It sends three times the cheer!" This arrangement was chosen as I support local florists and found that this florist offered a basket that honored exactly what the deceased loved; gardening and bird watching. I was shocked and mortified at what was actually delivered. There was never a call from the florist communicating that they did not have any of the items listed and would need to make substitutions. If that had happened I can assure you that a butterfly with a black x of tape across the back, pussy willows and a nose diving dove would never have been requested. Daffodils will never replace roses. When I called the shop thinking there had to have been a mix up- the woman I spoke to was very satisfied with her work, she stood firm behind defiant and all the while a man was screaming in the background. She did offer to send a bouquet of flowers to the recipient, I declined as I am fearful what would have been delivered. At one point they even said they would go pick the arrangement up from a grieving widow- what sort of customer service would even suggest that? You either make it right or you don't. They chose not to by stating what was sent was comparable to what I ordered. Let my $116 order and the photos uploaded help you chose who you order bereavement arrangements from in the future. Very unfortunate to have to experience such horrible customer service especially under the circumstances for which the order was placed. Buyer beware. Update: after my phone call- they added a disclaimer to their website about substitutions. Why order from a florist who now basically states "you get what you get and don't get upset" So very sad. Update part 2 - we recreated the original basket on our own with the help from Michaels and a couple of local florists who were mortified when the saw what has now been dubbed "the do it yourself Easter arrangement" Like if you paid to go to a beginners floral class as Michaels and you chose an item from each station to fit into your $3 basket. There are good people willing to help under sad circumstances. I hope the owner takes this feedback and does better. Bereavement flowers NEVER should have looked like that. Ever.

We got the stone pillars pictures after he showed us some in his displays on the wonderful property where AWG is located. So many beautiful fountains plus a large selection of Koi and water plants. He enticed us further by showing us a fire feature that was and option with the fountain we got. We did the install on our own and he was incredible with walking us through it step by step. He was there when we had small or big questions and was so friendly. He takes the time to leave his customers satisfied and happy which is the hallmark of a great businessman. If you're looking for a place to visit to see the splendor he has set up or to get a fountain I cannot say enough about this place and it's owner.

I was threatened with legal action for doing so. The owner then called back, out of control, telling me to listen to HIM and YELLED the worst obscenity a person could call a woman, calling me an f-ing c-word, then hung up! Stopped by the Gilded Lily for a little pick-me-up, as I recently moved to the area and was feeling…read morea little blue. I wanted to get some cut flowers to take home and arrange myself (I worked in my father's floral shop prior to moving to MA). I had shopped around at multiple grocery stores without finding cut flowers that matched the quality and price I was looking for. Everything was either of poor quality or way too expensive for the type of stems I was looking at. What I purchased: I bought (3) stems of pink lilies, (3) snapdragon stems and (5) alstromeria stems. The florist threw in some eucalyptus greens and other filler (I assume for free), wrapped it in decorative paper and plastic, then finished it off with a bow. Price: $34, including tax. This is slightly higher than what I was looking to pay for loose cut flowers, but the quality has proven worth it. I've had the flowers for about a week, and have had multiple lily blooms open. Staff: the florist/shop owner was very polite, great conversationalist. I did have to wait a few minutes until she got back because the woman who was working there did not know how to charge for and wrap the floral items. My only recommendation is to have someone present (during business hours) who can do simple loose cut bouquets (not even arrangements). Everyone was super polite and made me feel at home. As a note, getting into the parking lot can be a bit of a hassle as the cross-traffic never seems to stop. Overall, a great place for a bouquet of flowers, either for a special occasion or just a pick-me-up for the day.
