Totally overdue (visited back on 4/22/22), but I want to make sure that an awesome experience was accounted for because of the overall excellent customer service and quality of the establishment gets credit. The ease of creating a reservation on the Five Iron Golf website was convenient. I especially appreciated the transparency of their policies, such as clearly outlining the necessity to have 2 golf simulation bays for groups larger than 7 people. For off-peak hours on a Friday, I paid $150 for 2 bays for 1.5 hours before service gratuity and tax. Day before the reservation, I got a friendly reminder via email. The day of, about an hour before our time slot, I got a call from a host (Clay) confirming details. Clay also helped us get setup on the bays, helped by Kyle later on as our area's main host/server. Totally chill and friendly vibe from those 2. My cousins certainly appreciated Kyle's ability to help them change simulation games, and make lighthearted fun of our group's golf skills (or lack thereof). I can't account for food because we didn't order any, but I liked the general variety of alcoholic beverages. I always love it when local brews are available - just shows community support. Cousins enjoyed the cocktails even if they were on par with expectations (strictly poured mixes) so they don't get sloshed unless they ordered a ton of drinks. The variety of games available on the simulation was great too! LOL. For someone that doesn't golf at all, I liked trying the beginner level material. Didn't realize until we got there that were other games outside of golf simulators available for party-goers. By the end of me and my family's experience, it's now a request to revisit with my cousins again before the summer's end. Great spot to keep visiting family entertained in the Area 15 complex, and it was reasonably priced compared to other golfing experiences in Vegas. read more

Five iron is located inSide Area 15 in the second level. They have a bar but food is from their downstairs restaurant Called the beast. I was disappointed the ac was not working today and management didn't think to maybe run over to lowes and get some fans to help out because were in Vegas and moving around but I guess it beats being outside in the Vegas heat. I was also disappointed that even with our reservation ahead of time they were running a little behind-10-15 minutes. The FOOD is not ran by five iron but downstairs will hand deliver your food to your booth rental. Other than that the rest of the time was super fun. We brought our kids and hit in the virtual range and then opted to play a silly virtual game. It was also awesome because you could give the game a double boost of distance for the game. Located in Area 15, this is their answer to the Top Golf craze. Here instead of a driving range, you are in a booth with a projector screen, which is what you are hitting into. It tracks all types of metrix of the ball off the club. It also gives you video game feel of where your ball went on the screen. The offer many real courses to play on, games, or just a driving range. We played pebble beach, and by the 9th hole we were hitting par's. So it is easier then real golf. Also, no putting. Food and drinks here, just like everyplace in Vegas! Had some cauliflower wings that were fire. They had about maybe a half dozen booths, so I can see it getting crowded. Upstairs at Area 15. This was our second five iron location that we have been to. Fantastic all around experience. We actually went in for an iron fitting for my wife. Sean (head pro) was awesome to work with. He gave great tips and made the whole experience wonderful. He also spent time on putters and drivers. If you have never been fitted, I would highly recommend coming here and working with him. He is not pushy. We did not buy any clubs but left with all of the specs and recommendations. We then stayed and played for a few hours in one of the bay. We ordered food and drinks too. The irons they use are mizunos. They have different drivers that you could swing. All in all, a fantastic experience. read more

This place is a hidden gem. It is awesome the trackman simulation never froze and it was worth the money. The staff was very friendly and explained how to use the machine and they had every course including different games to play. If i could give this place 0 stars I would. Employee Kyle was super rude. My family and I felt discriminated by him and racially profiled. His behavior was super unprofessional. When we arrived we requested a table and they told us if no one showed up that we could take it. No one did so we got it...great right? No! We got seated by another employee (forgot his name) who was super friendly that took our family photo. He sat us down and gave us our equipment. Kyle appeared out of nowhere with a snotty look and asked us do you guys have a reservation? After we told him yes, he left. Only for him to return again staring us down and watching our every move. He walked back to our area a few minutes later and seen that we had 3 bags which we originally received when we were seated. He took one away saying we didn't need that many bags. Minutes later he comes back with his snotty look and tells us we had to leave cause there was too many people in our space. Mind you there was the same amount of white men right next to our party. We told him when we were originally seated the other employee didn't mention anything to us, he's answer oh he's new and doesn't really know what the rules are. As we were leaving we complained to our original host and he said that he wasn't new and was very apologetic for Kyle's behavior. He offered us a discount for our next return but we were so upset we left. My family and I are from Hawaii and will never return to this establishment again. Pilau! This place is the best!!! I've been here twice since they have opened and both times were fantastic. My wife and I took our two boys, 10 and 12, during the day a few months back and everybody had such a good time! The staff was so accommodating and the atmosphere was perfect. They both ask when they can back to play golf and run around in the Area15 arcade. It's nice to have a place you can take the family off the Vegas strip. We returned last month, without the kiddos to celebrated a few of our friends birthdays. In true Vegas fashion we arrived around 11:00 pm and our reserved areas were ready and waiting! Another excellent time and service! Think Dave N Busters but with golf and really good service! Day time for the kids, night time for the adults! The music was pumping and the staff does such a great job of making sure you are enjoying yourselves. Drinks and mixers stayed full. Food was quick to arrive! We took the kids to check out area 15. My husband wanted to check this place out. We decided to do an hour. The set up was nice and the hostess was happy to set everything up and get us going. When ordering drinks is where the service went down hill and fast. My husband ordered a beer it took a good 15-20 minutes to get a beer. It wasn't that busy at the time. One other group and a few people at the bar. Ordered a second beer and some drinks for the kids and I. We got my husbands second beer but no other drinks. So we decided to take our skills indoors. And let me tell you that choice was the best decision we've had... in our entire lives. The pure enjoyment I felt entering this building all the beautiful new equipment shiny as could be. The choice of irons unimaginable. The screens so bright. I found Five Iron golf while looking for indoor golf lessons (during the summer) on a Las Vegas trip. I booked a 3 person group lesson with Sean, one of the instructors here. Sean helped all three of us: my first-time-golf friend who swings a club like a lumberjack, my coordinated but somewhat tentative swinging wife, and my slicey/drawey self. No joke, Sean is the best golf instructor out of 10+ instructors I've taken lessons from. I'll be telling friends to come here if they want to get better. Jacob and Clay pay a lot of attention to detail, they have great positive conversations with people, they really make the place feel welcomed. My wife found this place in lieu of top golf. At first I was hesitant, but I said why not give it a try. It was the best decision I made that day. The staff here are super friendly and attentive. This is a place for avid golfers and you can actually play a whole round of golf instead of hitting golf balls in the range. We even tried the golf private lesson and I kid you not Sean did such a phenomenal job. He is super patient and changed my swing for the better. I've had golf lessons before, but Sean quickly debunked a lot of them. This guy is legit, and he knows what he's talking about. I will definitely be returning here when I go back to Vegas. The staff has always been warm and welcoming even if we are just in and out for lessons. We went once just to have some fun and hit and it was cool too.
