The job was not easy and, in fact, my previous cleaner had returned it last time with a note that the dirt could not be removed for fear of damaging the material. It sits just n of dominos pizza , w of cvs & s of jack furriers ventana tire . West of it is the speedway gas & mini mart . Plenty of parking & 2 15 minute spots in front . Prices are competitive with big local chain that delivers but not as highly rated . I wish I found this earlier as they also have alterations at very competitive if not lower than I just paid driving across town ! 2 day turn around on my sport coat charging 13.25$ . Don't be fooled by its average Yelp rating for this hidden gem. I have tried 3-4 dry cleaners in the Foothills & its vicinity but this place, closer to my residence than the previous one, has been consistently reliable & efficient. Some might say they are somewhat pricier than others but they do not charge extra for mending minor holes, replacing buttons, or removing tough stains like other dry cleaners as most places charge extra , as much as $5.00-$8.00 per sewing a hole. I was very upset after finding out my pricy wardrobes had been attacked & eaten by moths until Ventana came to the rescue. They dry cleaned & sewn holes all of my precious premier designer dresses spotlessly and exquisitely. Like one of those clothes-obsessed- New Yorkers (& Tucsonans!) , I love & care about my clothes; what a great comfort to know that there is a go-to-dry cleaner in town! Not to mention , their seamstress does an exquisite work for alterations. This unassuming, genuinely kind, and elegant lady has altered few of my brand new wardrobes to the perfection with an attention to detail & with a militant precision. FYI, see the attached photos of her work. Most importantly, the cost of their alterations are extremely competitive and much better than others as she does not charge a project per hour ; rather, she charges it by project. Too bad, I have not been to the dry cleaner for a while due to this unfortunate quarantining that I have lost the opportunities to dress up. It's heartbreaking to see all these small businesses I care about suffering from this disaster. Why not dress up for Zoom meetings or cooking so that we can help them out, I wonder? This place is outrageously overpriced. Chose not to take my clothes here because of the price and they couldn't guarantee to get the stains out of my clothes and that even attempting to would leave a lighter color in the spots because of the harmful chemicals they use. UPDATE: I went to Sparkle Cleaners down the street on Swan and Sunrise and they got all the tough stains out WITHOUT ruining my clothes AND they were much cheaper priced. Ventana cleaners are the best in Tuscson as far as me and my wardrobe are concerned. Their location on Swan and Sunrise used to be my preferred store, but they closed it close to a year ago This location is their hub, where everything happens anyway. They've literally dry cleaned hundreds of items for me and have never damaged a single item. The staff is super friendly and all smiles too. This location offers same day dry cleaning, but since it's so far away from where I live now, I literally have to pencil my drop off days into my calendar. I've had poor experiences in the past with damaged clothing at other dry cleaners in town and I'm not willing to experiment with other dry cleaners since Ventana has been nothing but stellar. I can't recall pricing but I the quality is worthy every penny regardless. read more

So far so good. I haven't tried a whole lot of dry cleaners in town - perhaps 6-8. Cleaning and minor mending (like replacing a button) are an integral part of every work week. I have found some places to do flat-out poor work, to where a sport coat just doesn't feel right after the servicing or isn't noticeably clean and fresh. This place, by no means the closest to my residence, has been consistently good, although perhaps somewhat pricey. I fondly recall days of getting good work done on-the-cheap, but over the years, each special "find" has stopped providing service. As for now, even though the pricing here seems a bit higher than average - although I'm not speaking with any statistical data authority - I do not know of a place where I can get consistently good work like here. So until I get such a grand epiphany, this is my go-to place! read more

They did a good job on my shirts once, but I don't usually dry clean.

I took a couple of cotton button down shirts (mens) to get them pressed as I figured the pros would do a much better job in ironing or pressing than I would. My bf and I had an event to go to and I had asked if the shirts would be ready by the time the event took place, which was the following day. I couldn't emphazise enough that I wanted the shirts nicely pressed or ironed to the best of their ability and for them to do what it takes. They told me the shirts would be ready by the same day I dropped them off (dropped them off at 8am) and "yes we will get rid of all wrinkles". Upon picking them up at 6pm, the shirts still had some noticeable wrinkles, throughout the sleeves, the back and the front. I inquired about this and the owners were telling me one thing or another: "we needed to launder them, then iron if you wanted the wrinkles gone", "no, hot press would not work with this material", "we did a better job than you would have". I was kind of appalled that after much going on circles they kept finding one excuse over another to tell me they couldn't get the wrinkles out. I'm not a professional in this business by any means, however, I would have spent ZERO $ in ironing the shirts myself to end up with the same thing they did...instead I found myself still paying them almost NINE dollars for shirts that remain wrinkled. They did absolutely nothing to compensate me, nor did they seem to care. They just left me there by the register and they went about their business...I left the money on the counter and left. read more

I would pick 0 stars if I could. Just moved to town and tried them. They ruined 3 of my expensive dress shirts by melting them, which made them shiny. The manager (daughter of owner) said she would fix them and when I went back they were still ruined. The owner Yong Chul Yi told me they could do nothing to fix them, because the press was too hot and melted them. Wow! He would not even refund my cost I spent to dry clean them. The worst part was how I was treated and how they resolved their mistake. Avoid this place, because if you have a problem they will treat you like garbage. read more
