I love when two older women go into a restaurant and just drink water and a few HH apps and are treated wonderfully. Thank you Melissa for being a doll. Not too smoky so that was great. I usually have great experiences in most places and give good reviews, but this is a bad review I had to write due to having a bad experience. The food was decent, but the service was really bad, like really bad! Customer Service: The staff was okay. My friends and I went to Sierra Gold around late lunch/early dinner time. The restaurant was honestly really dead, with a few other customers. We were probably the biggest group that went to the restaurant at the time. The food took a while to come, the servers gave one of my friends food earlier than what she wanted, the servers took so long to get us to go boxes that one of my other friends literally went to the bar to get us some. Food/Drinks: Sierra Gold had a good variety of food & drink selections. I ordered the baked soft pretzel bites as my appetizer, and I had pub classics sliders with a side of tater tots. The portion of the pretzel and cheese was huge, so one order is definitely good for at least 2 people. I did appreciate the fact that they had a variety of potatoes as your side, such as the choice of sea salt fries, twister fries, or golden tots. Overall Experience: Overall, I had an okay experience at Sierra Gold. The food and drinks were the best thing about the visit. The service, on the other hand, is not so much, unfortunately. I'm not sure how Sierra Gold can improve as a restaurant & business. Maybe having the servers be more attentive to their customers, especially when it is dead? Bailey was an incredible server today for our business lunch meeting upstairs. We initially moved areas for our meeting to the upstairs area so it could be quieter. Bailey handled everything professionally and in such a positive manner. She quickly brought us drinks and appetizers and constantly checked in on us. She had such a great attitude that was much appreciated. I ordered the steak and scampi, which was delicious! The steak was cooked just how I ordered. The shrimp was so tasty, and the scampi sauce was so great! It came with a lemon, which was a great touch to the meal, even the bread so good! I wanted more, ha ha ha! What a great experience. Have been to Sierra Gold "SG" numerous times over the past 5 years and recently joined some colleagues for a meeting held upstairs in a private party room. There is a bar located at the back of the room and plenty of options to accommodate a large group. We had over 30 people and had plenty of space. The bar food is good and reasonably priced, especially during happy hours. Gaming machines located at the bar and tons of TV's showing all the sports you could want. Like every bar everyone is minding their own business. No one pays attention to anyone. They are here strictly to gamble.. We sat at dining are for 6 person table. I had a blue moon draft which was super fresh. We also had chicken parmesan pizza which was very good. Maybe even better than pizza place. This was my first time at this Sierra Gold location off the 215/Jones exit. I had a social event that was hosted at the Sierra Gold. There are plenty of parking spaces available at around 11:30 on a Wednesday morning. I wasn't sure where the private event space was, so I had approached one of the team members at Sierra Gold. I was informed that the entrance to the event space was near the restrooms. From there, you could take the stairs to the second level inside Sierra Gold. Inside the event space, there were plenty of circular tables, decorated, for the event. TVs were situated throughout the area, and in the middle, there was a projector to display images, videos, etc. from your laptop. The event was catered through Sierra Gold, buffet style. The food options we had were the following Caesar Salad Chicken Parmigiana Veggie Bake Broccoli and Cheese Sauce Scallop Potatoes Chocolate Brownie Chocolate Chip Cookies I ended up eating the Chicken Parmigiana and the chocolate chip cookie. The chicken was delicious! There was plenty of marinara sauce and cheese topped on the chicken breast. The breading was a little soft since it was sitting in the container for a while. The chocolate chip cookie was slightly burnt on the bottom, but you could still taste the chocolate chip morsels! The team members were helpful and friendly. Sierra Golds is still my favorite local establishment. They've got a slightly different menu lately with the introduction of specials during football game days. My favorite servers have left but the current staff seems to do a good job. It's great when the servers come by 10 minutes before happy hour ends to ask if there are any last minute orders. read more

We happen to be in that area after just placing my father-in-law in the hospice care down the street and needed something to eat that was close. So we popped in there we were seated immediately, the restaurant and bar are really nice inside. We were immediately greeted by our waitress who took our drink orders. We were just gonna share a couple of appetizers so when she placed our drinks on the table, she took our order. The food came out fairly quickly and tasted great! Sierra Gold is a big place so come here and hangout with your troop! There are big screen TVs around the bar and in the other parts of the restaurant. There's an ATM machine inside so you won't run out of cash while trying your luck at the slot machines. The interior is mostly dark wood so it gives off this nice, cozy ambience. Nice, comfy chairs! It's also clean and not a hint of cigarette smoke this time but unsure if I just got lucky today. They have good food options but not having any this time as it's just a quick stop. I came here for a WNBA semifinals watch party, and our group had an awesome time! We paid to rent out the upstairs private party room, and while expensive, it was worth every penny. We had about 45 women's pro basketball fans in attendance and with the room rental, 20% gratuity, non-alcoholic drinks, and a hot buffet, we paid $48 per person. Not too bad, considering what we got! The private party room is upstairs (there's an elevator if anyone in your party needs an accessible entrance), and restrooms are conveniently located right outside the party room door. The room itself is very large, with plenty of room and lots of tables. There's even a private bar. Since we were there to watch a live sporting event, I was a little disappointed to see that while the room had plenty of televisions, they were pretty small. There was one large drop-down screen, but the location isn't the best because while it's on a center front wall, it's directly underneath half a dozen very bright recessed lights, which washes out the color on the screen. These are not optimal viewing conditions. I asked if they could turn out the lights directly above the screen, but then the entire room would be dark. Pretty big fail for a party room. The food was really good, and the woman who organized everything for our group personally selected the food items. We had a nacho bar, chicken wings, pulled pork sliders, veggie spring rolls, potato skins, and mini cheesesteak sandwiches. The food was really yummy (typical bar food), and Sierra Gold knows how to feed a hungry crowd! The trays NEVER went empty -- and we ate a LOT. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, and we had excellent bar service. Of course all of us brought along more cash to tip the bartender and to pay for the alcoholic drinks. They also let us bring in desserts (a cupcake and cookie tray) as well as decorations. I really liked the private party room here, and I would book future events here. I forgot our servers name but she was very sweet and accommodating with making sure we had a big enough draft board. We come for an industry meeting once a month and we always have the best service and the food is usually great! It's not like one of those "rubber chicken" lunches. We have a buffet set up. There's always a nice salad, a protein or 2, a couple of options for veggies and Potato or rice. And always desserts , sometimes fruit and some cookies or cakes. We never leave hungry. This week was a Thanksgiving lunch with both ham and Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, salad, rolls, green bean casserole and chocolate cake for dessert. I've been here a few times for networking events and the bar is clean and spacious. Parking is easy. Food is what I would expect and I've always enjoyed my meals, including the mozzarella sticks. My Mai Tai was yummy too. Service is friendly, but can be challenging because we recently had a big party and it's hard to keep track of everyone and the orders. I don't really like how they keep my card while I drink and eat. I would just rather order and pay up front than have my card held. Next time I'm there, I'll just recommend that instead. read more

Horrible service. We have come here twice for football on Sundays, and Britney has been our bartender both times. It takes 10-15 minutes before she even acknowledges us. When asking for another beer she rolls her eyes. When my husband was moving the pizza tray she went "pspsps" at him to get his attention like he's a cat?? She is extremely unfriendly. I worked with Stephanie via email a few times to get all the details and confirmations about the party. My party was supposed to be about 100 guests, but turned out to be about 40 at the last week because the guests that were coming from California, was going through a fire and couldn't get away. No problem with that. We were assigned a smaller room. Stephanie is great, she always replied to my emails and gave me all the info I needed. Nov 10th, the day of our reunion party, I called to let them know that I will be a little bit late and not to worry because I have someone else showing up to greet the guests. The gal I spoke with didn't know anything about the party so she put me on hold to run upstairs to see if anything was noted. Can you imagine how worried i was? lol She came back and said not to worry and that they have 1 server coming in. ONE? I asked will that be okay? The gal reassured me that it won't be a problem. We had the East Lounge, which fit 30-40 of us comfortably. Norelle was our waitress and took all of our drinks, food, requests etc. by HERSELF. She was the only one scheduled to work and i'm sure she found out about the party when she clocked in. This girl was on point! She never showed any signs of being overwhelmed taking care of us and the rest of the restaurant/bar. She was fun to talk to, very personable and NEVER made a mistake with ANY of our orders! She even memorized the last names of everyone who started a tab...I think there were 17 (or more) that had a tab. Norelle even went above and beyond to help us take a group picture with ALL of our cell phones and 1 camera. She suggested we stand in front of this one area so we can all fit and have a nice background. :) Kudos for Sierra Gold for having such a gem on your team. I went here with a large group of people for a going away party for a co-worker. Considering, people were arriving at different times and the large number of us, service was really good. We only had one minor issue which was that one entree did not get entered but the waitress apologized and got the order in right away. Within the group, we tried a large amount of items: pizza, steak, pretzels, tacos, wings, etc. everything was good, better than I'd expect from a bar. The happy hour had really good prices, and the drinks were good. The bar itself is large and appeared clean. We were able to take up one corner section so it is good for groups (if you arrive early enough) as it did get busier later in the evening. read more

I bought a ticket to their Vegas Golden Knight player meet n greet with Jonathan Marchessault and when I arrived for some reason I wasn't on the list even though I had my ticket. They were very friendly and got the manager in charge of the event. she got my info and asked me to wait a few minutes while she looked into what was going on. she cane back in just a few minutes and was able to find me!
