Food and service are always amazing. Friendly, quick, efficient staff. Good never disappoints in taste, portion and quality.

I was out doing errands and ordered ahead for pick up. I got there at the time that it said it was going to be ready. The first challenge was getting in the door. The door was stuck shut and took some effort to open. The inside of the restaurant was clean and smelled great. I went to the counter to pick up my order. They didn't even ask my name, and I was handed someone else's bag. I looked at the receipt and sure enough it wasn't. The guy on the grill noticed and asked my name. He said he was just finishing up my order. I get my bag, check the receipt and it matched what I ordered. I got home and dived into my burger. It was cooked perfectly, but it was lacking seasoning, and half the condiments that I requested. I ordered the small fry, and as usual, they filled half the bag up with the fries. Unfortunately, the were soggy, lacked seasoning and limp. Nobody likes a limp french fry. I've eaten here several times before and its always hit the spot. Not this time, though. I was disappointed and felt a little ripped off, considering how much I paid for it. read more

I've been going to this 5 guys for years. And lately the service is gone to absolute shit. Tonight, I ordered a plain burger and fries. I got a cheeseburger covered in shit. Now, I have to drive 15 min home, find out they fucked up. Drive 15 min back. I get there and ask for the right food. No apology, no concern for my inconvenience. Nothing. Here's your burger and get the fuck out. Service is dead. And this place is part of the stench from the rotting corpse. Next time it's Burger King. read more

Even better, order and pay through the app and you can specify exactly what you want and how much or how little! I ordered take out for the first time here. This place is definitely a busy one. If you plan on orderinging. Make sure you bring entertainment. Peanuts and wall articles can't hold you for so long. I will say that the bacon cheeseburger is worth the wait. Double patty cooked on the griddle, American yellow cheese , lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo and ketchup with toasted bun. All together it was delicious and juicy. The fries however are not great. I appreciate fresh cut fries, but only when it's properly cooked. It was a bag of soggy oily fries. That said, I recommend the burger, just not the fries here. read more

They didn't give me my toppings but put it on the receipt. I oredered a little bacon cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard, relish, grilled onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. The cheeseburgers are great they're your usual at home on the grill burger which I'm assuming is what keeps people coming back. The familiarity of it all. This location In particular could've been a bit cleaner. Most of the tables still had crumbs from the people before. One of them employees got upset because we asked for fresh fries. The fries we were given originally were soggy and cold. When she made the new batch she called out the order number, waved the fries in the air, and slammed them on the counter. You might look at my rating for Five Guys and say, "Hey Chris, I thought you hated chain restaurants. How could you give it four stars!?" To this, I would respond, "Listen jerk, don't judge me. I don't mind chain restaurants, if they're good, but most of them are not." As the child of a working mother and father, I grew up on fast food and ate at chain restaurants almost daily during my formative years. Sure, the result was a portly, 12-year-old geek with bacne, but my point is that I would be a hypocrite to claim that "chain restaurants are the devil" or "I'd never eat at a fast food joint." I simply prefer, now that I am an older, wiser, bacne-free geek, to eat at local establishments for their higher quality ingredients, personalized service, new/exciting menu items, and contribution to the local economy. I continue to consume Chipotle burritos, McDonalds fries, CF cheesecake, and Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwich, on occasion. Furthermore, I think a bucket of fried chicken is heaven on earth and I frequently go to Panera for a quick lunch. I'm not embarrassed to say I'm a big fan of Five Guys. Though I know it's all part of the marketing strategy, I like that all the toppings are free, the beef is fresh (not frozen), and there's a chalkboard telling customers where the potatoes came from. On top of that, I honestly think they make a damn good burger. The bacon cheeseburger (with everything + A1 and hot sauce) and fries are two of my favorite splurge foods and I often find myself craving them late at night. The bonus fries shoveled into the bottom of the bag are always a nice surprise at the end of the meal. As mentioned by previous reviewers, the Henrietta Five Guys is more expansive than a lot of the other locations out there. There is plenty of parking and there's hardly ever a line. The workers always seem to be in good spirits and the decor is typical Five Guys red and white. I know I can get better burgers with more creative ingredients at other restaurants, but for a fast, satisfying meal of burger + fries, Five Guys is where it's at. read more

This was my first time eating at five guys in my 2.5 years living in Rochester and I must say this burger was so good lol! As you walk in there are 2 rows of boxes with peanuts which you can help yourself to. Never seen that before!! I got the bacon cheese burger and my bf got just the cheeseburger. The bacon doesn't add much so I wouldn't bother next time. But the burger was thick and juicy and makes me remember how good a simple burger can be. I really appreciated that their fries still had the skin on. They were crispy and not too salty. I can see myself eating at five guys when I just want a simple yet indulgent meal. read more

Actually haven't been here in some time. At first I was thinking after trying smash burger that they beat out five guys. Until a few days ago when my boyfriend said he had never had five guys?!!!!! What!! I could not pass the opportunity to watch his face on his first bite. It was worth it! I was reminded how yum the burgers are and the ridiculous amount of fries you get. I ordered one order of a large fry and was able to split it between 3 people. The price is great too! I subtracted 2 stars due to the bun was a little soggy and the order wasn't ready when we got there even though we were 10 minutes past the time of the time we needed it ready. read more

The wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch and ended up spending $31. I ordered a cheese burger and a cheese dog and we split a large fry. And we both had drinks Wife ordered a hamburger. It came out with cheese. Had to send it back, they did make a new one pretty quickly for her though. The food was very good but definitely not worth $30 on lunch. read more

It's definitely one of the best Five Guys locations I've been to. The burgers are as good as you expect and the fries are just as delicious. It's in quite a very convenient loaction across from the Doubletree Hotel... so a lot of visitors (such as myself) can get their fill of Five Guys burgers and fries. Yuck. Yuck. So my boy convinced me to go here for a burger since we didn't get one the other night, promising me it was good. I've never been so disappointed with a piece of meat. And fries. Ok so Five Guys, I wasn't expecting much. But I will def never go back. First off the place was gross. Every table was filthy, covered with food and garbage. And the floors were the same. The music was so loud, I felt like I was in a bar. And the place was so cold I never took my jacket off. It must have been about 55 degrees in there. My burger had no taste. The toppings slipped on and the cheese wasn't even melted on it, it was still a piece of sliced deli cheese. No seasonings, the burger just tasted like nothing. Nothing. And they fried were so over salted I could only eat about 4 and wouldn't touch them. And I do love my salt. Nope. Not going back. McDonalds has my ticket for fast food burgers. Ok. First of all, I am kicking myself for missing having a 1st Review by a few days!!! Calming, calming, calm. So, Five Guys. As a former resident of the DC Metro area, Five Guys is not just an institution, it's the holy land of burgers. And it is a well deserved moniker. Let's give a bit of context for Rochester's first Five Guys and just how monumental this was when it opened last fall. I was driving home and saw a sign on the old bank building over at the Tops/Marketview Liquor Plaza. It was partially blocked by a tractor trailer that was beside my car, but the "UYS" that I saw in unmistakable red block letters was enough to start my heart to racing and I immediately cross into the next lane and pulled in! Pure excitement. I delayed my gratification for a few days in order to properly partake of the burger bliss...you gotta prepare yourself. At this point you're wondering why I've given this Five Guys 4 instead of 5 stars...hold on! I'm gettin' to it!. Went to work and made a speech in Morning Report in my best Obama impersonation, proclaiming that we as Americans had a duty to go to Five Guys for lunch that very day. For those present that had any doubt of the possibility of tasting a burger so perfect that your taste buds nearly pass out...I said to them "Yes We Can!" Anyway, burgers are damn good (little bacon cheeseburger, with pickles, ketchup, mustard and jalapeno peppers is my standard...then I pile fries onto the burger and add more ketchup...picked up that delicious trick from my best friend in 3rd grade. God bless you Jamie Hartin). Fries are wonderful (regular cajun fry...add the malt vinegar and dip in Heinz). So why the 4 stars? Well, this particular Five Guys is pretty good but it is no DC area Five Guys. I've personally watched fry cooks there flatten out the burger meat with press...a huge no-no. The fries are plentiful but you order a regular size fry in Alexandria, VA and you get damn near a full bag. In fact, at the King St. Five Guys I've witnessed a cup being put into bag and a half a bag of fries thrown on top...and that was just the first scoop! Spendid. Ok...let me wrap it up. Rochester's first Five Guys is good. Even better for those that haven't been to one of the originals. But overall as a rule, Five Guys gets better and gets more stars, the closer one gets to DC. If it were just the food, I'd be giving them 3, maybe even 4 stars. BTW, I'm reviewing the place on Ridge Rd. in Webster, but since it's a chain, I'm sure they're all pretty much the same. I went in and ordered one of their bacon burgers, small fries, and a Coke. This order set me back a whopping $10.45, more than you'd pay for a burger at a diner, so I was hoping that it would be the BEST burger in the world (god knows for THAT much, it d@mn well oughtta be!). I sat down on one of the plain, hard, uncomfortable seats and waited for my number to be called, while listening to Led Zepplin being played at nearly ear-splitting volume. Heck, I didn't even like this song too much when it was new! Finally, after they went through about 1/2 of that album, my number was called, so I went up to get it. $10.45 for a lunch, and they have the nerve to only serve it in a BAG?? WTF?? I asked for a tray, and he said "We don't got none." So, like a farmhand on lunch, I took my bag of food and sat down, expecting to be dazzled by the food. Unfortunately, it was a better-than-average burger, along with better-than-average fries, but nothing THAT special (certainly not '$10.45 special'...). The Led Zepplin kept on blasting (I think it was LZ3, the whole friggin ablum they played!), and the hard seat kept getting more and more uncomfortable. The decor of the place even disappoints-tiles on the floors and walls, cheap, hard chairs, wobbly tables, and many, many 100lb bags of potatos (???!!!) stacked in the middle of the d@mn floor. Crap, I love the burgers here. This chain first started in the DC metro area where I grew up...and I've loved them ever since. It's hard to explain what's so freaking good about them. My guess is the grease. The burgers aren't particularly lean. They're salty and seasoned and just delicious. The French fries are out of this world. If you go, get a bacon cheeseburger. And you don't need the full order. It will probably be too much (unless you're starving). This is my favorite fast food burger. No questions. We don't have access to In N' Out but this suffices nicely. read more

Questionable music tastes. Adequate burger and fries. To him? Oh good golly, it's nearly the second coming of our Lord and Savior! The fricken' regular burger has TWO megga beef patties! (Go with the junior, ladies, otherwise you'll hate yourself!) The moans and groans my husband makes while demolishing the burger causes me to blush. "So tasty!" "So juicy!" "So meaty...no chemical residue or other fillers, just good ole ground beef." "Honey, isn't it delicious?!" How many potatoes does that place burn through? We must have been given nearly a pound on our own. Hot...very hot, and salted french fires. Again, the husband boasts: "Now THIS is a french fry. Pure. Unadulterated. Delicious!" The bacon was crisp, the cheese was melted and thick, the mushrooms and onions were glistening chunks that added even more texture. For a chain, this is delicious, fast takeout or quick sit down. Five Guys is now my standard for what a really great cheeseburger should be. They whop Bill Gray's butt and they make Charlie Brown's and others a distant second as well. True, they don't understand the concept of hot sauce. That's a sacrilege here in Rochester, NY where I'm from. I didn't know what the heck hot sauce was when I moved here a year ago. That strange combination of meat sauce on top of meat seemed really strange. Then it became a passion. We once spent an entire day with friends driving to more than 16 burger joints in own, having a fourth of a burger at each to determine what was really the best burger in Rochester (sadly, that place is gone and replaced by a really crappy Mexican restaurant but that's another story). But if you order a cheeseburger from Five Guys with relish, onions, mustard, ketchup, and hot sauce (their hot sauce is Tabasco or a version thereof) it really is the gooiest, messiest, greasiest burger that you'll ever love. I challenge you to it down after you take one bite. And of course the fries. The fries are a cut above (pun intended) the crap you get at the other burger joints here in Rochester. And the beauty about Five Guys is that their burgers taste the same no matter where you get them - a greasy McDonalds. Had one in Washington National Airport while we were on layover for a flight and damn if it wasn't just as good as anything I've had elsewhere.
