Bobcat worked on it three times making small repairs to a hydraulic system that was discontinued. I called it in and was told because I was busy bobcat had my back because it's a safety issue and when I get time just bring it in. I was wrong for believing them because they didn't want to cover the replacement of the whole hydraulic system. Told me I have a week to agree on covering half then a quarter of the labor. This all happened while under warranty until the end when it was outside the time for warranty. No one should have to pay more money for an investment while covered just because a big company panics over profits. The machine was picked up, repaired and returned to me within a week and it is now purring like a kitten. While Ariens themselves were not very helpful as I was disappointed with the purchase, Schaub spent extra time with me suggesting the best way to maintain the machine beyond the norm especially since it was apparently an older model from the Box store. I could not have received better service and communication about my machine. My biggest regret is that I purchased it from a big box store instead of an authorized repair shop like Schaub that is familiar with the tendencies of the machine. I'll add that I don't often leave positive reviews since good experiences are expected. I feel they went above and beyond, especially the mechanic, Kent, that communicated with me.
