a drink with gin and ginger. forgot the name--was it Ghost drink?

[[HIGHLIGHT]]ambience is nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] drinks were good and I questioned if there was any alcohol in it. But, did taste a bit of alcohol towards the end. also, you had to go to bar to order your drinks. cocktails were about $20. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a nice little place to grab some drinks and chat with your friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I didn't know about the secret menu until after. I guess more options than I thought.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a beautiful bar located in Area 15.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bartender was so nice. My drink was delicious and will definitely be going back to just chill.

Jeremy had the best customer service ! I have travelled all over the states and abroad ! Customer service is everything! This place will be a core memory now! He made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked up to the bar. We were a bit indecisive and Jeremy went through each drink explaining the flavors/contents. So much patience . We had a few drinks and not disappointed at all! Each drink was a show stopper and tasted amazing ! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the lit up cool tree in the center , the table and the whole entire vibe ![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] $20 bucks is about how much each drink costs which is fair. Visiting from Cali and we pay a bit more or around that price. We spent hours there and drank our drinks slowly because all the staff was sooo friendly . With so many choices in LV, this is a spot I'd return to. I'll be back and will recommend to anyone visiting LV! Give Jeremy a raise! Not everyone knows how to truly engage with customers as everyone is always on the go go ! 10/5 stars !

Decided to enjoy some pre-concert drinks here, especially since we got a discount with our concert tix at The Portal in Area 15. All I have to say is, wow, what a mess this bar is. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was mildly busy while we were here (on a Tuesday night), but nothing crazy. There were several seats at the bar, so we snagged 2 of them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There were 4 bartenders on deck, yet it took 9 minutes for us to get anyone's attention. Once we placed our drink order, it took a full 10 minutes to receive them. When we finished those, we then waited another 17 minutes before we were able to order 2 beers to go into The Portal music venue and closed out our tab. The ridiculously slow service was unreal, especially with 4 bartenders and a bar that was only about 1/2 full. The girl serving us was at least friendly, where the 2 male bartenders were just rude. For fun, we timed other patrons wait times for service lol seemed everyone waited about 10 mins for service and another 8-14 mins to receive their drinks. Insane. The drinks themselves were okay. I had the watermelon mule which was nice & refreshing, but I honestly couldn't taste any alcohol and the cup was so jam-packed with ice, I only had about 9 sips of drink. My husband had the Autumn Old Fashion, which although had a nice overall flavor and presentation, was pretty weak in comparison with other off and on-strip bars. For $20 a piece, these small weak drinks were rather disappointing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As for atmosphere, the light tree that you sit under is pretty cool... at first. Then you realize how annoying it is. The constantly moving and color changing lights made it so difficult to read the drink menu.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The lights also bounce off the reflective bar top which was honestly headache inducing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bar stools were also quite uncomfortable. We noticed a lot of patrons standing instead, now I know why.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Bummer that service sucked so much and the pricey drinks were so weak. As locals, we've been hitting up a lot of concerts in Area 15; now we know to avoid Oddwood before doors open. Discounted drinks aren't worth the hassle.

If you want to catch a drink before you are doing your adventures inside Area 15, come on by to Oddwood to enjoy some alcohol. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a pretty large bar with a huge magical tree in the middle.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I sat at the bar with a few friends and just had some drinks. Tried a lot of unique ones and sometimes just the normal black-label shots. Overall it is expensive but it is nice. Service was quick and the drinks were usually coming or someone would ask if we needed another! Have no qualms with the place and their drink names are unique!

Vibe check. I'm in awe with the pretty LED lights from the trees. I grabbed a drink and waited at the bar until it was time for me to go to Omega Mart. The staff were all super friendly. Music playlist was on point. I even Shazam some of the songs. Lively spot to be at. I ordered the watermelon mule and it did not disappoint. I loved it. They have a good variety of drinks!

Oddwood is the bar in the center of the main indoor area in Area 15, right after you walking past the huge skull in the doorway. Area 15 can be a bit crowded and hectic, but so far I have been to Oddwood twice, and it is a nice reprieve from the craziness. The noticeable feature is the big fantastical tree with all lights that decorates the entire bar area. The first time we were there was almost a year ago. It was a crowded afternoon at Area 15 and we felt a bit overwhelmed. We had also wanted to spend sometimes inside, as it was over 100 degrees outside, and we had been taking part in some of the outdoor exhibits. Anyway, we were able to grab a seat at a small table. The atmosphere was great between some electronic music playing and the lights of the tree, as well as the great service. I had two dragonfruit margaritas with black sea salt, and my husband enjoyed a couple of watermelon mules. The drinks were excellent. This recent time, we were waiting for a table at The Beast, which is the restaurant next door. It wasn't crowded, at all at Oddwood. We took a seat at the bar and ordered the same drinks directly from the bartender. They were just as good as I remembered. He put them in Area 15 cups for us so that we could bring them with us to the restaurant. If I am ever at Area 15 in the future, I will definitely stop at Oddwood. Perhaps I'll try a different drink to see what else they offer... or perhaps I will have to have that delicious dragonfruit margarita.

This was our first stop on our Area15 adventures. Drinks and small bites are available and our bartenders were super attentive. The best part about this bar is the tree that puts on a light show while you sit. Very fun to watch.

The atmosphere was amazing and the specialty drinks were interesting, but they were weak and all show. The service was good, but all these "up charges" are unnecessary and a turn-off.

Free styled drink that taste like starburst

We had Spencer make us drinks of his own and they were honestly so good!!! Definitely deserves to be on the menu. Ask him about the strawberry creme saver and his mango version too. It was so nostalgic!! We kept the drinks coming and were happy to pay the price. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

    Travis W.

Don't forget to bring extra cash because with the prices on these alien drinks you're gonna need it. But it's totally worth the experience of this truly out of this world-psychedelic trip you'll have under the glowing tree. Great service. Even greater ambiance.

Once I stepped foot inside and saw a completely packed house with an hour and a half wait and barely standing room at the bar, I knew it was worth whatever wait or process I had to go through. Ultimately I lucked out as an individual. I was able to snag a bar top seat pretty quickly and had I known then I was sitting down to what was going to be one of the best meals of my life, I would have been visibly more excited. Not only was the service absolutely top notch, the people and the regulars there were extremely friendly and outgoing. The vibe was perfect, a strange mix of a place that felt like it had been there for 200 years yet was somehow high energy and vibey. From a killer cocktail recommendation to one of the best steaks I've had in my life and coming from Oklahoma City, where I work a mile away from the stockyards and can get great quality fresh beef six ways from Sunday, that's saying a lot. I usually despise most things truffle but if I was forced to eat that truffle mac and cheese every day for the rest of my life I would consider it a life well lived. While I would have never ordered it on my own, a customer next to me recommended the porn star cocktail and I have to say it was also one of the most delicious things I've ever had in my life. Ten out of ten, top notch experience. Would recommend. Will be back every time I'm in Vegas, no questions asked.

As someone who loves all things quirky and unusual, The Golden Tiki has always been right up my alley. When a friend came into town and wanted to celebrate her boyfriend's birthday, I thought it would be the perfect place to kick off our evening. I was able to make an online reservation just a couple of days in advance, which was quick and painless. What I didn't realize was that they offer a weekday happy hour and live music! We were seated in "Bull***t Corner," which turned out to be the perfect spot. We had a great view of both the bar and the entertainment, making for a lively and entertaining atmosphere. Also, can't forget to mention the service. The hosts were fun but our actual server was absolutely hysterical and fit right in with the fun. She kept us laughing throughout our visit, while also being incredibly attentive. Despite the busy atmosphere, she made sure our drinks were flowing, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything was taken care of. It's not often you find someone who can be both entertaining and genuinely great at their job, but she pulled it off effortlessly. Our guests were genuinely impressed, and everyone had a fantastic time. The drinks were excellent as always--I honestly don't think I've ever had a bad cocktail here. I haven't had the chance to try their food yet, and we decided to stick with a few drinks since we already had dinner reservations elsewhere, but after this visit, I definitely plan on coming back on a weeknight to order from the food menu. If you're looking for a fun, unique Vegas experience with great drinks, and plenty of personality, The Golden Tiki is always a solid choice.

The handsome chef came out to greet us and explained the menu and answered all of our questions. He served us the Korean fried chicken. Very crispy skin. Flavorful with a little bit of spice. Sat on a bed of greens. Next we ordered the sea bass. Light and flaky. Served with coconut rice and a mole sauce. The top was crispy too. The sides paired well with the fish. Also ordered the rib eye mole. The steak was tender and juicy. The smoked mole sauce was so good. Tasted very authentic and we were very surprised that the chiles actually came from Huahaca (?? Spelling). It was a great accompaniment to the steak. It came with house made fresh tortillas. We asked for extra jalapeños and hot sauce and they were very accommodating. I'm not much of a drinker so when I asked John, who is also a very talented mixologist, to make me something that tasted like juice, he delivered this beautiful lychee "martini". The presentation was amazing. And went well with my fish. They had me try the pickle drink. The foam on top was good and the "margarita" at the bottom was good too. They even surprised us with tofu cheesecake. I don't like tofu or cheescake, but wow, this dessert was light. Not overly sweet. It was a perfect way to end the meal. The Chef and John and the other mixologist from Thailand were so friendly that even when we finished our meal, they shared stories with us. They made us feel like VIPs in our own private restaurant with a private chef and mixologists. We felt very welcomed and not rushed. Will definitely be back again for the top notch service!!

It's spacious with a live DJ keeping the music and vibez going! There's an area for pictures including 360 photo booth etc. My overall score is 4.5/5.0 will be back for sure!!! Score would've been higher if the service was quicker.

Mariposa Brunch - Las Vegas…read more If you're looking for a brunch spot with great energy, Mariposa definitely delivers. The vibe was amazing! There was a live DJ, a hype man keeping the crowd engaged, and an overall fun atmosphere that made it feel like a party. The food was delicious--think soul food brunch with flavorful dishes--and the drinks were just as good. My biggest piece of advice: make a reservation. If you don't have one, be prepared to wait. We were initially told the wait would be about 45 minutes, but after waiting that long, we were told we still had to wait until all guests with reservations had been seated. Since reservations kept arriving, it felt like we might never get a table. After speaking with management and going back and forth, we were finally seated after about an hour. Once seated, it also took a while for our food to arrive, but the quality of the food, drinks, and overall experience made it worth it. Just know that Mariposa is off the Las Vegas Strip, so you'll need to venture away from the Strip to get there. Overall, if you make a reservation ahead of time, you'll likely have a much smoother experience. The food, drinks, and atmosphere are absolutely worth checking out.
