Highly professional and courteous from the receptionist, hygienist and the dentist himself. They were very detailed and explained everything. He tried to decrease my contact strength prescription without letting me even try on any trials (thank God for the woman checking me out who made sure to find some me to try on before we ordered because I would've been pissed off getting contacts that I couldn't see through), kept promoting some podcast he was going to be on, tried to tell me that my primary physician wasn't going to truly check on one of my health conditions that I needed to get an ultrasound from him instead, told me to look something up using AI, and couldn't dumb down an explanation of something that was, as he described it, "pretty sciency" (I'm a month away from having a masters degree in biology mind you). He tried to schedule me for an unnecessary procedure after telling him I'm losing my insurance very soon. He also stated he "wouldn't be mad" if I chose to stay with my original prescription instead of going with the lower strength one, as if a decision regarding my body and what is going to be best for me should include factoring in his emotions. A genuine disgrace to eye doctors who are actually worth a hoot. If you don't want to be scared into going to the doctor or receiving an unnecessary procedure, I recommend going elsewhere.

In a few minutes a beautiful assistant came to take me back. After I got in the chair she explained I could get up when I needed & go to the restroom. She told me to let her know if I wanted any water, & got me ready in the chair. In a few minutes Dr. Louis Shelton came in & began deadening the first area. Dr. Shelton is the best I have ever been to for doing this pain free. During the 3 hours I was there Dr. Shelton, & 3 different Assistants worked tirelessly to make me as comfortable as possible. They are all simply the best I have ever seen. Most excellent care & office experience ever. My teeth feel great, & I can eat pain free, & feel great. The office has stated the issue falls on me simply because I initially agreed to the service, despite the fact that I attempted to cancel promptly. Additionally, the level of care I received was disappointing. When I expressed that I was in pain after the procedure, the staff member assisting me (Rhea, if I recall correctly) showed little concern and simply stated, "It won't last forever," when I asked how long the pain would last. No aftercare guidance or recommendation, such as taking ibuprofen, was provided. Overall, I am very disappointed with this experience and do not anticipate returning beyond picking up the teeth mold I was required to pay for.

After doing some research, I decided to give this dental office a try. The parking lot is so cute. Each spot has a star, so each customer can feel like a celebrity. When I walked in, I was greeted by a gregarious staff. The decor is fully committed to a theater like experience with a popcorn stand in the lobby that has fresh popped bags of popcorn that you can take with you after your dental services. Each room has a theme. To name a few, there is the Marilyn Monroe room, Wizard of OZ room, Super Heros room, and the Star Trek room. My experience was pleasant during my new patient exam and cleaning. My only complaint is the lack of time management. Upon arrival for my appointment, I was seated in a consultation room and waited for 30 minutes before the dentist arrived. Once we were done there, I was seated in the exam room. I waited another 30 mins minutes for the dentist to start the examination of my gums. The dentist apologized for the delay and said there was a last-minute emergency, which I understood. Once we were done, they told me I needed to schedule the cleaning for another day since all 50 of their dental hygienist go to lunch at the same time, and it was their lunch hour. I explained that I could wait till they came back since I didn't want to have to waste another day coming back and waiting for hours, plus I wanted to purchase new retainers. My cleaning appointment was scheduled for when the dental hygienist returned. Everything went smoothly with the second half of my visit. I had to return 4 weeks later to pick up my retainer. Once again, I waited about 20 minutes after my appointment for the hygienist to come out and get me. Due to the room needing to be sanitized, she ended up handing me the retainer, I tried them on and was done. If I was rating the customer service and friendliness of the staff, I would give this place 5 stars. Everyone I encountered was professional and personable. Hopefully, my next visit in 6 months will not be a all day event.

Spoke with an assistant that informed me I would need to pay over $100.00 just to get the appointment, prior to being seen. She indicated this would go toward my bill. It acted as a deposit and in case I did not fulfill the appointment time. I do not have dental insurance but do have income to support my appointments. I was shocked at this requirement and moved on to another dentist that did not require a prepayment - deposit just to be seen. I realize some people do not meet their appointments but I am not that person. Perhaps $25 like many medical entities but was shocked at this requirement. This will not be my dentist.
