I recommend this restaurant to everyone for it is a well established restaurant that serves good quality food with good service and smiles. The ambiance is great for the restaurant and it's not too hard for me personally. It's a decent priced restaurant and the food goes quickly so it's best to go when they first open. I drove well into WV for a doctors appointment from out-of-state, and figured I'd make a day of it. Part of that was to find something unique and incredible to eat not available anywhere else. It took days of endless searching, but I finally came across this place; I knew immediately it was a must to try! I was pleased to find a public parking lot just a little ways from the establishment, which is a huge deal to me. Absolutely loved this place! I got their 4 piece fried chicken, half regular and half spicy. They cook the chicken on the spot instead of precooking it, so it's about a 15-20 minute wait but its well worth it. I also recommend trying the garlic mayo dipping sauce as its super flavorful. Dirty Bird was recommended to us by a fellow foodie, so after my root canal we ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich which was huge and a 4 pc chicken! It's back! I've heard so much of this place and it did not disappoint! I got the dirty bird and my boyfriend got the buffalo chicken sandwich. Both were really good. They were also huge. I was only able to eat a quarter of mine, but I'm excited to have leftovers to enjoy later. The chicken was so tender and juicy and I really liked the gravy. Been trying to eat here when I come to Morgantown for several years. Cute little inviting storefront on High Street. Problem was it was never open. This time sign on door said open at 11, but did not unlock the door until 11:35. Another couple standing in front told us to hang out, it's worth it. So we did. My chicken sandwich was amazing. Everything on the menu is delicious from the building size club sandwiches to the addictive mac and cheese. I recommend the chicken and waffles, however. Once I saw the Vera Cruz sandwich on yelp, I knew I had to try it. On my last day here in Morgantown, I hung around shops on high street waiting for Dirty Bird to open at 11 AM. TOTALLY WORTH IT.
