I used to come here a lot to get my car washed. One of the employees dinged my car. Right away they were in the defensive. No solution was provided. Try to blame it on the the car was dirty and because they washed it it showed the scratches more. The car is no older than 2 months. Customers keep in mind that when you come here you will be provided great customer service and maybe get a good 80% wash. BUT BEWARE. If an accident occurs. They will not take responsibility nor will they work with you. To find solutions. Owner says they have cameras but that they don't work. Very disappointed in the end. Wouldn't come here again definitely not worth the risk. Five star just lost a forever customer......Solutions for future. Take ownership of responsibility. Work with customers to find solutions. Invest in working cameras. And most importantly don't blame the customer for the accident that occurred in your business. read more

So I wanted to surprise my fiancé and get his car washed. I got the VIP Car Wash (most expensive) which was only $21 for the exterior and interior. They charged an extra $4 because he has a truck and it is considered an "XL vehicle." This was totally fine though because $25 is still cheap. 45 minutes later his truck was ready. Let me say... it was spotless! Every inch of the outside of the car had been dried by hand by 3 guys, the interior was thoroughly conditioned and the seats looked brand new. They did an AWESOME job and my fiancé was super impressed. They did such a good job that I tipped them $20. They worked hard on a truck that wasn't even really dirty. This is the cheapest I've ever paid for a car wash and it was probably the best job I've ever seen. The lady inside at the cash register was very friendly as well. Confession time. I don't take very good care of my car. It's an 07 Nissan bucket so I sort of just let things pile up until things get out of control and then I empty out the trash, rinse and repeat. Yesterday when I was emptying out the trash I discovered that one of my offspring didn't throw away his chocolate milk and with my admittedly crazy driving, things took a turn for my interior, not to mention the dirt and the crumbs and everything else in there. I felt sick. How could I let my poor little rust bucket go so far? So decided it was time. I'd driven in an embarrassingly dirty car long enough. It was time for my first detailing. Now, I'm not made of cash. This isn't a Ferrari so I just wanted a place that would make it look decent again. After finding 5 Star Car Wash on yelp, I checked out their prices and doing them to be more than fair for what I was about to put them through. Their website also has great coupons that sweeten the deal. I drove up and spoke to the owner. He didn't lie, this was going to take a while. He also didn't try to upsell me which was even better. I handed them my car, parked my butt in the lounge with my laptop and enjoyed some quiet time. There is free wifi and everything. I was there a little over 2 hours but WOW was it worth it! I really, truly don't even recognize this car anymore. They did a fantastic job. Needless to say, I've henceforth banned eating and drinking in the car... at least for a little while. read more

Saw this place on yelp and decided to give them a try. I stopped in on a Wednesday around 3:30 & managed to wait just under an hour. The waiting area is filthy and stained old chairs keep you company for the extended stay. The job wasn't bad, but nothing special worth waiting that long for. read more

Had my car washed here since Scottsdale didn't have any hand washing locations, they missed a lot of spots, dirt still around back bumper, I recommend looking for somewhere else. I even had to ask for a rag to finish wiping the top of the car where there was still bird poop since they failed to wipe it down. read more

$150 in cash was stolen from me here. I took my work vehicle in to get cleaned here. I had a deposit bag under the seat that I had forgotten about. On Wednesday, when I needed change, I took it out and discovered all the money was missing. The bag had oil all over it like they use to wipe down the dashboard. Not only that, but the cleaning was not that great. Talked to the manager and have him on video. He said the guys have been working here for 2 years. They are all good guys. Still love this place. I forgot to mention in my last review that what sets this place apart for me is it is all hand wash. No big machines smashing your cars paint covered in dirt from every car that's ever passed through. Plus it is honestly no pressure like the other washer. ALSO, I have never seen one of those super annoying windshield people lurking around. I have a small chip at the very bottom of my glass that I cannot see while driving. If you are lowered or afraid of your paint getting scratched by one of those $3 dollar wash places, Valley Auto Spa is a pretty decent car wash. They only do hand washes--no track, no machines, no brushes. They won't try to upsell you on their services, it's just an honest car wash in a pretty convenient location near the 101. The lobby is kind of old and outdated, but that's forgivable. Their break room is always opened up partially which I find a bit unprofessional. I wish they had fluffier, cleaner towels, but I don't really ever get residue or scratches so can't complain much about that. They obviously know what they're doing. Only thing that bothered me is that many of the guys don't know how to drive manual, yet they still operated my vehicle. I don't appreciate that at all. I'd rather the guy who knows how to drive manual well take care of my car, or I can drive it through myself. I can't speak much for their interior cleaning work (I prefer to do interiors myself because I am METICULOUS) but if I ever don't have time to wash the outside of my car, this place at least makes my car presentable. Don't go the auto shops nearby, though, they will put put wrong fluids in your car--I speak from experience. read more

It had been a while since I cleaned the inside of my car throughly and I had extra time this morning to stop in to get this done. My car was not that dirty, just a little dusty and I have dogs that travel with me frequently so dog fur was a plenty. Needless to say, they did a good job on the outside and the backseat. The front looked as if it was not vacuumed and the "cleaner" used only left everything oily (carpets included. My shoes are squeaking when I walk across tile). There were spots on the dash that I took a paper towel to and the towel came up black, but the spots went away. That, my friend, is not clean. The windows look good other than the streaks coming out from the crack on the windshield. In a nutshell, do not spring for the V.I.P package, it's not worth it. I went back today and the man who comes to your door was so rude and flat out refused to clean my car because I have dog hair in my car. I have been here before and they vacuumed the hair out just fine but apparently today it was a problem. Claiming the vacuum won't pick up dog hair they would need to detail it. When I asked how much that would cost he refused to give me a price. The proceeded to ask me why I want to clean it since I still have my dog.. wtf... even though I have been here before and they were able to get it out just fine even without a damn detail. I came to these guys before for both of my cars and they did a good job with the basic wash. I wanted to do the "VIP Wash" for my newer car and I specifically mentioned to them to be careful about the adaptive display screen on my dashboard. The guy nodded and said he took note of it. But they completely ignored it when applying the wax/leather protectant on the dashboard and now the adaptive screen has streaks on it. It's been a pain to get rid of the stains because it's a delicate part of the car, and in certain conditions it's difficult to read as well. read more

Paid $170 what I felt was big money for a thorough interior and exterior wash and buff, but I was fine with it knowing I was coming clear across the metro to make sure I use a highly rated car wash and come out with a truly clean interior. I had just bought my truck, the previous owner left baby barf and other nasties on the carpet and seat upholstery. I left it with these guys for five hours. All said and done, the car definitely looks better. Actually, from a distance the truck on the whole looks rather pristine, a customer even shouted it as I left. But there are still several spots on the exterior covered in dirt and mud, such as the driver foot step. The interior "detailing" was a hurried shampooing plus a wipe down job. There is still a huge amount of orange-ish discoloration and black gunk in the carpet. Small bits of white stuff were still on the dash; I'd let it go were it not for seeing things change as I scratch and wipe at some of these things myself with my bare finger. The speedometer and radio had to be wiped down again before I got in the car. The car was already covered in scratches and wear, the seats had glue and cigarette burn marks, so of course I didn't expect to see any miracles, these issues don't just wash away, but come on. Orange colored goo still seeped in the carpet? Oh well. Not coming back. Had more luck with a local, lower-rated car wash service in my own neighborhood. read more
