive for what it is, but they need to focus on ensuring the patties are not too small, and that the cheese doesn't come cold on the burger (rush job). read more

My husband & I went for a casual dinner about a week ago. We ordered burgers & fries,nothing fancy. Even though it was busy,we got our food in a timely manner. The food was delicious & the customer service was good. The only issue we had was that most of the tables were in need of being cleaned off or wiped down. I stopped and found the food good, the Cajun Fries were excellent. Small quite, at least the day I was there, with a friendly staff. A family with a small child was there, the infant dropped a lot on the floor as soon as they left the table and floor was cleaned to almost spotless. This would be a 5 star review based solely on the food...the food is GREAT as has been the case at ALL 5 Guys I've been to...However, on a recent trip to this location I was greeted at the counter by a friendly guy who took my order and asked curiously about my coat. (It is a leather coat with the insignia of the band Insane Clown Posse's record label embroidered on the back, which is a thing of pride for me, so I was happy to tell him all about it...) I proceeded to fill my drink and wait for my food, food came up and I happily took my bag and headed for the door. I reached for the door handle when I heard the MANAGER tell her employee (The aforementioned friendly guy) "You see that S--- on the back of that guy's coat, anytime you see that, you know you're looking at a f------ loser who will never amount to anything in life..." I am used to getting negative reactions for my musical taste, it is what it is, but to be publicly disrespected like that is ridiculous. She could'nt have held her thought for 3 seconds until I was out the door at least??!!
