This is the best gluten-free restaurant in Traverse City! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you will find something that makes your taste buds dance.

I've been here many times over the last few years, service while friendly is always slow.they don't have a ticket system so good luck when it's busy. Wings were Meh, however my smashburger was just a regular burger ITS NOT A SMASHBURGER! I asked the waitress for my smashburger and she stated they are all smashburger's I liked the fries no complaints there! Beer is ok but nothing special and I love beer!

As always we have to hit this spot our first night in Traverse City, and as always it never disappoints! Great food and vibes, it's a great spot to unwind after a long drive. Service is friendly and attentive, and always accommodating. Cheers!

Sometimes you just want a good brewery even with celiac disease. This place fits the bill. The food is great and the service is incredible. They are extremely conscientious if you have celiac or any type of food allergy. The servers wore gloves and said, "this is 100% gluten free," when they brought the food over. They also prepare food in a different area of the kitchen. Anyone with food allergies knows what a big deal this is! They also have gluten free drinks, like the delicious Cherry Riesling Spritzer. Flatbreads are so good and so are the deep fried pickles. Highly recommend!

Middle Coast Brewing has it all - great food, drinks, service, and ambiance. You can enjoy housemade/brewed/distilled beer, cider, seltzer, or cocktails ( Purple Rain by Man+Beard Bun Joe, anyone?) with perfect pub food. The hot honey cauliflower had the perfect balance of crispy, sweet, and spicy and is proof you are indeed what you eat! The Meat Dragon had my sweet and spicy self reenacting the "O' scene from the old movie, "When Harry Met Sally." We also had pepperoni pizza and the chicken sandwich. #nomnom!! It was clear they were setting up for a big group, but our service by Sam was outstanding, and our food was so fast. Chef Andrew came out to ensure we enjoyed his delicious creation, too. The games were on the tvs at the bar. The beer brewing gallery is in full view and really impressive. Also, I can't wait to enjoy a beer by the firepit later in the fall. The location is perfect. It's just one block off of busy Front Street and right across from Park Place Hotel. I can't wait to check out trivia and live music, too. The vibe is so great here with a team that you can tell like working there and together. That's always a sign of care and good leadership. It was noticeable, especially as they were setting up for a big party.

Went both nights on our weekend trip to TC! The cauliflower bites are amazing, and my dad said the wings were just as good. Also got the improbable burger which reminded me of impossible meat, and was also really tasty. Flatbread was also tasty - so far no misses on food! Service was really quick and the live music created a welcoming ambiance. Drank cider, cocktails, and beer! 10/10

Great spot for celiacs! Tons of gluten free options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

We had a great time at MiddleCoast. We went for the gluten free menu. We had such a nice dinner that we went back there the very next evening. And a bonus... the food was truly gluten fee... no surprises!!

Amazing celiac safe options! It was hard to choose what we wanted. Recommend the fried ice cream for dessert!

Although the wildfire smoke likely kept some people away, we came around mid afternoon in what should be the beginning of prime time hours and the place was empty. Not a good sign. I found it a bit odd that we had to order at the bar, considering only 2 other groups were there. There were like 4 employees just chatting away at the bar as well. At this point I know what I like in craft beers and I usually never have an unpleasant experience trying them, but we liked nothing we ordered on the beer flight! We had put in an order for the BBQ flatbread as an appetizer as well, and the chicken was super dry. I can't blame the sauce for being to spicy since I'm sure it's a popular local brand. That one's on us. We decided to have an actual dinner closer to our cabin.

So I want to be cautious here as I know there is new ownership from what I heard. My wife and I…read morecame here spontaneously as we were in town for the weekend. When we ordered, the bartender didn't drink which made it hard to know what certain beers taste like, but honestly, no judgement because he did the right thing and offered tastes of beer which was awesome and helpful! So service wise I would say great! The beer tasted really good as well and was decently priced. They had a bourbon barrel stout which was pretty good and newly released. The biggest issue we had was with the food. I ordered the spam sandwich with chips and my wife ordered the chicken quesadilla. While the food was cheap, the quality of the food also seems that way too based off what we ordered. The spam sandwich was supposed to be teriyaki flavored, and didn't get any of that. There wasn't a lot of thousand island dressing on it too, which made the sandwich dry. The chips that were served were clearly out of a bag as they were cold, which made it seem like I could have just gotten a bag myself. I would have paid a few dollars extra to get something fresh like fries. While spam comes from a can and I know this, my wife's chicken quesadilla had chicken that was clearly from a can - it was sopping wet, and the meat was very chunky, and very salty. This made us worry the rest of the food may not be very fresh. While we did have that experience, I will say the pretzel bites were really good and did seem fresh, and they were sourdough! So that was nice. I think this place has very good beer, and a really cool bar setup with a nice stage, arcade machines, and much more. However, I wouldn't come back here for lunch. Instead, I would make food at home. I would highly recommend more fresher options, and I would pay a little more for better quality food.

It was a mixed crowd, with lots of families and young children. I had the Northwoods Blueberry Açaí mineral water while I waited and it was SO GOOD. When we got there, the hostess warned us that the pizzas were taking up to an hour to make. I appreciate that they warned us before we committed to dining there! We didn't mind the wait. There are no waiters, so you order everything at the bar then they bring your food to you with a table number. I ordered the raspberry beer and it was really good. I typically don't like beer, but I love fruit flavors. As an appetizer, we got the red pepper hummus and it was meh--I didn't really like it. It was thick and had the texture of cold refried beans and instead of pita, it was served with tortilla chips that tasted like Tostitos brand. For my flatbread pizza, I chose the Wolverine which was topped with pineapple, pepperoni, jalapeños. I've never had pineapple on pizza so I can't really be a good judge, but it was alright. I liked how thin the crust was. For dessert, we got the mini ice cream bars as recommended by the woman sitting near us. They're Ice Box Brand Ice Cream Bars by a Michigan-based company. They sell two sizes: regular and mini. I chose a mini toffee crunch and it was the perfect size. It was really good. I'd love to just buy these ice cream bars to have at home!!
