New place I go is nice, staff professional and no drama, quite a change from this place.

I have been here twice. The first experience I had with Park Avenue Cleaners #3 was good. I took 6…read morepairs of jeans to be starched and they came out nice. My second experience took a drastic turn when I took 4 brand new pairs of jeans to starched. I had picked up the jeans and when I arrived home and started to put them away I notice that all 4 pairs were stained so I immediately called and they told me to bring them back for a redo. Mind you I live a half hour away. When the jeans were done the owner called me to left me know and to tell me he didn't starch them again he steamed and pressed them this time. When I got there the girl told me the stains came out so I grabbed them and left. When I put them in my truck I looked at them and the stains were still there so I went back in and told her so she got the owner on the phone and he told me that since the jeans weren't 100% cotton this is why it happened so I pointed out that I was wearing the exact same pair of jeans that they had starch previously, and it did not happen to them. The owner told me that he decided to hang a notice on the wall letting customers know this could happen after the fact he already ruined my jeans. I asked him what he was going to do about this situation and he told me that it costed him too much money to redo my jeans and that he in fact took my jeans to his home to put them in his personal washer because they don't have hot water at their dry cleaners. He refused to reimburse me for ruining my jeans which cost me $373.86 for all 4 pairs and didn't even offer to give me my money back for the service. All he told me was he did what I asked. I guess I didn't know that when you take your jeans to a dry cleaners to be starched that they are going to burn them and ruin them. I 100% do not recommend this place. They will ruin your clothing and not care about it and not do anything about it. If it was possible to leave less than one star I would.

Was ready by 4:30 pm pristinely cleaned and folded. Super friendly customer service. Was more than I expected to pay, but totally got my money's worth. Highly recommended!!

Response to owner's response to original review: When I…read morebrought in my dress it only had dirt at the bottom. I explained this and that it was dirt from red rock to your staff over the phone when I called to inquire about cleaning the dress. Any person would be emotional to find their prized possessions returned ruined and to be asked to pay $300 for the ruined dress. Any person would also be shocked to be talked to so aggressively while they are processing that their wedding dress is ruined and they are being threatened by Aiden that he would have to "take things from here" if they didn't run their credit card. The staff at Dove Mountain Cleaners were clearly out of their scope and had many opportunities to communicate this to me or inform me of what was happening with the dress throughout the process but they chose not to. It's clear that your company just wanted the money for the services even if you weren't capable of doing the work and it was out of your scope. I have since taken the dress to another company who informed me that the whole dress should never have been soaked in water and that you should have only cleaned the bottom of the dress, as the rest was still white and any small stains on the rest of the dress should have been spot treated only. The other company was shocked that Dove Mountain Cleaners would take a job they aren't competent to complete and then charge me for ruining my dress. It was clear negligence. Your staff being so unwilling to do anything to rectify their mistake is unacceptable and that is an unethical way to do business. The dress in all 3 of the pictures I posted is the same dress and it is illogical to blatantly deny that it is my wedding dress. Anyone looking at those photos can identify that it is in fact the same dress in a bag with a tag showing the dress was serviced at your store on that specific date and time. I also have pictures of the dress still perfectly white except for at the very bottom during the red rock photo shoot (see attached). I would have had to lay on the ground and roll maybe a dozen times to get that dress the same color that you returned it to me in. Let customers be on alert that Dove Mountain Cleaners will not inform customers if they are out of their scope and competency. As evidenced in their reply, they will not take accountability for their mistakes, and they might be so defensive as to even accuse you of a scam if they ruin your items. Take your clothes elsewhere if you care about your items and want them back in the same or better condition than you dropped them off in for cleaning!!
