Been here numerous times, they do a mediocre job at best. Trash was still left inside the car. Not thoroughly wiped down inside either. For VIP + , it's not worth it. I'd rather go to primeshine. Crappy service w/at least one dishonest and untrustworthy employee cleaning cars. On Sat, Jan. 20th, 2018, we went to get a car wash after our daughters birthday party. Inside the store she mentioned wanting to get something. We reminded her that she had just gotten a $20 bill for a birthday gift, and her reply was that she left it in the car. Surprise, surprise...it was gone. Managers told us they would have to get back to us. We called mid week and were told they hadn't had time to review the camera footage yet. I received a call today (9 days later), from the manager who said the footage showed no one making movements as if to steal anything. When I knew someone stole from us we watched them closely and even right in front of them we couldn't see that well into the vehicle. What a joke! Now to the service itself, my car still had bird crap on it and they did a piss poor job on the interior. So our almost $20 car wash was now almost $40, our car was still dirty, and our daughter had her first experience being stolen from. I'm not surprised by their rating, I only wish I had come here to read the reviews first! read more

This was my first visit to this car wash after a friend recommended them. My truck was FILTHY. I live in a rural area and the bugs on my windshield had been there for months, the mud on the running boards was months old as well. My two dogs left their mark by dripping mud down from the sides of the bed. Inside was not much better, dirt, dust and dried mud everywhere. You get the picture. So I pull up and was greeted quickly by the attendant, who answered my first timer questions. Then I pulled up to the vacuum station, I told him I wanted to grab some trash out of the back seat and he said "oh no we can get that for you" I know it's their job but that was nice of him. Inside the building there is a gift shop with cute things. The little cafe was clean and the food smelled good but I had already eaten. I did get a cup of coffee to go and the girl was nice. Once I got outside I saw my truck coming out of the wash but it was promptly driven back around for a second wash due to the bug situation! Once it came out I thought I was done but the nice man standing by the keys explained that if there is a towel on your car it still needs some cleaning. My truck hasn't looked this good all year! The staff was so friendly and pleasant I am so glad I tried something other than PrimeShine and I will be back! read more

We took a chance on this place because it's closer to my husband's Barbershop and were hoping to find a new place to take our 3 vehicles and refer our clients! Sadly, we will NEVER be back and will continue to take our truck to Prime Shine. We paid about $30 for a decent cleaning. Wasn't too impressed, definitely something we could have done at home, but I guess we paid for the convenience? Had to wipe the windows down again ourselves..not a very thorough job of vacuuming. Windshield looked the same. It is what it is. What was absolutely horrible was the customer service. Pretty much blank stares and one word answers upon driving in. Is everyone here miserable? Sat in the sun for quite awhile waiting for our truck to find out it's been sitting done for some time. But, the number one reason I'd give this place 0 stars is how we were treated by a man working there who I'm assuming was some kind of manager (wore a white collared shirt and was walking around overseeing things in the parking lot). He was SO incredibly rude to my family and especially my husband. We were not familiar with the parking lot procedures here and very accidentally started to head toward the wrong way to exit the parking lot. We were apologetic, already embarrassed, and certainly did not want to be in anyone's way. Instead of helping us navigate out safely we were met with some really nasty, condescending sarcasm, scoffed at and laughed at by this man, while he was encouraging some of the employees around us to look and shake their heads at us, while both of my toddler daughters were in the car. He really made us feel stupid, unwelcome and frankly, humiliated for a human MISTAKE that was easily fixed as we backed up and turned in 10 seconds and were already out of the lot. So unprofessional and rude, and all for a subpar washing. Horrible business. Do not recommend it at all. read more

I had the worst experience ever for a "service related" company. Wish there was zero stars. After vacuuming and waiting for the car to come out of the wash two people spent less than 2 minutes"hand wiping" the interior. When we opened the doors all four door panels were unwiped, passenger window was streaked and I could have done a better sweep job with a worn out broom. We asked for a towel from one employee and rather than come to see what was missed simply handed me a towel and walked away. After wiping the interior they missed I handed a manager the towel and said I was done wiping the interior. He never even came to the car to check what the issue was. I went looking for another manager and ran into the same guy. I asked why he never came to the car to investigate. He said I walked to my car, he never took the initiative to follow me. This place is a total assembly line rip off. Their website lists clean car guarantee. Problem is clean is to their standards not the customer. Pay the extra $2 and go to Vintage they don't require customers to finish their job. read more

I wasn't impressed three months ago but I thought I would give it another try since I was on a limited time schedule and needed my car cleaned for a "ride along" business appt this morning. The cleaning done this time was even worst than the last time I was in, and to make matters worse they weren't even that busy! they had at least ten employees standing around and my car looked like it was cleaned by my child. I called to let the cashier know that I was disappointed and she cut me off and put me on hold before I was even done talking, I had to call back before I can get a hold of the manager "Danny." to make a long story short, I told him about my dissatisfaction and told him, I needed to just have them credit my account back so I can go to vintage car wash but instead of listening to my request, he requested that I come back because they CAN'T refund or give credit back. (which we all know is a LIE, all businesses are capable of doing whatever needs to be done to make their customers happy and avoid them from writing BAD YELP reviews) I'm not one to really write disappointments on yelp but this one is well deserved. NOT RECOMMENDED! If i could I would give this place NEGATIVE stars but, I have to pick a rating before I can submit, which is the only reason I'm giving it 1 star. read more

I've been a clean car club member for over a decade. Have watched the place go through transition from father to son with update of the facilities and landscaping. Even saw the transition to the current restaurant which had been very popular. Good food and reasonable prices. It's one of the weekend things I do; breakfast or lunch while getting my tank filled and car washed. The wash has always been top notch. I find amusing the complaints here about the admittedly filthy interiors brought in and disappointment that after a car wash their interior is not show room ready. It's a car wash that you paid for not detailing. My Audi is in its 5th year of membership in the club and except for some wear on the floor mats looks new! I do take advantage of club membership and have my car cleaned weekly and, time permitting and if needed, twice on the weekends. Nothing like starting the week with a nice clean car with a full tank. 5 Minute Car Wash has been great over the years. Everyone I've interacted with over the years from the gas pump sign in to the vacuum station through the cashier on into the cafe and the drying station are nice cheerful and helpful. Rude? I've not experienced that or even seen that at 5 Minute. I even shop the gift store and use the oil change shop across the parking lot and find the same good service. I'd likely try the new barbershop but for the fact I've had the same barber for about 30 years! The entire organization is well run with what seems to me to be happy employees who work hard to provide a top notch service. read more

Not the best car wash not the worst either just average. The outside of my car was clean and for most part the inside was clean. They missed a couple spots and for me paying 20 dollars for a wash it should be close to perfect. They get a plus for having a diner inside so you can have some food while you wait. read more

He acted like it was no big deal, was laughing about it. I was in Modesto looking for a car wash. I took my dads truck to this place because when I lived in Modesto (28 years ago), this place was great. Stay away from this place!!!!!! Not only did I pay 18+ dollars for a car wash, the interior was never cleaned. I pointed out to the manager that the interior was never cleaned, vacuum or wiped down. Maybe the employee cleaning the interior should not have dark sun glasses when cleaning the interior so that he can see the dust and grime that he never cleaned. After a second time, I just got my keys and left. I should have read the reviews prior to taking my dads truck there. What a waste of money. Its sad that a business owner clearly does not care of customer satisfaction. As long as he/she makes a buck, the satisfaction of the customer is not his/her concern. read more

this place sucks.... they called me at 5 to say my car was done.. I told them I would be there in five minutes... they could not wait 5 minutes for me to pick up my car... WTF... my clients would never stand for that.. never never never again...this is the worst customer service ever. read more
