Don't mind my finger, too lazy to crop. Good moral creature!

I've been here maybe three times, and I have to say after each visit I ask myself why don't I come here more often. I had the Cherie cider, magnifique. They were hosting an after Valentine's party for our local humane society. As I vastly prefer animals to humans, I needed to go. It worked out as I stopped at a friend's home across the street afterwards, to talk about watching her animals while her family goes out of town. I thought the bartender was super personable and I enjoyed making friends with a beautiful and dignified German shepherd.

This was a great spot! We came in and had a seat at the bar and chatted with the bartender. She let us know about a deal where you can have a TC passport stamped and get a free shirt once they are all stamped. Unfortunately, we had already been to all of them and this was our last brewery in the area. Boo! But we saved them and now we can use them next time we come! Always great to have an excuse to come back! Also, one of the breweries on the list is not open yet. So we needed to come back and get our tag anyway. We ordered a flight to split and they were all quite tasty. They had a great variety on tap and we really enjoyed our visit. We grabbed some merchandise and of course a couple tagabrews. We would most definitely come back!

The fact that the parking lot was empty on a Friday maybe should have been a red flag? I was on a brew tour in TC and wanted to try this place out. They let me sample a few different beers before I decided on the one pictured and this was a pity beer as they let me try a bunch so I felt obligated to buy at least one round. I did not like it that much, it was tolerable though. These are not your typical craft beers (farmhouse style) and I can say they're quite different.

Great outside space with a big fire pit and wind blocks! We stopped by in December and got a flight and a pint. The staff were nice and knew the beer. I really liked the basil beer and sweet corn beer. The red sour was my favorite. It was easy to get to. I bet this place is great in the warmer months.

This is a hidden gem! Nice drive out away from the busy side of T.C. Clean, inviting place. Super nice bartender Tiffany and she was training Katie on her first day. We had a flight- all amazing beers. Better than expected- the flavors were so good and spot on. The service was great. We will be back when we have more time.

Thank Goodness there is a a brewery that still offers a great stout and porter selection in Traverse City Michigan. I love Terra Firma beers. Today I had a great selection and drank one taster before I could take a picture. I had Man in Black Oatmeal Stout; Ancho Chili Chocolate Porter; Squatch Brown Porter; Four Leaf Irish Stout; & Black Orchid Vanilla Porter. What's not to like? The bartenders are always nice and courteous, outdoor seating. Inside bar is bright and very clean. I love this place!

Wow, I fell in love immediately. I love that they are on a farm and use crops on their farm for their beer and food offerings. I rolled in on a rainy Friday and had the absolute best time! The bartender was very helpful at walking us through the beer menu and offering suggestions based on taste preferences! After we found what we liked, we played table shuffle board and laughed our butts off. After an hour or so we noshed on some crackers and cheese they had as snack option made from a local business (if I remember correctly). The place is pretty spacious. Plenty of bar seating, tables, couches and a cute outdoor space (didn't really check that out because of the rain). The ceilings are super tall, makes you feel like you are in a very modern barn. Love the vibe and can't wait to visit again! This is definitely off the beaten path of downtown TC but oh so worth the short drive out to it!

Went here on a whim after a bad experience at Right Brain. We got there 15 minutes before they closed, but they still let us get a sampler and stay an hour to drink it. The staff was very friendly & accommodating, the taproom was roomy & clean (more like a restaurant than a typical bar). The beer was good too, my favorite was the Copper Grasshopper. Apparently the owner was formerly the brewer at Right Brain. The location is a little out of the way, but worth it for those more interested in trying new beers than in a bar scene.

Good place, relaxing atmosphere, unique beers that for me as a brewer , were quite accurate on the description and style. I would come here again.

Excellent, excellent selection of beers. My favorite by far was the Black Orchid Vanilla Porter; one of the better Porter's I've had. The IPAs they have are smooth and flavorful. Very friendly and helpful staff that will lead you through their great selection of brews. The only minor take away is the atmosphere seems commercial with the vaulted ceilings and new construction feel. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it takes away from the intimacy of your local brewery.

Look for their sign, Terra Firma.

Had the Scottish Heather Ale and it was delicious! One of the owners, "Captain Matt", sat down with us for a nice chat. They conserve the water used for cooling the beer to water the gardens. They grow their own beets, pumpkins, and hops. They also tend 40+ beehives. Way up on the cool scale! Very smart owners!

Highly recommend the Sun Cup Lemon Wheat Ale!

Prices are on par with touristy craft beer destinations. We appreciated the quick accommodating service and the waitress going out of her way to find the FIFA England vs. Panama game. Food was good. I had a Caesar salad with sardines added for $2 and a cheddar white ale soup. Everything was good and fresh. I had a bite of hubby's walleye fried fish sandwich and the tartar sauce was out of this world good. I enjoyed the added ginger. Overall, a nice easy stop along the way. We appreciated they could accommodate 10 of us and indulge the birthday guest with a special German chocolate cake that was purchased at another location. Very awesome customer service. Check them out next time you're downtown and want a local brew pub with good food.

The slight cherry tang invthe bbq sauce created a very appetizing taste. The wings were cooked perfectly and I highly enjoyed them. I ordered the Pork Chop dinner ($29). This is a local michigan-raised pork with a cherry apple chutney. The pork chop was excellent and the cherry apple chutney was a great addition. It came with mashed potatoes and a cucumber corn medley. They both were very good. North Peak Brewing makes their own Root Beer. Honestly that why I chose to come here. Thankfully the Root Beer was excellent. The service was friendly, but not very efficient. I think they are short staffed because the bar tender was also my waiter and he was busy bartendering! Overall I still rate this a 5 star review. The Wings, Pork Chop, and Root Beer were all excellent and I would return for any of them. So yes I would Return.

Since they allow dogs, we walked down there and had dinner. We only had a few minute wait so they could set up our table and then we were seated. You order at the counter so we got an order of spinach dip and the one of their flatbread pizzas. The pizza was good! Service was a little slow but it was a Saturday night. Unfortunately we never got our spinach dip. A girl came around and said it was sent out and then given to another table. They also said they'd refund it but I've still yet to see a refund on my credit card. I even asked the bartenders about it and they said they'd take care of it but still nothing. So I guess I'm out the money. I'd recommend d the place but their wait staff seems a bit chaotic and frazzled so I guess just be prepared for that.
