Comfortable B&B in Port Angeles - we enjoyed our stay last week when we were in the area. Five Seasuns B&B is close to the PA ferry terminal (we arrived from Victoria BC), the northern areas of Olympic National Park (Hurricane Ridge, Crescent Lake, Sol Duc Falls) and the northeast part of Olympic peninsula (we visited lavender farms in the Sequim-Dungeness area since our visit coincided with Lavender Fest). Value was fair. We paid $828 for two nights in the Indian Summer Suite ($918 with tax). For this the missus and I got a private bedroom with a queen bed, and our children each got their own beds in the kitchen/living area. The single bathroom and shower stall was adequate for our needs and we had a parking spot underneath the unit. Caroline, who has owned and operated the B&B for 8 years, was consistently communicative, warm and helpful. She baked cookies for us both evenings, and served us healthy and filling breakfasts. She also offered good advice on where to go for dinner and sightseeing. Bonus: the grounds are captivating, with deer and a fish pond on the premises. We would be happy to return. read more

Caroline was awesome! My girlfriend and I stayed for a weekend and we had a blast. The breakfasts were amazing and the cookies were unreal. We loved how comfortable the bed was and Caroline gave us some awesome recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to check out. Five SeaSuns bed and breakfast, and Caroline ( the owner and inn keeper) are both pretty special. The inn is a beautiful property, originally built in 1926. The lounge area, the dining room with the gorgeous fireplace, the comfortable bedrooms-all of it is lovely. But what made this place really special, is Caroline. She cooked up a storm for us every morning, while taking all of our dietary restrictions into account. I was genuinely so excited about the breakfast I'll be getting every day. The fruits with the mango cream was delicious, the deliciously gooey cranberry torte was absolutely brilliant, as was the french toast with peaches. We also really appreciated her suggestions to go see the salmon cascades. It was not on my list, but it was a spectacular sight and I'm so glad we didn't miss it. Again, all thanks to Caroline-who takes some time out of what must be really busy morning for her, to get to know her guests better and give thoughtful travel suggestions. Caroline also makes sure you come home to some delicious treats in your room every day. She's thoughtful, kind, and just the kind of person the world needs more of. Like she told me, we've all been changed by the pandemic. And we can all do with some caring and some feeding. And Caroline is doing all of that and some more. Wonderful stay experience. My first bed and breakfast, owner Carolina made it awesome. She welcomed us with homemade chocolate cookie and showed us around the house. Clean neat and tidy. Even we stayed at the smallest room, we had everything alright. The breakfast was delicious! Delicious! homemade French toast, taste fresh and fruity. Carolina was super nice, she introduced quite a lot local places for us to visit as well. Feel can't expect more. read more

Five SeaSuns looks as good from the outside as it does inside. That's an attractive and unique feature of this lovely location in Port Angeles, which is perfectly situated for exploring Olympic National Park. The gardens are exceptional, even compared to other top B&Bs, and the inside is filled with tasteful antiques and fancy furnishings that create a cozy atmosphere that is part romance, part nostalgia, and part relaxing place to be. You'll breathe easier, let your pulse slow, and start to appreciate the little things in life: a rhododendron bush in bloom, a trickling waterfall, an actual redwood tree growing in the back, and lots of lush greenery all around. It's like staying in a botanical garden, just with fluffy bedsheets and delicious multicourse breakfasts. It reminded me a bit of the South Coast Inn in Brookings, OR, which also has great outdoor spaces to match the niceness inside. Five SeaSuns is a little more intimate and slightly more Victorian, in a quiet residential neighborhood that is still only a few blocks from the downtown. And the road to Hurricane Ridge beckons. My advice is to take some time to enjoy the garden patio during your stay, at different hours of the day. The sunlight and cloud patterns change fast, each moment can be so different. All that rain has to fall somewhere, and when it does, the results are stunning. B&Bs are great sanctuaries for the weary traveler, and restful places for people in-between road trip adventures. I think you'll find what you're seeking here, regardless of the season you happen to visit. read more

We stayed at the 5 SeaSuns B&B on 1006 Lincoln St. in Port Angeles, WA, for 2 nights and enjoyed our time until the 2nd breakfast. The conversation among the guests went smooth; we talked about which state we are from, which turned into a discussion on how the presidential campaign played out in our states. Then Bob and Jan chimed in and the conversation turned tense, since they had an opposite political view of most of the guests present and expressed them very strongly. I felt very uncomfortable during the breakfast. Even though our stay before that conversation was enjoyable, I would not return there, since I don't need to hear their beliefs during my vacation nor do I want to give my hard earned money to them. read more

Bob and Jan are the most wonderful hosts !!! Fantastic owners and practiced professional B&Ber's. I felt like a Queen. I can't say enough about how welcomed and relaxed i felt from the moment I walked in the door. The food was wonderful --- Bob and Jan served up a Dutch baby pancake with eggs, fresh fruit and sorbet --- perfect start to the day. The B&B is located just on the edge of the city/home community spilt --- so I would walk into the business area in about 10 mins --- for great access to restaurants and services. But far enough off the main thoroughfare to avoid noises of traffic, etc. The room was perfect --- great bed, nice private bath and plenty of silence -- which I was looking for. They have a great parlor for r/r --- with Bob's cookies and a cup of tea --- it was my evening retreat at the end of the day. The last day I had a very early departure and Bob made me a brown bag breakfast to go --- IT WAS WONDERFUL treat and suprise. HIGHLY recommend a stay with Bob and Jan ---- and make sure to ask about things to do and see --- they are both a wealth of knowledge on the local community and national parks. They have wifi and tv -- but i was on a tech free vacation so didn't use. read more

This 1926 inn is beautiful! Enjoyed exploring the vintage furniture & decor. The inn is located near the downtown shopping & eateries, local wineries, and Olympic National Park. We spent the first couple nights in The Spring Room on the second floor. The floor space is a little tight for two people. The balcony view was nice. My husband had a leg injury after we booked our stay and our hostess Caroline offered us The Summer Room on the main floor at no extra charge for his comfort. Breakfast was simple home cooking and delicious. Caroline packed a breakfast to go for our early ferry trip. Yummy scratch baked treats greeted us every day. There are several sitting areas outside to take advantage of when the weather is nice (not raining). We had a wonderful time at the five SeaSuns and looking forward to our next trip! read more

We stayed here in the middle of July, and what a wonderful experience! Caroline, the owner, gave us a warm welcome! Fresh cookies prepared in our beautiful loft room with a private bath and kitchen. The beds in the room were very comfortable and provided a good night sleep. Caroline prepared breakfast for us - a tad later for us because we were out late exploring Olympic National Park! How nice! She gave us helpful advice about the park and cheerfully chatted at breakfast, which she cooked for us. The food was DELICIOUS! One of the best breakfasts I ever tasted! My son and I stayed in the top floor of the carriage house. We had the whole thing to ourselves. Very private. We were even pleasantly surprised by having home made chocolate chip cookies waiting for us in our room. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. The host/owner (Caroline) couldn't have been more accommodating or pleasant. I recently moved to PA. I stayed at the 5Seasuns B&B for a month while looking for an apartment, then furnishing it. I have a different perspective than most guests, since I stayed so long. PA has many good B&Bs, but Jan & Bob make this an outstanding place to spend time. It is like staying with your best friends, or your favorite relative. Breakfasts are AWESOME! I took pictures and sent them to friends so that no one would feel sorry for me. After a days excursion around the area or Victoria, Bob's cookies cannot be resisted! I became a cookie monster. This was an awesome find! Exterior 1st impression: beautiful Victorian with an amazing little landscaped paradise around every corner. Inside: the Victorian theme continues. Wall paper, service ware, furnishings - all of it gave you a old timey feel without feeling dingy and out of use. Location: about 10 blocks from the harbor which meant it was a tad bit warmer than the pier, and at night that was PERFECT. Plus, it's right on the street that becomes 101 and it was easy to get in and out of and very close to the national park entrance. Hosts: Bob and Jan were the best! Very friendly and helpful with hiking and eating suggestions and Bob made and served and excellent breakfast every morning. There are only 5 rooms so breakfast with the other guests was great. They will take you to the Victoria shuttle if you want, and on the morning we left early, Bob packed us a wonderful to-go breakfast. The only thing negative I could begin to say, our room had a bath tub with the handheld shower nozzle, so I mean, yeah one on the wall would be ideal, but if that is all you can complain about - awesome! We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Port Angeles! read more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Five Seasuns in advance of a backpacking trip to the Olympic National Park. I don't think I can say enough good things about this place and Caroline, the innkeeper. We stayed in the Winter Room or the master suite. I found the price to be really reasonable for the amount of space and charm we got. The bed was comfy, the lounge area was delightful, the changing room which leads to our private bathroom was great. We came in late August and with Port Angels weather being fairly mild, the opened windows of our room brought in the beautiful sea wind. Besides the well-furnished, charming room, the amenities of the BnB were top-notch. Breakfast was excellent and a highlight each day. Caroline cooks and bakes up some really special meals for her guests (not to mention the daily cookie delivery to the room!). But what really tops it off is Caroline herself--a lovely human who is genuinely curious about your travels, and wants each guest to experience the very best in and around town. Why stay at a bland, expensive hotel if you can get a unique, one-of-a-kind experience like this?! Before coming to Five Seasuns, I would have said that we won't be back to Port Angels for another few years. But, now after our stay, I think we'll find some reason to return sooner. When we do, there is no question we will stay at Caroline's Five Seasuns as that was a top highlight to our Port Angels /Olympic Peninsula vacation. Thanks so much, Caroline, for everything! They are furnished most elegantly and it was a great treat to spend two nights at the inn. Breakfast was very tasty and the cookies Caroline baked were out of this world. We stayed here for two nights while visiting the Port Angeles area. We were welcomed by Caroline, the proprietor of this historic, cozy and beautifully furnished home. After a quick check in, we relaxed on the patio with tea and fresh homemade cookies. Later she recommended good restaurants in the area for dinner. Both mornings we enjoyed a delicious, filling, and healthy breakfast as well as the company of the other guests. You can have breakfast at 8 or 9, but coffee is ready at 7. Caroline was such an incredible host! We got a free upgrade to the Winter Room which was so nice and cozy too! Breakfast was scrambled eggs with spinach, cheese, and onions, almond croissants, bacon, and parfaits with fresh fruit. The croissant was definitely my favorite but the whole thing was delicious. Homemade shortbread with chocolate and nuts on top was such a nice touch! Caroline gave us recommendations of places to eat (we went to Next Door Gastro Pub which was really close by and very tasty too) and things to do in the area. Would 100% recommend this place and would LOVE to come back sometime on a future trip! 5 stars for sure!! read more

Hands down the best B&B I have ever stayed in. Jan and Bob were so friendly and really made the experience enjoyable. We stayed in the Indian Summer room one night, which is a separate guest house, and the Winter room a different night. Bob is a cook so his breakfasts were top notch.
