--- I had one of the worst experiences with this car detailing company. Not only did they mess up my window tint, but they also forgot to put my spare tire back in my car. When I tried to address these issues, the customer service was absolutely horrible. A woman named Lisa was extremely rude and unprofessional. It's frustrating to spend good money on a service and leave with more problems than when I came in. I will NEVER be back. Lisa told me, over the phone, that it would be $275 for an interior clean (my 3 year old spilled root beer in my car). She said to bring it in asap so we can get it cleaned, and it'll be ready the next day. I bring it in, and they are already telling me they have to charge an extra hour for $110. So now it would be $385 for interior, only. I called the next day, and it was ready an hour earlier than expected. I asked if I would be getting my $110 back since they didn't need the extra hour, and they had every excuse in the book as to why they had to charge an extra hour but didn't actually use it. I then get my car back, and they broke my lid to the storage compartment in the back. They tried shoving so much stuff in it that the wood split in half and they had to shove it back in the lining with a screwdriver. I also dropped it off with 1/8 of a tank and received it back below E. I barely made it down the road to a gas station. Absolutely unprofessional! They have excuses for everything and take ZERO accountability for anything they do. Not to mention, there was still dirt in crevices and stains. Pretty shitty job for $385. read more

Surprising and expensive add-ons before they even started! This Service was recommended by a friend, guess we will be calling him & see what he actually pays.... When we called spoke with the gentleman there to set up an appointment, & told him we had a black, full size truck, he explained inside and out exceptional detailing, $599. We agreed and brought the truck in the next morning, then the lady inside said oh it's a black truck, that's another hundred dollars we said no he knew it was a black truck and did not tell us that. Still not sure if she was going to try and charge us or not. Then she brought us outside to show us. One of our headlights was a little foggy (by some coincidence yes they do "fix" foggy headlights) we declined. She brought us back out again to show us a hard water spots on the truck. This is Modesto, hard water. Even though we typically have it cleaned at car washes apparently they use Modesto water too, but they always dry the truck so it shouldn't have been an issue. But she offered to fix that for another $125 an hour for five hours. So it would only send us back $1,225, plus tax. Not surprising, but we declined. read more

Frankly, I think the manager (or owner?) has a screw loose. I took a vehicle in to be detailed and thoroughly cleaned. When I picked it up (work completed), I was looking at the vehicle and noticed how yellow the paint was on the hood... of a white car. What I hadn't noticed in bright sunlight was that the hood had been re-painted (obviously by Mistlin Honda that we purchased the vehicle from as a new auto). I mentioned to the swarthy manager that I need to get that repainted... AND THE GUY BLOWS UP AT ME. Why? BECAUSE I'M COMPLAINING ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK. No, I mentioned that I saw -- for the first time ever -- that the vehicle's hood had been repainted. Just thinking that I should have it re-done when we get the chance... no allegations made whatsoever. An observation... This guy was frothing at the mouth, a textbook case of rage, literally screaming at me to get out of his business. Scared the hell out of both of us. Ny girlfriend used her cellphone to record the incident. read more

These are very unprofessional and rude people. They are not completing and do properly but charging for the service they never did. I dropped the car for inside complete detailing and wash of seats and floor. But when I came here to collect my car I noticed they just cleaned the seats but not floor. I think they forgot, but when I asked him floor is not clean. He said he washed the floor and this is he can do. Then he argued with me and start using bad words and take my car inside and told us to get out from his shop. Honestly customer service was great which is why I give it two stars instead of one. For the price I really expected the be amazed by there work but unfortunately I was dissatisfied. As you see in the photos they missed a couple spots that are clearly visible to the eye. There was still more spots I noticed that where not clean. For example there wad towel marks on the mirrors and windshield. The car was there for 7 hours approximately and I would be surprised if they told me they worked one hour on it. My husband could have done a better job at home and that is what we will do next time. I do not recommend going to this place for detailing. read more

Been going to Car Pretty for 30 years. My family and myself have been friends with them for a long time. I have referred many friends to them over the years and spent thousands of dollars over time. I have always loved the way they have done my vehicles. I am very particular. Every time I've picked up my car, Lisa always says "check it out, and let us know if everything is okay." That is what a good business does. There have been a few times, that I had to have one of the detailers correct an issue. Usually takes 5 min, and never has been a problem. On February 20, 2019, I went to Car Pretty at 6:45AM, right before they opened to see if I could get a hand wash and make an appointment for a detail. I was greeted my Noel in the shop, who told me to go inside and see if Lisa could put me on the schedule. As I walked in, Mike Masselis, the original owner greets me, and says "hey, what's up?" I told him that my car had been decorated with bird feces the night before and it needed to be cleaned. He looks at me and says, "we cannot do your car anymore, you're to God damn particular, we cannot please you, if you want us to do your car, leave your credit card, and we will charge you $75.00 an hour, and start and stop on your time." He continues with "I have to pay my workers for their time and have no time to waste on your being picky, you even had a problem with the dealership." What he was referring to was a 2014 Infiniti Q50 that I leased brand new and it was a lemon, and was purchased back by the Ca Lemon Law. Mike being my so called friend, had knowledge of that, and threw that up in my face, which had NOTHING to do with him!! Can we say passive aggressive? He even put down my 95 years old great aunt's car that I spent over $350.00 on a detail a few months ago, because it's old, and I had the detailer re do the inside windows because they were streaked, and took 10 min to fix. Some friend and good businessman, right?! I told him that I am picky, as he is also picky with his vehicles. He just laughed and said "hey, I think you're a great guy, and we can be friends, would you like a cup of coffee?!" I said no, we are no longer friends. Lisa, his daughter just sat there like a wall flower, said nothing to him, but did say goodbye to me as I departed. Talk about classless and tacky individuals!! I guess if he could disown one of his daughters and granddaughter because he didn't like his granddaughter's boyfriend, simply because he had a tattoo, I guess that speaks volumes about his character, right?! I had my first detailing today with Pretty Car and I will not return. I received a gift certificate and have been waiting until I could park my car in a garage before I splurged on this service. I paid the additional $25 for the interior stain protect-ant and $65 more to remove calcium spots. Both were needed but they explained that if I didn't get calcium off now they would be sealed in. OK - this made sense. Until I picked up the car and found bug smudges still on the back sides of the side mirrors which could be rubbed off with my finger ("$65 extra in time and material" yet the bugs rubbed right off and we're "sealed in"?) Also, a faded portion of the paint was spruced up and in the same area, an additional portion was not touched. They said they couldn't get it shinny but why is it the other portion right next to it was done successfully. Sounds to me like someone got lazy. None of the scratches (even the smallest ones) were addressed - not sure if this is usually included) The interior was well done except a few stains that were missed completely especailly around front seats. The seat was obviously not moved to get between the tight spots. Tell me how this was a $300 car wash! To be fair, I didn't go back in to talk to them. I had to get back to work and since it was only $100 out of my pocket, I didn't have the balls to complain. I didn't have the time to wait there while they resolved it. Wish I had! Now that stain is going to bother me until I can get in there and scrub it myself. They had the nerve to promote their repair services to me three times - I won't even come back for a cleaning let alone trust my engine to them. Over priced and careless. They get two stars because were all very friendly especially the father who drives the shuttle! read more

Well I took my black corvette to this place for hand wash and paint correction, wax with buffer... I paid 270.00 and picked it up and thought it looked good but it was almost dark... took it home, and several days later I pulled out of the garage I'm the full sun and seen all the buffer marks left from their buffer!! I called and told them about it and they told me bring it back. I did and pointed out to them that after the 2nd time, there were still buffer swirls! I left and called them back and told them it looks bad and she said bring it back so I drove the hour down there and paid the Uber to her home and waited all day until I called them and they knew nothing about why my Car was there! I told them Lisa said bring it down and he flipped out on me, this is the owners son in law!! He told me I'm not welcome at their shop ever again and yelled and then hung up On me. I called back and said we got disconnected and he says no, I hung up on you! I kissed his ass because he had my car so he agreed to go over the top only and when I picked it up the next morning, he held my keys out and turned away from me!! I'll never ever go there for anything!!! I took it somewhere else and was told I should not see any of the fine scratches if they knew what they were doing! Also they charged more because it's black and I'm told that me a sign of them not knowing what they're doing! Horrible place!!! I want my money back! read more

Car Pretty has cleaned, waxed and serviced both of my cars. Their mechanic, Sam, has provided great results with every service done and has saved me about $1000 as compared to the dealerships. Both of my vehicles have been waxed, polished and cleaned there too. The results were great, I requested their "low gloss" interior and it looked great. The carpets and seats looked brand-new after cleaning. The only minus was that they don't clean the headliner, which I did myself.
