What is it? I don't get what others see in this place. My second attempt to enjoy FG, Reno and Yuma. Way overpriced! My burger with all the free condiments was a bust. I ordered it with pickles, jalapeños and bbq sauce. I got it with pickles , green bell peppers, and a coloring of sauce. To-go so no returning it. $21 plus for a burger, a shake, and a soda. That's crazy. My standard for any place I try...would I come back? The answer is NO! I broke my own rule only because it was in walking distance of the hotel. I love five guys, the employees are always so nice and friendly; even when making order over the phone. They have the best burgers, I refuse to eat a burger from anywhere else. Five Guys is SO GOOD. It is definitely a top contender for my favorite burger of all time. I love how fresh the food always tastes. This restaurant in particular has the best fries! We just got the regular fries and not Cajun (we love the Cajun but our toddler does not...) and the regulars were so perfectly salted that I didn't even miss the other seasoning. Beware, the hamburger and cheeseburger on the menu are both double patty sandwiches and are so big!!! The fries are a huge serving too. I always order the little cheeseburger (the one patty is still a thick patty by itself) and then my family splits a large fry amongst us. They also have fresh peanuts for you to put in baskets and take to your table and eat with your meal or while you wait on your food. It's prepared fresh so it does take a minute, but when we were there the last couple of times on weeknights it was not busy and took well less than 10 minutes both times. Oh, I almost forgot- my husband is a fan of their milkshakes, so those are also worth a try! I've literally never strayed from the burgers on the menu to try a hotdog but I bet they are also tasty. I think I have been judging this place on the wrong scale. They are good in the world of huge burger and fries in q brown paper bag. I thought I'd use the mobile ordering app to be able to pick up the food with my family for a nice Sunday dinner, but little did I know that their estimated order pick up was not even a little bit accurate. After checking in and waiting more than 20min after we got in the restaurant, everyone waiting had emptied and we were the only ones left. Seven total employees working and not one checked on our order or apologized for the wait. It'll be a long time before I go back, too bad because they have great burgers and my family enjoys it. Yes, "I'm a fan" after only one visit to this location. Was in the area with friends and we opted to give it a shot here for dinner. Our individual orders were made in a timely manner. We all were very pleased with what we ordered. My bacon cheeseburger, with my selected condiments, came out perfectly! It was fresh, warm and tasty! I did not realize that these burgers, the ones we ordered, were double patties - BURP! The fries were okay, although I prefer them to be a tad more crispy. That did not stop me from eating them (all) - BURP! One of my friends liked them so much he ordered another batch to go. The burgers are over $6 for a single patty no cheese because that's extra and although they offer a variety of toppings at no charge, the patty itself is lacking real flavor! Don't go to the Yuma Arizona location! They have a bunch of hoodlums working with no supervision. I walked in with my wife and she immediately got starred down like a peice of meat (my wife's hot). There supposed adults are jumping around and laughing like little girls. Zero tact or professional attributes about their workers at this local. I did not feel comfortable eating what I ordered with food handlers like that. So my wife and I threw our food away, wasted 20$, and left. Went here on the way to and on the way back from San Diego. I had been wanting to try it for a while after hearing all the amazing burger, but expensive burger stories. The stories are all true. The first time we went, I had a cheeseburger (the regular ones are doubles, the smalls are singles). I only had a couple of toppings and thought it was alright. We had the salted fries which weren't that great, but were ok. The second time around I got more toppings and the small bacon cheeseburger. It was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I had the cajun fries, and they were fine, but not amazing. I would say this is my favorite burger place. There's a lot of comparisons to IN-N-OUT. I think this place is better, but while I think IN-N-OUT is a good burger I've never understood why people think it is as great as they do. The problem here is it gets expensive. My wife and I have been waiting to go to the newly opened 5 Guys. We loved going to 5 guys in Savannah, GA and are so happy to see one made it to Yuma. My wife ordered a small cheeseburger and I ordered a small cheeseburger with a regular fries and a regular soda. They tried to upsell me with another soda and another order of fries.I passed it up. We wanted to wash our hands before we ate and saw a line of about 5 men and women waiting to go into the single stall restrooms. We didn't feel like waiting that long just to wash-up so we just skipped it. Our food came out and my burger was wrong it was a regular cheeseburger not a small cheeseburger. Five guys simply has great burgers and awesome fries. They are not trying to muddle up the menu with anything else. It rivals In-N-Out in taste and quality. While waiting for our order, we helped ourselves to free peanuts. The shells ended up on the floor which I guess is the new thing for casual restaurants. I think there's no drive-thru to give the customers this total experience. I got completely full off my meal. We ordered three burgers, large fries (to share) and a drink. I think this place is crazy expensive for a fast food restaurant. A regular hamburger comes with two patties though so if you aren't that hungry get a small size. Also, the french fries are enough to feed two people. My son got the cajun flavored fries- he loved them and I didn't care for them. So one regular burger, one regular fries and a drink- $12!!!! Huge shoutout to the staff at Five Guys! It had been quite a few years since we ate at a Five Guys. Upon walking in the door we were joyfully greeted with "welcome to the second happiest place on earth". My husband ordered a burger and fries then I proceeded to order a hotdog and fries. The young lady behind the counter informed us that the regular fry was enough for 2-3 people. And I'm so glad we listened to her and cancelled my fry. The truly awesome part is she didn't have to tell us that. She could have proceeded to let us order 2 regular fries and end up with way more then we could eat. But she didn't and in my opinion that's excellent customer service (which is often rare in this town). Our food was fresh and cooked perfectly. They even play great music.
