Response to owner's response to original review: When I brought in my dress it only had dirt at the bottom. I explained this and that it was dirt from red rock to your staff over the phone when I called to inquire about cleaning the dress. Any person would be emotional to find their prized possessions returned ruined and to be asked to pay $300 for the ruined dress. Any person would also be shocked to be talked to so aggressively while they are processing that their wedding dress is ruined and they are being threatened by Aiden that he would have to "take things from here" if they didn't run their credit card. The staff at Dove Mountain Cleaners were clearly out of their scope and had many opportunities to communicate this to me or inform me of what was happening with the dress throughout the process but they chose not to. It's clear that your company just wanted the money for the services even if you weren't capable of doing the work and it was out of your scope. I have since taken the dress to another company who informed me that the whole dress should never have been soaked in water and that you should have only cleaned the bottom of the dress, as the rest was still white and any small stains on the rest of the dress should have been spot treated only. The other company was shocked that Dove Mountain Cleaners would take a job they aren't competent to complete and then charge me for ruining my dress. It was clear negligence. Your staff being so unwilling to do anything to rectify their mistake is unacceptable and that is an unethical way to do business. The dress in all 3 of the pictures I posted is the same dress and it is illogical to blatantly deny that it is my wedding dress. Anyone looking at those photos can identify that it is in fact the same dress in a bag with a tag showing the dress was serviced at your store on that specific date and time. I also have pictures of the dress still perfectly white except for at the very bottom during the red rock photo shoot (see attached). I would have had to lay on the ground and roll maybe a dozen times to get that dress the same color that you returned it to me in. Let customers be on alert that Dove Mountain Cleaners will not inform customers if they are out of their scope and competency. As evidenced in their reply, they will not take accountability for their mistakes, and they might be so defensive as to even accuse you of a scam if they ruin your items. Take your clothes elsewhere if you care about your items and want them back in the same or better condition than you dropped them off in for cleaning!! read more

Dropped off my full size, white, king size comforter late this morning and requested same day service to machine launder (does not fit in my washing machine). Was ready by 4:30 pm pristinely cleaned and folded. Super friendly customer service. Was more than I expected to pay, but totally got my money's worth. Highly recommended!! read more

I am so disappointed with the service I received, I took three coats to be dry cleaned and two pants to be seamed again. The pants were great but the coats were clearly not done properly, I have used dry cleaning services for years and this is my first time ever, having a bad experience. It is my first and last time I use this dry cleaning service, in this economy, to be charging what you do and not do the job right, I don't think so. I've been a customer for over 8 years - ever since I moved to Dove Mountain. I'm there 2-3 times per month. Or a least I USED TO BE a customer. New owners took over about a year ago. I just picked up my shirts and realized that they're now charging $4.99 each. Wow. When I asked the young guy on the register why ... he gave me some Fox News/pro-Trump BS answer about how their prices are cheaper than any cleaner around here and we need a new president so that the prices will go back down after that. Shocking. I called all of the other surrounding cleaners and he lied - their price is the highest of anyone in this area. I highly recommend this cleaners. My clothes came out looking great. I asked about tailoring and she seemed like she didn't want to do it. Told me it's a lot of work so I didn't even ask how much. I haven't used any type of dry cleaning service in 15+ years, after having a bad experience with my last cleaner business, so I was hesitant to try again. After reviewing the handful of dry cleaners nearby, I settled on the Dove Mountain Cleaners because of their decent ratings. And, I had a great experience with the friendly staff. They were courteous and to the point, with realistic expectations and good pricing. I came back with my claim ticket and was out within 60 seconds. Save yourself the aggravation don't use this dry cleaner. I went to pick up my 18 piece dry cleaning order and the 15 year old working the counter couldn't find my order. He then decided to do the practical thing and look my account up in the system, and he found it! I had requested the cleaners not press my linen pieces with a crease down the middle, linen shorts and pants had creases. I described my frustration to the 15 year old (son of the owners) and he got combative. Then I paid my $119 bill but wanted to check my items before leaving the shop. I didn't find the belts to 2 of the dresses, the belts were attached to other garments versus the dresses they are paired with. I went to advise the 15 yo about the belts missing and he got real mouthy with me. I had dropped off a few more items but took them back because guess what Dove Mountain cleaners there's a dry cleaners on every corner. I'll take my business elsewhere. Mom and Dad, may I suggest you teach your 15 yo what customer service looks like. It doesn't look like being disrespectful, rude or acting like a white privileged 15yo. read more

I dropped off 2 suit jackets on Monday and needed them by the end of the week. My ticket said they'd be done at 4 PM Thursday but since dove mountain cleaners were open until 3 PM on Saturday there was no sense taking off of work on Friday to pick them up. I leave Monday morning for two back to back trips in New Mexico and Alaska where i'll need these suit jackets. I stopped in at 1:15 on Saturday to pick up my jackets so I can pack for my trip only to find out they were closed! The hours on the window have a 3 PM close, so do all of the apps mentioning this business, as does the ticket they handed me when I drop the jackets off. there was a piece of paper taped to the inside of the window that said summer hours they close at noon. No one would know that until they come after noon to pick up their clothes. Now I have to plan to stop in hurriedly on my way to the airport Monday morning and then fold the jackets and put them in my suitcase on the tailgate in the parking lot. This was incredibly inconvenient for me because I still have presentations to finish and documents to organize and phone calls to make on Monday morning before leaving. I really like Dove Mountain Cleaners, but I need to find a new cleaners that I can trust when they post their hours so I don't get in this kind of a bind again. read more

If I could give a 0 star rating I would. My husband took our comforter to be cleaned. Apparently it was damaged, there was a little tear and instead of calling us, it sat there. So my husband goes to pick it up and they tell him their story about how they won't clean it because of the tear. Ummm... have they ever heard of a phone? Are they incompetent? I'm guessing the answer is yes. I wouldn't recommend this cleaner because if something is not to their liking, rather than letting you know so you can fix it and either bring it back or take it elsewhere, they sit on it until you come to retrieve it. I just don't get it. This isn't about lack of employees or covid, this is about poor management. read more

I have used Dove Mountain Cleaners for two years now. Mostly for my wool suits and nicer shirts. So far I have not had any problems with the work and the clothes are cleaned on time. I am headed there with clothes today. My only problem was getting registered into the computer by my first and middle name rather than first and last name. To the one rant about not matching your phone number -- I had my laundry ticket and the problem was easily resolved. I guess I could express my frustration by assigning one star because I had to go 30 feet back to my car to get my laundry ticket. But does the business deserve this treatment? More so, Is it not better to support a local business that does a great job for the services I need? The other bad rating is a rant about paying a premium on extra large shirts . Yep that deserved a one star and 6 paragraphs.(sarcasm). So if you live in the Dove Mountain Area and need dry cleaning and/or laundry services I can recommend Dove Mountain Cleaners to treat your clothes well, make a best effort to remove stains, and delver your clean clothes on time. read more

I don't know what happened with the 2 reviewers below, but I use this place all the time and never had a problem, my stuff is always ready when they say it will be and it's priced right IMO. I've left stuff here for over a month before and lost my ticket on many occasions and they easily find my items and there is never an issue. read more

I'll never go back. I have been going there for the last 2 years off and on and today was the last straw. Walked in gave my telephone number....and they told me I had never been there before. So I corrected them gave my name and they told me again...I had never been there. So after checking the computer they eventually found a name similar to mine..... not really ....with a completely different phone number with pretty much the stuff I had brought in for dry cleaning with a bunch of stuff that I didn't. So it's Thursday morning and I ask when my items would be done and they said to come back monday....for 4 items. I grabbed all my clothing and left and will never return. Ruined two pair of brand new pants (pants were never worn, brought straight to the cleaners after purchasing from Dillard's). When I brought the issue to the owner, he said that "there's no way these could have gone out like that". He didn't argue that there was no way they could have been damaged by them, simply that they wouldn't have given me the pants back with that kind of damage, that they would have noticed it and said something. This was a ridiculous way to avoid taking responsibility...I guess he meant the damage magically occurred while the items were hanging bagged up in my closet. Going to try the dry cleaners one block away and hope for better luck. read more

Well, all I can say is if you believe in equality, courtesy, and professional treatment at the counter, do NOT go here. I took in a total of 7 men's sport shirts, and 6 women's. I asked in advance what the price was for dry cleaning this type of shirt and was told $5.75. When I plunked down the shirts, the tiny little woman (maybe 90 pounds soaking wet) proceeded to make a BIG deal about the size of my husband's shirts, which happen to be a plus size. First she announced the size aloud to anyone who cared to listen. Then she looked at me and holding her arms as wide as she could get them, told me the shirts were BIG. (OK, a plus size, not a circus tent). She then announced it would be a "little bit more" for the BIG shirts because they were...BIGGER. I couldn't believe my ears, probably looked pretty dumbfounded, but managed to ask, how much more? She rummaged around in her wee little brain for a moment and said $1.00 more, so $6.75 per shirt. And again announcing, "Because they are BIGGER" while she yet again, spread her bird like arms wide to indicate how very very BIG they were. She did add, "But not today." Because she had already told me $5.75 per shirt. i couldn't get out of there fast enough, and in my complete stunned condition, actually left the shirts to be cleaned anyway. But I simply cannot get over the random DISCRIMINATION of this whole exchange. I wonder if the 90 pound wonder charges LESS for those who are a tiny size 0, 2, or 4? After all, the shirts would be SMALLER, so therefore somehow less work, right? There were no signs posted, or anything else indicating that if she took exception to the shirt size, you will be charged more. This is the first time we've been there, and it will definitely be the LAST. I can't believe people can be so rude, especially in a business scenario where you supposedly would like to make a longer term connection with your potential customers. We travel a lot and have had our shirts cleaned in many different parts of the country, including expensive Washington DC. We have NEVER encountered a fee increased based on a plus size shirt. Lady at Dove Cleaners (probably the owner), you've got a lot to learn about simple, good old common courtesy.
