    King Bed.

Great service from the ladies at the front desk. This was a last minute booking to chase the northern lights. This is an older building and as the sign says, it's a Motel not a fancy Hotel with all the bells & whistles. The room & property was very, very clean. Inside the room had modern touches. New tv, & lighting, fresh paint job. A super comfortable bed & pillows. I wish more places would upgrade to laminate flooring like Aircrest. No strange smells or stains to contend with. Good water pressure and height for the shower head. And a great view from the common area balcony for some Aurora shots.

Clean room with memory foam mattress!

This motel was just recently updated. We were pleasantly surprised to see a clean hardwood floor and a clean room in general. I knew we would be checking in late so I called ahead and the person who answered the phone left a message for the night shift. When we arrived around 11:00, I thought we would have to ring a bell or call a phone number, but the front desk person was waiting for us! I read that this motel was family owned. It definitely has a family vibe, and the front desk person was gracious about having to wait up for us. The motel is on a busy road and it does have a small parking lot. If you're a light sleeper I would suggest ear plugs. I use a CPAP machine and there was a perfect side table for it with a plug nearby. We couldn't get the tv to work and I could see dust under the heater vent but the bathroom was clean. The toiletries are small (tiny chip of soap, ketchup-sized packets of shampoo), so bring your own. The hair dryer worked well. This motel is very close to the ferry terminal (we had an early ferry and appreciated being able to sleep in) and close to the National park. Also, I can't say enough about the mattress. It's memory foam and for the first time in a long time, I didn't wake up with a sore back!

Our family had to give this place a review. I was shocked that it's only a 3 at the moment. It's next to a main small town road, and the door did have some air that let the noise come thru but it wasn't horrible enough to keep us awake. The bed can slide if you lean against it so don't come for the hanky panky, but like I said it was a family trip and my daughter was in the room too everything was super clean!!! The picture displayed was beautiful. The coffee maker was simple to use and they offered Dunkin' Donuts pod coffee which I was in heaven over! The beds and pillows were comfortable. I'm a cheapskate so I chose the cheapest around-when we pulled up I legit got scared and regretted my decision...but they came thru and pulled it off. Reminded me of a whole in the wall Mexican restaurant in Texas. Looks a little shady on the outside but amazing service. Husband had hot water the whole shower, and there were 3 bottles of shampoo left and it was enough for a long haired woman to use one bottle for (not sure of the earlier reviews that addressed this, coffee, and rugs). For the first time ever I didn't hear kids running back and forth or loud people in general at night or in am. They also recommended the restaurant across the street for breakfast and it was AMAZINGGGGG! We'd definitely stay here again!

    No carpet, everything is new!

Yay! A great new hotel choice in Port Angeles ! Rooms are clean, all redone, nice comforter, new bathroom, and the best is there is no carpet! The bed was comfy memory foam, the receptionist was kind and it was quiet. I did not use the tv or the refrigerator. Gone are the days of either over paying or staying in a rundown scary place. Yay! I hope this business prospers... I will be back. A couple little things - would love a better coffee maker or at least instructions on how to use. The parking filled up and I needed to park on the street. Was convenient for getting to early ferry.

External door doesn't reach the floor

There are some nice touches to this motel. The mattresses are memory foam and so comfortable. Blankets and flooring look updated. However, the door doesn't meet the floor and soundproofing really doesn't exist. And then you factor in the price which bizarrely got more expensive mid-week? I had to move on after 2 nights because this motel is worth 70$ on a weekend but not $95 on a Monday night.

Beautiful view from our room! Our room was clean and spacious. Nice size bathroom. It has a small area with a sink and cabinet. Coffee maker, tiny fridge and microwave! Everything we needed for our stay. Heated pool and Hot tub! Very nice! Good WiFi too! I really enjoyed staying here! It was close to nice restaurants, a golf course and close to the ferry to Canada! The only thing that was a disappointment was the Free breakfast didn't have the basic scrabbled eggs, bacon or sausage. The only eggs they served was cold hard boiled eggs. I opted for yogurt for my protein. Coffee was good. They had a waffle maker and lots of bagels, toast, english muffins, cereal all the basics but no warm eggs , bacon , sausage or hash browns :( Overall my stay was great! I would stay here again.

They are located on the outskirts of Port Angeles by the golf course. They are very close to the park itself and makes for a great place to stay when visiting the park. We reserved a 2 queen room with a golf course view months in advance. They gave us a room on the second floor. The room was nice and cozy. The 2 queen rooms have a nice sized bathroom with a tub/shower combo. My wife and daughter did complain about with the soap and shampoo for their shower. It has been a while since we've seen a bar of soap as most hotels use body wash now. The shampoo is a shampoo and conditioner combo. They did not like the soap or shampoo. Breakfast is served downstairs. It was continental breakfast only. No meats. Just waffles, toast, cereals, juice and coffee. It was good enough for the 2 days that we stayed there. They do have an exercise room with treadmills, ellipticals and dumbbells for you to lift. It was less equipment than at some other hotels, but it was enough for you to get a good workout. This might be the best hotel in Port Angeles. You don't have much of a choice. If you visit Port Angeles and want a nicer hotel, this is the place.

But if you come here with higher expectations then yeah, this won't be your cuppa tea. We wanted to go to the Olympic National Park, and saw that most peeps stay around the Port Angeles area if not camping inside the park. Therefore, we were looking for somewhere cheap, as we really just needed a place to crash. We found Riviera Inn through Expedia at a price tag that would have us save our pennies for what's more important like dining out and activities during our time in the Olympics. Therefore, for us, it was an A-OK place. Riviera Inn is located near the main downtown area of Port Angeles, so it was walking distance to businesses and the waterfront. It has free parking, rooms with a king bed, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, heater, cable and free wifi. When we arrived to Port Angeles, we arrived a couple hours before the 3pm check-in, but the staff let us check-in earlier, which was super nice. Staff was very friendly here. (Note that they are not doing room service during COVID-19; however, if you need anything, just contact the front desk.) The bed was actually pretty comfortable. I liked the location of this place the best, as we walked everywhere around town and was an easy drive to the national park and highway. But some cons were that it had a musky smell to it, so we kept the window in the bathroom open to air it out. That didn't help much though, as we could smell the musk on our clothes in our luggage when we got home. Another con is that the walls are thin. Unless the TV is turned on, we could hear the neighbors watching their TV. But honestly, this wasn't a bad place to stay in Port Angeles if you're looking for an affordable place to sleep around the national park. Most everyone that was here the holiday weekend we visited was visiting the park. No huge complaints with this place.
