We loved our stay at Maitland Manor Bed & Breakfast! My husband and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary at Port Angeles and Olympic National Park. This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast and we were so impressed with the hospitality. Before our trip, we were emailed and texted the virtual guide information, which was extremely helpful with navigating the house and town. The location was very convenient and easy to find. When we arrived to our room, we were greeted with a text and home made sugar cookies at our door. The room had amenities that provided comfort during our stay, such as a coffee and tea maker, shampoo, conditioner, towels, cups, TV, and wifi. The most notable was the cleanliness! With the pandemic, it was very important to us to find accommodation that placed a high priority in sanitation. The next morning, we were greeted by the inn keepers Sydney and Alex to a hearty meal made fresh and personalized. It was great chatting and getting to know them. Thank you for making our celebration and stay special!

Beautiful view from our room! Our room was clean and spacious. Nice size bathroom. It has a small area with a sink and cabinet. Coffee maker, tiny fridge and microwave! Everything we needed for our stay. Heated pool and Hot tub! Very nice! Good WiFi too! I really enjoyed staying here! It was close to nice restaurants, a golf course and close to the ferry to Canada! The only thing that was a disappointment was the Free breakfast didn't have the basic scrabbled eggs, bacon or sausage. The only eggs they served was cold hard boiled eggs. I opted for yogurt for my protein. Coffee was good. They had a waffle maker and lots of bagels, toast, english muffins, cereal all the basics but no warm eggs , bacon , sausage or hash browns :( Overall my stay was great! I would stay here again.

They are located on the outskirts of Port Angeles by the golf course. They are very close to the park itself and makes for a great place to stay when visiting the park. We reserved a 2 queen room with a golf course view months in advance. They gave us a room on the second floor. The room was nice and cozy. The 2 queen rooms have a nice sized bathroom with a tub/shower combo. My wife and daughter did complain about with the soap and shampoo for their shower. It has been a while since we've seen a bar of soap as most hotels use body wash now. The shampoo is a shampoo and conditioner combo. They did not like the soap or shampoo. Breakfast is served downstairs. It was continental breakfast only. No meats. Just waffles, toast, cereals, juice and coffee. It was good enough for the 2 days that we stayed there. They do have an exercise room with treadmills, ellipticals and dumbbells for you to lift. It was less equipment than at some other hotels, but it was enough for you to get a good workout. This might be the best hotel in Port Angeles. You don't have much of a choice. If you visit Port Angeles and want a nicer hotel, this is the place.

The hotel has a beautiful view, and the gentleman at check-in was very friendly. However, this is where I get very confused reading prior reviews. The hotel is very, very dated. Please note that the rooms open up right to the outside, and in my case, to an alley, which tbh, seemed a little sketchy, especially without a deadbolt. Also, the room had a horrible stale smell, like a combination of thrift store and grandma's attic. Despite what is written in their listing on booking websites, (free continental breakfast), there isn't one. I was not told that they stopped serving breakfast at the end of October upon check in. My bad, I guess I should have either asked or consulted the hotel website. In the morning, I was just told, "there's no breakfast." I was only offered a yogurt, but with words to the effect that it should still be good. Umm, no thanks. Airing out the rooms and updating the listing on booking sites should be some easy fixes.

Not only does this place look unsafe, its right next to the street so you hear EVERYTHING. I booked this place via Chase and only booked it because they're dog friendly. After i checked in, I received a room that was right above the office. Little did I know that it was under construction. I didn't think too much of it since there were other things on my mind like a broken toilet seat or the dirty shower. I looked passed those things and went to sleep. At 7 am, I was rudely awaken by LOUD banging and sawing. I attached a video to show how loud it was. That noise went on for the next 3 hours. I tried calling downstairs but no answer. Since we couldnt sleep, we got up and started packing to get out of there as soon as possible. I went to the front desk to complain and the front desk person said they didnt have the power to give a refund (???). He said I had to contact Chase and they would approve it. I went to the parking lot and called Chase who told me that the motel did not approve a refund even though I had literally just talked to them. I went back to the front desk and said that he lied to me and he kept on making an excuse about needing to email someone else. I unfortunately was not able to get anything out of this situation, but please if you're considering this place. STAY AWAY.

But you can tell they are trying to keep it modern. New paint in nice colors, bathroom looks fairly modern, newer bedspreads. They do have a Coke machine that also has water It feels clean and safe.

But if you come here with higher expectations then yeah, this won't be your cuppa tea. We wanted to go to the Olympic National Park, and saw that most peeps stay around the Port Angeles area if not camping inside the park. Therefore, we were looking for somewhere cheap, as we really just needed a place to crash. We found Riviera Inn through Expedia at a price tag that would have us save our pennies for what's more important like dining out and activities during our time in the Olympics. Therefore, for us, it was an A-OK place. Riviera Inn is located near the main downtown area of Port Angeles, so it was walking distance to businesses and the waterfront. It has free parking, rooms with a king bed, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, heater, cable and free wifi. When we arrived to Port Angeles, we arrived a couple hours before the 3pm check-in, but the staff let us check-in earlier, which was super nice. Staff was very friendly here. (Note that they are not doing room service during COVID-19; however, if you need anything, just contact the front desk.) The bed was actually pretty comfortable. I liked the location of this place the best, as we walked everywhere around town and was an easy drive to the national park and highway. But some cons were that it had a musky smell to it, so we kept the window in the bathroom open to air it out. That didn't help much though, as we could smell the musk on our clothes in our luggage when we got home. Another con is that the walls are thin. Unless the TV is turned on, we could hear the neighbors watching their TV. But honestly, this wasn't a bad place to stay in Port Angeles if you're looking for an affordable place to sleep around the national park. Most everyone that was here the holiday weekend we visited was visiting the park. No huge complaints with this place.

A guy waiting in the lobby was nice enough to help me do an online price check and they were able to get me a lower rate for the night. They put me on the 3rd floor, which they said would be quieter from hotel noise. What they didn't mention was that there was no elevator and it was noisy with highway noise from facing out that way. Still, good views nonetheless. "Breakfast" just consisted of granola bars, juice, and coffee, so I'm glad I had brought another pastry with me to snack on. 2025 #12

I have never seen a Super 8 charge that level of rate for the standard of room with little amenities provided. This is the quintessential Super 8 - bare bones basics, a little run down and you really get only the room and I suppose free parking is worth mentioning. No in room coffee, the coffee provided in the "breakfast" room tastes like the pots have not been cleaned properly in a long while. Their breakfast consists of a basket of granola bars. I suppose if lodging is limited in this area they can charge these high rates for the rooms they provide and I respect healthy capitalism but this is not that. Pet fee is very reasonable at $15 per night ( that was a plus), and the front desk staff are very sweet and welcoming. Location is great, there is a Starbucks across the street if you are a coffee fiend like me... I simply had issue with the coffee here tasting not right. Beds are comfortable, rooms have microwaves and mini fridges. No iron/ironing board. I would find other lodging at these prices or just stay in a local motel at half the price delivering the same standard of room/property type.
