Extremely disappointed!! I can not believe this happened to me.. my family and I have been coming here for years. Today as I got my oil change I went over to get my car wash. When my truck came out a big chunk of paint was missing from the hood of my truck. Now I went over to talk to the first person I saw. Apparently he happens to be the owner. He went on to tell me something that I believe to be BS. "Normally all white GM paint is cheap sorry we can't do anything for you" keep in mind there is a chunk of paint missing from my truck! After going back and forth for a while the end result was giving me the option to run it through the car wash again.. he must not be that smart. Why in the world would I run my fucking truck back through the car wash that scraped the paint of my truck in the first place! Knowing that he wasn't working with me I said the least they can do is at least give me a full detail which is nothing compared to having repaint the hood of my truck. Then it happened! He had the nerve to get loud with me and started yelling about not being responsible.. I will say this without caring one bit! He is extremely lucky I was in an okay mood if not It would've ended bad for him! 1. Don't get loud with people.. you never know what they can do to you and 2. You are supposed to be the damn owner! So you are meaning to tell me that you rather loose a customer for life instead of comping a damn detail!? That's unfortunate! This place used to be my number one choice for car wash services but the last couple times I've gone there have been bad. Today I went and payed 27.50 for the ViP wash after waiting half an hour for my car to be washed I left and noticed they didn't clean my dash and didn't give me air freshener. 4/10/2019 If I could leave this place "0" stars I would! I took my car to this place at noon today and asked for a basic $20 car wash to get rid of bugs on a car that a a week and a half old. When I picked up my car and drove off, I noticed the front console had not been dusted off. --Not a big deal... I can do that then I noticed that they had SCRATCHED THE TOP OF THE CENTER CONSOLE. YES, SCRATCHED IT. They didn't bother to dust the the console but they did SCRATCH A WEEK AND A HALF OLD CAR. When I called them, and demanded my money back, they simply told me the don't offer refunds and that the best they could do was re-wash my car. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Did they think I would let them touch my car again???? The manager outright refused to do anything about it and told me flat out they would do nothing but wash the car. They did not care that I told them I would leave them a bad review and tell everyone what they had done and how they behaved. The manager Brandon just did not care! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Beware! Honest, Great Service and Reliability. Being 68 years old I have had my cars cleaned many times by every car wash in Modesto, Ceres and Manteca. I have never been happy with any of them as I am with Five Minute Car Wash. For more than 45 years they have met every expectation I have of a service industry. Over the many years I have visited Five Minute Car Wash there have been incidents where money in excess of $20 and other valuable items were found in my car during the cleaning process and ALWAYS brought to me by their manager. They are the best so don't waste your time on the rest. Living in different areas of the Valley forced me to have to use other businesses. When I have a choice it is Five Minute Car Wash. read more

Man... just spent 30 bucks on VIP PLUS wash and boy I would like my money back. Zero of the inside was touched as far as dash and doors and parts of my truck weren't touch on the outside. You cannot even get tire dressing and less you get the most expensive wash... they do get you out fast, but that's one of the reasons why the quality of service is so poor.. on two separate occasions I had to tell them to remove bird crap off of my car, why they did not do this as they were drying the vehicle I do not know.. you clearly can see it.. if you go here make sure you triple check around your car to make sure that there are no smudges or 100 bugs on your grill like that was mine.. i've been here five or six times and every single time I've had to have them do something again.. vintage is much better.. read more

Moved from one side of town to the other ... previously went to vintage and now have given five minute 4 tries to get it right ... I will just say this your just as good to go to prime shine and wipe down yourself for $8.. i don't mind spending $30 for a car wash on my truck but when I spend 30 minutes at home afterwards getting all the water spots off and actually doing the windows , it's not worth it... there has not been ONE time where I left even half way satisfied... place is a joke and it's too bad because it's so close to home... vintage isn't perfect but they at least wipe car down properly and do windows ... I'm not even gonna discuss inside vacuum job or mats, freakin joke! Brandon , my truck has 7k on it and is flawless and is babied inside and out... when I bring to a car wash and ask for the best wash you have and observe my car sitting week after week in the sun watching the water bake to the chrome before anyone even touches it (and place is half empty), and then see a kid clean my greasy wheels and then use same towel to dry off paint, it blows my mind... then I notice my windows have not been touched let alone sprayed and cleaned , then when I get in and see my rubber mats have not been touched or my dash not wiped down it just is icing on the cake ... trust me Brandon the guys in the white shirts know my truck , and probably hate seeing me now... I'm all about giving a business a chance and second and third chances but when it's a repeat every single time , it's a hassle to have to one, tell the white shirts my truck is not done right , two get home and spend an hour re doing it ... I'm also all about giving people a job trying to become productive members of society ,and that job is NOT easy and pay is low, and I know it , but Cmon Brandon seriously if I'm spending $30 get it done right the FIRST time EVERY time , or don't do it all... Decent car wash. But they didn't even vacuum the back seat. Or dry the trunk area at all. There were still finger prints on the inside of the windows as well. Asked for a rag and they were kind enough to give me one to finish the job. Someone in a white shirt came up to me and help me finish the job and did offer to vacuum the back seat but I was pretty upset that I had to finish what I paid them to do. I also like how they take your receipt to get your car back so you have no proof you were there. read more

Decided to take my son's car here for a quick wash since i had used it earlier today. I just got the exterior wash. When the car came off the line, i noticed my son's custom license frame was broken. He has matching frames for the front and back that cost about 20$ a piece. I tell the attendant that is drying his vehicle, and he literally says "oh man that sucks hahaha" maybe you can just put some tape on it"! Then he laughs again. I ask for a manager, and the manager looks and says "aw man, that's too bad, but the owner isn't, he doesn't reimburse for these." He then proceeds to say how there's supposed to be bolt holes on the top and bottom of the frame and it's mounted wrong. The thing is, the frame was designed how it was and was mounted according to the manufacturer. The frame want a huge issue, but the unprofessional attitude with the laughing and oh that sucks response was just down right disrespectful and a horrible example of customer service. I would've been fine with the $30 bad car wash if it wasn't for them pooping my tire then refusing to fix it. The manager Brandon refused to help me after being a jerk to me and the other employees only offering a free wash. Another manager refused to give me contact information to the ownership and it took talking to a third manager to file a report. Been coming to 5 min since 1983, went there this week and had my car cleaned. I have no complaints about the car wash, however the employees are not so honest. When a business post a sign saying " they are not responsible for lost or stolen items" it says a lot about the character of the employees. I left several lottery ticket in the glove compartment of my car, $25 worth of scratchers and a $5 super lotto (hadn't checked it yet?). When I stopped to cash them in they were gone. I thought by putting them in the compartment out of site it would be fine. No need to be snooping..but I was wrong. Will not be going back. read more

This place deserves absolutely no stars!! I chose the VIP car wash service. I picked up my car the same dirt spots are on the car seats they did a sloppy job vacuuming and cleaning the seats. I was just there, been a customer for 10 years, will not be going back. It has been about 3 months since my last visit, as the car I take there, is not a daily driver. There ere only were few customers there, and now I understand why. I was told they were "still short staffed" and I could only get a wash and vacuum for $25, or wash only for $17. I opted for the wash only. when it came out it sat in the sun for about 10 minutes water spotting( dark colored car), while they hand wiped vehicles that came out after mine. I retrieved my keys and left. When I got home (literally two block drive) I found some type of oily substance all over the right side of hood and front end that I had to clean off with detail spray. My wife stopped going there about a month ago because of the poor quality service on her daily driver. I wanted to give them a chance. Vey sorry I did!! Brandon, after your response to my review I realize that you are completely unaware or in denial of the job your staff currently does on these vehicles. By saying that the my concerns with my interior dash, doors, and center console not being touched by your staff and the rear seat being half vacuumed (after they were finished and paying for a VIP wash) is a matter of paying more money ( addtional $20) to have it detailed or to have to ask to have it redone after they were finished (which is what I've had to do the last 4 times I've been there) proves you are out of touch with your staffs performance and customers concerns. Your comment of how I treated your staff is absolutely insulting and should have never been made in your comments. Mike the out side manager, the girl at the register and yourself were the only ones I spoke with on this matter. Mike was very very helpful and appolgectic for the way the vehicle was done and was the one who redid the interior as I had paid for. You approached me only after I had asked to speak with the owner to let him know what was happening and Mike had already been taken care of the issues . All I received from you was comments of we looked you up in our system and your not a weekly regular customer so you need to pay more if you want your vehicle cleaned properly. The comment that you made to me and rehashed in your response "that you have plenty of happy customers" says that any customer that is unhappy (plenty of those that posted one stars on yelp) dont matter to 5 min car wash so take you business else where! Brandon Fenley, today my wife and I brought in her 2015 Chevy Equinox for an oil change and #1 wash. We pay for the best because we expect the best. When the car was done being washed we opened the hatch lid and seen that there was still dirt and a stain of some sort around the sill and the carpet needed to be vacuumed better. When we brought it to your attention not only were you rude but you acted like our car was not clean enough to be going through your wash. Since it only took you 10 minutes to make it right and finish cleaning our car I feel the only problem was your arrogance and the fact that someone had brought to your attention the less than satisfactory job that was done by one of your crew members. Although I have been doing business with your car wash and oil change service for many many years and have brought all my cars and trucks there and have kept coming to you even though you have raised your prices to a ridiculous level for the service (especially the service we got today), my wife and I will no longer be coming in to your business and having our cars and trucks washed and serviced. Went there today to have my F-150 wash and notice they added or change the service to where you end up paying more. They really need to show the break down of each service so customer would know what they're getting for each service instead of someone telling you verbally. Also ate late breakfast and paid almost $18.00? My jaw dropped cause for a corn beef hash, coffee, soda I shouldn't be paying that much. I have to look around and see where I'm at. This car wash is close to my house so that's probably why it's my go to. It's hit and miss on how throughly they clean my car. Sometimes it's immaculate & other times there's noticeable dust or crumbs as soon as I get in my car. If you have all weather mats they do have a machine that washes though which is a feature I take advantage of. Just let the vacuum staff know. read more

Dear diary, I spent what felt like a life time at this car wash today. It took a good 30 minutes from when I pulled in until my car hit the actual wash, thought the inside would have been immaculate due to time spent, not true! The next what felt like 3 days were spent on an uncomfortable bench waiting for my car to emerge from the wash. I waited what felt like two weeks waiting for my car to come out, why so slow, I now need a shave. Just like a fine roast out of the oven my car emerged and was placed in the lot to rest, after a long winters nap I woke up to see someone getting near the vehicle to re-dry it. After piling rags on the hood the staff member went to work at the speed of pudding to dry and finish my car. The next time I'll come earlier and plan to spend a whole day...whoops I meant to say I'll do it myself, am I alone In thinking a car wash should not cost $35! Was rude, had an attitude, sarcastically laughed at me when I asked for a refund and was a complete sexist towards me speaking with my husband about detailing and treating me like I don't know anything about it when at home I'm the one taking 4 hrs to detail my car inside and out !! Don't treat me different because u think I don't know! Just because my husband knows about detailing doesn't mean I don't! This persons comments were completely uncalled for! Without the immature rude comments this situation wouldn't have been as bad as it was! I could have done a much more SUPERIOR job than any of u at home!! I expected more for what I paid. I really want to like this place...it's convenient, I love the Luggage Store for cute gifts, and My Garden Cafe has great food..but the 28 bucks I've paid, 3 times now, was not any different then a 8 dollar wash at Prime Shine. Went to Walgreens, picked up my prescription then headed to get the car washed. I put my meds inside the arm rest. Came home after the wash to find my prescription missing. Went back spoke to Gene and Christian and they did nothing to resolve the issue. They were closing down soon and getting home was a priority that day rather than addressing my issue properly. I will NEVER come back here. I will file another complaint to a manager that actually cares and we'll see what happens. If I did not live in east side Modesto I would of gone to vintage car wash which is clearly the best car wash in town. As for the wash it self id give it a F. I pulled my driver seat forward to find out they did not vacuum behind the seat. I also seen mani other dirty spots inside the car that were not wiped down. Pure laziness. Moved to Modesto about a year ago and been taking my car there for gas and a wash every week. Don't spend a lot, around $40-45/wk. Was treated rudely by one of the managers who has terrible customer relations skills. They probably won't miss me, but I'll never spend a cent there again. I usually don't have a problem coming here but today i noticed something that had bothered me and other people waiting around me. One of the guys wearing a white shirt with a tannish hat on, named Duncan. He was EXTREMELY rude to his coworkers, but i'm guessing since he was wearing a nicer/different colored shirt he might be in a higher rank. He kept yelling at young men to clean windows, or put a car back through because they did a "crappy job." I don't tolerate rude behavior in the workplace, it's disrespectful and makes your company look bad. Especially when it's 100 Degrees mid-day (which was their busiest time.) A young man named travis got yelled at multiple times and that's how i found out his name....embarrassing. I couldn't get this other young mans name, but he was wearing a cowboy hat with reading glasses on. They were both doing great jobs and both super sweet. Once again not being rude Duncan was nice to customers but not employees. All of the men/women there are hard working and deserve a little more respect, considering they're working hard on a hot day, outside. My car was cleaned pretty well in a timely manner but i do think the employees deserve some more respect! They do an awesome job cleaning the car, but there is one issue that I keep having with this particular establishment. Every time I asked for a fragrance, they don't put it in the first time. So the guy that took my car in had no personality I asked which car wash to pick and he had no response so I just chose one then I went inside to go pay and the girls there were talking and not even paying attention that I was even there. Then when they noticed I was there she didn't even say hi or anything she just charged me and that was it then nothing else. What a disappointment..... I paid $24 for a car wash that was to include inside and outside and tire shine! My truck was barely vacuumed out they did not wipe down the dash or any of the cupholders. There was dust and hair along the dash and in the center consul they did not even completely dry the truck and failed to put tire shine on the tires. I had to ask for a rag so I could wipe the inside of my truck down myself...... When I went back to the lady to charged me inside she told me she could not do anything for me to go look for a manager who was somewhere outside!!!! The worst customer service ever..... I should have stuck to prime shine and I would have at least got a free dash wipe please take this as a serious suggestion and not just another unhappy customer.... Went there to get my car wash and was mainly there for my interior clean up. Paid for the FULL SERVICE $18. My car was still dirty from the back bumper and front bumper. Interior wasn't cleaned up and wasn't vacuumed in the back. Paid $18 for something that a child would have done better at. Not worth going back to them again. Poor cleaning. read more

This is the BEST car wash, we moved from Modesto to Canton, Michigan and there is nothing like this here. I drove 10 miles to get a full service car wash and it was a joke.
