I am considered a contractor's nightmare, as I am quite picky and have high expectations. But in our shower remodel process, this was very smooth sailing as the workers and especially Joe the project manager were extremely professional and very supportive. When I looked into doing this, I had four references through Angi. Five star bath had the best selection of materials and I was extremely impressed as Joe Dairman did not put down the competition but instead told me what they could do for my project. From start to finish the whole job went smooth. William came out and gave us an estimate. Then Joe came and set up a date to start and took a down payment. Next, two workers came on time at the arranged date. They worked 4 days straight. We had 1 bath converted into a walk-in shower, and 1 a whole new bath. The initial consult was good, but when the President Ron Bromberg showed up with materials for the job I was concerned. There was a disconnect from what I had agreed to. The crew who did the work were good and honest. I found myself going over the entire job I had agreed to with the consultant. Only to hear that they could not paint the reconstructed areas etc. Small area 6x6 feet just a shower. I did the painting during the project. When finally done, Ron said "I" needed to pay a subcontractor $1300. I was perplexed but I paid him. I would not recommend Five Star Bath Solutions. read more

We were scammed right from the start. We had a sales rep that claimed to be a supervisor come to the house. We were going to redo the main floor bathroom. We were concerned that our tub upstairs had some water around it. A moisture sensor was used and we were told that there was most definitely water behind our drywall and it is leaking around the tub. So we switched to having the upstairs tub pulled and a new tub put in and new surrounding walls. The man that did the work was efficient, professional, and just a pleasure to have in your home working. Sadly once the walls were taken down and the tub out, Surprise! NO WATER OR MOISTURE anywhere. So perfectly good drywall and a bathtub were destroyed for no reason other than a bigger sale. The new tub was put in and the surrounding wall panels, these were white. All the hardware came in the wrong color so they had to be swapped out once the correct color came in. So the faucet leaks I am brought another one, not the same style as the one I picked out but I still put it on. My "white" walls, are no longer white. I was told they are super easy to keep clean. Well despite my scrubbing and wiping the walls turned a nasty yellow color but the tub stayed white. So in a nutshell we spent a lot of money to have a bathroom redone that had nothing wrong with it and now it looks old and yellow like a smokers teeth and we are still paying it off. It took me a while to write a review out of shame that I fell for such a scam and that I trusted a salesman. Regardless of my shame the shower should still be white. read more
