Two instances of lies. Then there was the dealership not answering my calls. One thing after another. My hypothesis is that the dealership regretted the sale to me and instead sold the truck for a higher amount of money. BEWARE this dealership has no integrity and lacks honesty. Five Star Dodge in Albany gave us a bad experience just like their sister dealership, Five Star Ford in Warner Robins. Five Star Dodge was good, dependable, communicating, and keeping promises until we signed the paperwork and got the four owed items completed on our truck. We purchased our truck about a month ago and are already disappointed with this dealership. Talked with a manager named Andrew on 15 May 2024, and showed him the paperwork and the above review/complaints. No resolutions were achieved except to solidify the never going back decision. Here are the reasons: 1- Lost handicap/ veteran disabled license plate: Andrew stated that license plates are lost or stolen often. Indicating he was aware of the continued problem. 2- Promised hitch adaptor: Was not on the "We Owe" list, so not a dealership problem or promise. That was a deal between our salesman and us. Shortly after we left, Andrew called and said he talked with his General Manager, now they want to reimburse the cost of the adaptor we purchased about a month ago. Caleb also called later that afternoon, stating that he had forgotten about the adaptor. It was his fault and he wanted to make it up to us. We had nothing further to say to him. 3- Our salesman Caleb: Andrew stated that Caleb was our true salesman. Confusing because we dealt with both Proctor and Caleb most of the deal. Proctor has been emailing us, not Caleb. 4- TAVT charged: Still no resolution on whether it has been charged at the time of the deal. Andrew indicated by conversation that it was our fault/ neglect if the TAVT was charged because we did not submit a DD214. Which was never mentioned to be needed by the dealership. Andrew memorably stated a next-time purchase, which will not happen. He also said to not diss (give a bad review) over a deal between you and your salesman (the hitch adaptor). Most definitely not a dealership to ever do business with at all and any more. Five Star Dodge in Albany is not dependable, not trustworthy enough to keep promises, and fails to communicate with their customers. They work hard to make the deal, but after signing and completing the basic deal we feel abandoned and disappointed. We would not recommend buying a vehicle from them. read more

Not learning MY LESSON and thinking things have gotten better since Covid, I had the car towed on today around 9am, no call saying that the vehicle was received or nothing by 5pm. After calling several times, Finally spoke with a service tech who states it will be 2-3 weeks before a diagnostic could be done because they were backed up. Upon taking it to another Dodge dealership I was told my "new electric problem " happened because there were fuses missing. 5 Star took them out so that I would to come back for more service and more money to spend there. If I could give zero stars, I would. Went there for warranty work and they refused to service the vehicle under warranty work. They "diagnosed" the problem but blamed another Jeep dealership for "shoddy" work that was causing the issue. I took it to another Jeep dealership for a second opinion, they diagnosed it in 5 minutes, ordered the part, and had me reschedule an appointment. Three days later I returned with the vehicle, the vehicle was repaired, and I didn't have to pay a dime. I also had them look at the alleged "shoddy" work and there were no issues as expected. Five Star Albany wanted over $1,000 for the repair because they refused to repair the vehicle under warranty. Save yourself some trouble and go somewhere else. read more

I decided to look up Albany, GA's AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram on Yelp while waiting to speak to someone about the airbag recall on my vehicle. So far I've been disconnected 4 times, hung up on twice. Someone finally pick up and they acted as if I was inconveniencing them. If these people can't even work their own phone system, how can I trust them to service my vehicle properly? I've decided, from now on, I'll take my vehicle to a Dodge dealer in a completely different city to have it serviced I've had horrible service from them when it was Carl Gregory Dodge and it seems NOTHING has changed. To Whom This May Concern: I am writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction with the service department at Albany, Chrysler, Dodge Jeep located at 701 E. Oglethorpe Blvd. Albany, Ga 31705. On March 26, 2020 I took my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 in for a recall service repair on the vehicle's ABS and rear end. June 1, 2020 said vehicle was picked up and I immediately noticed that the vehicle had a "whinining" sound coming from the rear end. I called back to the dealership and spoke with the Service Manager Rob Goins in regards to the noise. As I began to explain the situation Mr. Goins interrupted me mid-sentence and said "His department did not do anything wrong". Quite naturally I became suspicious and took the vehicle back to the service center. After they "checked it out" they quoted me a price to fix the vehicle. I declined the services and requested to speak with the General Manager. After several attempts at communication over the course of 2-4 weeks I was met with excuses and lie. To this day I still have not received a resolution or even a call back from the staff to acknowledge that they have received any calls regarding this issue. At this point I have accepted the loss. However, as a loyal customer I am deeply disappointed in their lack of communication, dedication, and respects towards me. If anyone is considering going to Albany, Chrysler, Dodge Jeep to purchase a vehicle or get a service to your current vehicle please reconsider and go another route. If you could give 0 stars for their service I would! I have had nothing but trouble out of this dealership from day 1! A few weeks after getting my car from here it had a faulty taillight and had to have it replaced. I ordered it from them in October 2018 and still have yet to receive the tail light. Decided to go to another dealership and had the taillight with in the next 48 hours. I also had issues with the USB port and took it to the service department here and one of their representatives told me I didn't know what I was doing when I was putting my charger into the USB port and that's the reason it was not working. Needless to say I made them replace it. Next I have had issues with my touch screen navigation over heating and decided to take it to a different dealership because this one was absolutely no help. The adhesive is bubbling and one of their representatives told me it was fine. Decided to get a second opinion and took it to another dealership out of town where they told me to get it replaced, it was a bad screen & to take it back where I got my Jeep from. Went back to this dealership and long story short was given the run around. Finally got a hold of the service manager, who they said had left months ago, who put in the paper work to Chrysler. After about a week, I contacted Chrysler and Chrysler said they haven't even received the paper work. Had my father call up there because as a young female (over 25 might I add), I felt like I wasn't being taken seriously. They told him I completely different story. This has been a nightmare and the worst dealership EVER to deal with. I hope no one ever has to deal with the constant nightmare I have had to go through and I will NEVER recommend anyone to buy a vehicle from this dealership. After waiting for over two weeks to hear something back from them, my father contacted them wanting an updated and they let us know they would not be fixing the navigation screen that is a manufacturer problem. This is the worse dealership I have ever had to deal with along with the staff. The are rude and unprofessional. If you want something done you as a customer basically have to take it upon yourself to get it done. I'm surprised that the many disgruntled customers I've seen haven't posted their un-satisfaction of this place as yet. I took my vehicle to AutoNation three days this week for the same problem and they have as of yet to troubleshoot the issue of my vehicle. While your vehicle is there they never call to tell you the status, you have to call them. They are so lacking the knowledge of these vehicles. Not sure Dodge will be my next vehicle of choice. I'm not sure what the deal is with this place.I assume its the lack of management with the Service department. While waiting to pick my truck up and take it home un-fixed, the phones were ranging off the hooks. The Service tech guys were just watching the phone ring and never answered. So now I understand why I'm never able to reach anyone by phone in that Dept. Hopefully, I was the only one experiencing these encounters with this dealership. I fell for it again!!!!! I stopped going to the Chrysler in Albany because most of the time I took the vehicle for servicing or for just about anything else, I ended having to go back to them for the same reason or something else. I won't write about past experiences which have not been good, and I'll only stick to this one. I thought that since autonation took over,things will be different. I brought my T&C in for a safety recall on and also told them that the oil light was coming on and off sometimes and to do an inspection and give me recommendations. Recommendations were $946 (700 labor) but I'm ok since I am not mechanically inclined and as long as my van is fixed I'm ok. They worked on the van Saturday 6/18 and Monday 6/20 and 1st thing I notice is that the oil light is still on. The lead person there then tells me that he does not know how to take it off and that all mechanics are gone for the day. Then I notice that my touchscreen on the van is not working properly, only bottom quadrants work. I went back in and the guy tells me that they had nothing to do with that and that there was nothing he could do. I told him that maybe they mistakenly shorted something in it while working on the key fob and ignition or maybe the unplugged a cable. I honestly don't know how it works but they did something to it and now I cannot get anyone to get my screen fixed. I am positive that if I would not have taken it to them, my screen would still be working. I'm hoping that someone reads this and at least contact me and gets my screen back working the way it should. That screen is the heart of the radio system and w/o it, it is almost unusable (not entirely, but very tedious to use) If anyone at autonation reads this, it's a town and country 2008 worked on 6/18 and 6/20 in Albany and you can get my info in the system to contact me. Like many others, I wish I could give no stars, and the irony should not be lost on anyone that there are no reviews for this shamefully ill-managed business above three stars. From the moment I arrived for a routine oil change and tire rotation, the front line staff was uncommunicative and poorly trained, and the entire visit took almost two and a half hours, even when my car was first in the garage that day. I will never trust my car with this outfit again and I lament that with the dozens of people who are apparently on the payroll there, perhaps one or two actually appeared to do really solid work. The others are more interested in talking loud, telling stories, eating in public (with greasy bags of fast food on the front counter where customers enter), and generally not paying any attention to customers. If it were not for having a Chrysler service contract, I don't think I would go there.

First off I attempted to make my appt online three weeks ago and it states on the confirmation page a service member will call you with further confirmation I never got a call when I called days later was told now they were booked but since I work during the week during service hours I would have to come on a weekend and today was the only day they had. Then when I confirm for today they act like I am not even in the computer and when I made my appt I Was told to Go the the Hyundai side so I get there and every damn door is locked and the girl makes me walk all the way to the other side of the building and then says you got to go next door. So here I am. The guy at the service desks is not thrilled to be at work and it's beyond apparent. He is mouthing crap under his breath about ever customer. Gets upset when a lady whom he had just been rude too tells him she won't give him a five star reviews after he rudely tells her " your gonna get a survey you have to give me five stars or my job depends on it" she tells him he should give five star service he huffs and walks away. He is punching the key board so hard as he types they may need a new one by tomorrow , he tells me to go get my car and drive it to the service bay and wait there I sit for ten minutes and walk back inside and he says oh... it's gonna be awhile you gonna wait?!? I say my appt was for 12:30-1 ( she gave me a window) and I'm gonna stay he says well you may be here three hours. I genuinely cannot tell if he has a condition or is just grumpy or is maybe on something. He mouths under his breath no matter who he speaks too and he is rude to literally every person. This is not FIVE STAR service. Honestly I'm suppose to have another one or two compliment services since my car is brand new ( I was originally told three then was told two) apparently no one knows but after today I can't say I want to bring my car back period complimentary or not. I am appalled at the lack of service and we planned on make a second purchase after Christmas but now we are looking at other dealers period. Our story we've emailed to GMs, and above and below and still got no where, staff was quick to ignore us, continued to play on their personal phones, and typing on the computer and refusal to speak to me. With off course made me very upset as we have tried to call Numerous times and have had numerous problems going back to the day we dropped off our journey for repairs. Our calls never got returned, no one knew what was going on, so we decided with a need for a vehicle to Just trade in. The Wednesday before thanksgiving we agreed with Leroy to come in at 330 to finalize everything get the car and review the paperwork before it was sent out of state for signatures to ensure everything was correct..mind you we have purchased several vehicles over our time in many states being military and never had issues and know the process well. Instead of waiting for our 330 agreement Leroy proceeded to call and text me at a min of 15 times in 1.5 hours while I'm at work. I had to finally tell Him to stop. And only my husband went. Off course the paperwork wasn't ready, we agreed to come Back Saturday. We showed up and were questioned why were there and that they'll have everything handled. We waited quite sometime and even my husband went to Tyrone and asked him hey we scheduled this and he just lifted his hand and asked us to leave and wait. Finally someone came to help us and he had no knowledge of the deal. He did the best he could but our questions got answered incorrectly once we did research which gave us the opportunity to call numerous times to Tyrone to explain why this was said and it was not this off course took Hours for someone to call us back.the title paperwork was sent to the wrong county, and we found out a week before our temp expires. We tried to call The dealer several Times and all VM to try to resolve this title issue. So we came to the dealership. Tyrone another white gentleman were sitting there in the office behind glass. I went in and said I need to talk to a manager, I don't want a voicemail or Tyrone I want an actual manager because yet another mistake was made. And how can you as a person paying on a 40k loan with someone's name on the line who's holding this loan, not be upset with a dealership who has one job to handle its customers. Mind you my husband did come Friday left work as we couldn't get a hold of anyone and Tyrone told him he had another deal and couldn't deal with him so my husband said what was on his mind on how we've had nothing but problems and he would have never ever stepped into this dealership if we didn't have to but we had no choice with our car needing repairs at a dodger dealership near us. So back to today, they both ignored us. Continued to type. I said hey, and told them the issue with the title and the wrong vin being sent to the bank. The payment is due, the incorrect vin was for collateral. I mean come on, I told him we had called and called, no one gets us anywhere. We're fed up. It's been 6 weeks or so. I mean enough is enough. Then they start saying how the phone is messed up and they got voicemails. Well why don't y'all say that? Well we can't control people in the building? If it's a known thing your voicemail doesn't work why are you allowing us to leave voimcemails. Which in return feels like we are being ignored? Tyrone gets back on his phone. And the guys next to him starts saying I'm Just gonna withdraw and void the deal. Um excuse me? How does that work? He's like well we lost money on it anyway and it was a horrible deal and you're a misberable person and leave. Okay that's cute. I'm Miserable because you didn't do your job? And you are rude? And have been nothing but rude and ignoring us for weeks and have made so many mistakes and we have no right to be mad. And Tyrone chimes in and says, well your husband was here yesterday and he pissed me off that's why I didn't talk To Him. Well I mean when you're ignoring us, making constant mistakes, don't return our calls, and we have to show up non stop to babysit we don't have a right to be pissed of but you do? And call people miserable? so I spot the journey outside and out of coursity since no one would tells us what was wrong with the Journey I decided to ask? Can you give zero stars?? I am basing my review 100% on the parts/service department. I asked for a quote on two head lights and a side mirror. They quoted me $462. I foolishly accepted and paid for the parts. I was then told it would cost $150 to install the parts, which I also paid for. The next day, I dropped off the jeep. When returning they had only replaced ONE headlight, not two. When I questioned them about it, they said that was all I ordered. Now remember.... Their employee came to my car to write the quote....they said they couldn't do anything else for me....after I gave everyone in the dealership a piece of my mind....the service manager and parts manager actually went and hid till I left... I then went to NAPA Auto Parts and purchased the head light. The one the Jeep Dealership had just screwed me out of, for$97......not the $382 just charged to me by the dealership for ONE headlight!!!....bunch of damn crooks.... I typically do not comment on such experiences, but I felt compelled that others should be aware of what they can expect from this dealership. The issues I describe herein are only the most recent in a long series of calamities. This service department lacks basic service delivery skills. I'm not sure that it's in the technical staff, but the administration culture is one that shows little sign of genuine concern for customer satisfaction. I am certain that no change will happen to improve the level of service from poor to great because this feedback can't cause someone to genuinely care about my satisfaction. I've spent more time in the shop with this vehicle that all previously 7 or 8 vehicles combined, many of which are due to not correcting the problem this first time or having to take time out of my day to deal with poor customer service. The last issue was on a basic inspection where they failed to identify that I needed an engine air filter. I drove back to the dealership where the Service Manger apologized for it and told me how much it would cost me for my inconvenience. He told me they had to order the filter and he would call me when the part arrived. He did not call me. I went back up there and he then told me that they ordered the wrong filter, they would reorder and he would call me. He did not call me. Mr Service Manger, a change in the service culture here begins and ends with you! You are the example. Put customer service 1st on the priority list! After this, I took my car back for a vibration in the steering. On a Friday, they found a bad wheel bearing, said it would be in Saturday, and said they would call......no call. I do not expect a call. I also anticipate that my car will continue to vibrate. I hope not, but I've come to expect disappointment. I expect to be labeled as one of those customers that just can't be made happy, or that I'm the exception to the rule and scores indicate 99% positive customer satisfaction. I wish I could do or say something that would change service culture of these folks, but I can't. I have owned a lot of Chrysler products, but I changed from Chrysler to Nissan on my wife's car and I will be switching to Ford on my next. I bought what I considered to be a premium vehicle that would give me few problems and have a great service department. Horrible experience. If I could give 0 stars I would. Tanesha is not a good salesperson at all. She wasted my time and my gas. Tyrone Hall, the manager, never answers his phone or returns calls. Customer service is nonexistent. This was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. They don't inform the customer about what is happening during the application process and then just tell lies to get you to leave instead of just saying you're not approved. They ran my credit twice and then called to tell me that I don't have a credit application on file. They then asked me to do another application. Took car in for service at a noon appointment on April27, 2016. Told all service techs at lunch and would not look at it until 1:20 pm. Went to check on status at 2:00pm with service writer. I was speaking to service writer when service manager interrupted and asked service writer to come into his office, leaving me standing. Another service writer returned and never greeted me so I spoke to him. Same culture. If you have self-respect and want to be treated like a customer, do not take your vehicle there for service. read more

They are thieves literally (they stole our tool box out of the cab of our truck. WORST EVER. DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT have your vehicle serviced here. It will be worth your time to go anywhere else than AutoNation in Albany GA to have your vehicle serviced. We took our truck in for what was supposed to be a 4-5 day repair and it took them 3 weeks. Very poor communication. Left a message for the General Manager who obviously couldn't be bothered because he's never called back. We finally got to pick it up only to discover that our tool box had been stolen out of the back seat. The new Service (there's no service here) Managers attitude was..sorry. We filed a police report and Scott, the "service" manager and the service writer both said that they've been having a "problem" with this for a while now. I have had no problems as of yet with the service department other than they did not find the problem with my Cherokee but when I looked it up on line and consumer report apparently the problem I am having with my transmission is very common with this year model Jeep and all service departments should know how to fix them. The Sales department is the Absolute WORST after you sign on the dotted line. I WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER JEEP OR ANY OTHER VEHICLE FROM THESE PEOPLE. I had my wife's Jeep serviced at Auto Nation and the experience was OK. The real problem I had with their service department was that they NEVER answer the phone. The last time I had service done... Or didn't have service done was before the buy out. You had to call and make an appointment to have your oil changed. I never went back. With the new ownership I thought I would give them a shot. I called to find out if I stilled needed an appointment. The phone just rang and rang. Finally Mary answered and I ask if everyone was gone. She said there were people there and paged them. Still no answer. I tried again the next day with the same results. I was going to take it to a Quick Lube or something but had to go to the MCLB so I stopped in to see. They took care of me with no trouble and, while I was there I saw them answer the phone. read more

We have been dealing with this bunch of clowns for a year with no resolution to our cars problems and every time we take it to them they screw up something else. They supposedly have the records of the "service" done on our car but never seem to know the history of the vehicle. Their mechanics are the WORST I have ever seen. They don't know their butt from a hole in the ground. I don't think they have ever gotten any training on working on cars. They have now gotten our vehicle out of alignment and caused the brake rotor to warp and chew up the front tires. He was never available when I called and never returned message to call me either. Nice Leadership!! I am a out of town buyer and had James M. as my sales person. I bought a 2011 Toyota Sienna. I specifically asked about body damage and how the paint was. He said "There is no damage and the paint is in great shape". I had the car delivered to my condo in Florida and was not there for delivery. The car had a wrecked passenger front bumper and missing the fog light black cover, 4 12" scratches above that as well as paint damage on the entire front from bugs that wont come off. Then as soon as we put the key in the ignition and started the first time all airbag lights on dash where on and so was a SRS warning on display screen saying get to dealer asap. I called and asked about this and James said" It wasn"t like that when it left our store"- Which would be a huge coincidence!! I took it to the Toyota Dealer and they said it needs a new Spiral cable for the airbag system- $1000 installed. I overlooked the brakes that are shaking when you apply them , I also overlooked the body damage and paint damage that James said wasn't there but I wont overlook the airbags not working. They also had me sign a piece of paper stating there was no recalls according to them but in reality it actually has 4. I have been after them for about 10 days and just get the runaround and James M basically told me to quit calling him. I had both of my airbags replaced by AutoNation Chrysler Dodge (airbag recall) and they sent my vehicle back with the Airbag light still on. I asked why it was still on and why wasn't it fixed. They told me that I would have to pay for a electronic diagnostic on my vehicle ($167) for me to find out what is wrong with it. Ok, I'm just venting here.... If the light is on when you brought it in for the air bag, wouldn't you think if the light was still on after you installed the components you would troubleshoot the system and see what's wrong with it? I see, rip off customers so they don't come back for more service and why would if try to find out what wrong with it while I have it in here for service?.?Sounds like a good marketing..? Not. I am very unhappy with the service I received and I think people should think about service support at that dealership before purchasing such a costly item. Customer service was ok didn't really want the vehicle that was pointed out to me I probably won't come back to buy a fourth car from them

Awful, Awful, and Awful again. My sales person chakeia Jackson was very inexperience. I told her specifically what i was looking for in my vehicle, she sent an email of the total opposite. I will add there was a specific sales person that i asked for by name, however i didn't get her. I am sure she would of been straight up with me about everything. I came to autonation to purchase a limited toyota Avalon. In the pictures that was emailed to me clearly shows no sunroof nor moonroof, but Ms.Jackson, finance manager and some sales manager assured me it was fully loaded. I was given so much incorrect information about the vehicle, When the vehicle arrived some little short guy comes running out to shake my hand saying "ive looked the car all over and couldn't find a scratch in site. Not oly was it sctached, but dented as well. I was also told that the car would be inspected before i could get to take it home, and all was done to the car was rinshed off. Brought it back to there service department they next day due to clicking noise and car charger wasnt working and Windows barely goes up and down they (autonation) service department told me to take it to the toyota dealership because they didnt have that type of fuse, and to let them check out the other problems too. I will never purchase from autonation again. They need to clean house and get a new set of sales people. wonder if they would treat their wife,daughter,family or friends that way. #For the love of money some people will.do anything. read more
