Requested almond cat eye, the shape is all crooked , the nail tips they use are curling down and make your nails look like claws even after they cut them down. The vibe is very unorganized and dirty feeling and looking old and very let go. I will never be coming back here. Crystal is RUDE doesn't listen to the customers. They' re always rushing and for the quality of their work and low quality basic supplies they are OVER priced! You don't provide a service the customer didn't ask for and expect them to pay. Yikes! What a complete nightmare. The only positive thing is they had time to give me a last minute pedicure. I don't recall saying I wanted a gel pedicure but it was given to me. $50 flat rate for a rushed, unsanitary pedicure. Feels like a money pit of disappointment. The lady next to me was ignored. I tried to voice what I wanted which was simple white toes. It was so messy and rushed. I was so disgusted I wanted to run for the door. Nothing is sanitized prior to use. The use a razor to remove dead skin. She almost shaved off my pinky toe with the electric nail file. Gesh, glad I don't live here. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Unless you want a potential infection. Oh and they hound you to pay as if they deserve compensation. Not sure if people typically run out on the bill but it was extremely distasteful. read more

If you go to this salon don't get the Lady in the hat who's always has her boobs out, she's always talking, rough on your feet and if you tell her she's hurting you she laughs and pretends she doesn't understand what you are saying. The nails are good, took two hours to do. First, let me say this... if you want below the bar service, to get yelled at and hit.. this is the place for you. The owner was rude & distasteful. I asked a worker if she was good at designs because I wanted a design on my nail & her response was "I don't know" I asked for another worker and the owner literally smacked my ankles while giving a terrible pedicure. Saying "you don't ask no questions like that!" Speaking of the pedicure, it was definitely not even worth $10. I sat in the chair for 25 mins while she roughly handles my feet. Talked about my feet stating "it's been a while" repeatedly.. granted my toe nails were longer than usual. Scrubbed the bottom of my feet with the silver thing barely and told me to look at it while saying "it's been too long" She slopped some sugar scrub on there and said $50. Doesn't offer regular polish. I wanted to change my toe nail color because my nail color didn't match with the fake nail. First they said I was gonna be charged $20 for them to remove the polish and repaint. Then told me to come back another time since they were busy. Then talking to other patrons, stating it was my fault because I chose the color.. whatever. If I'm paying $120 for a service I expect it to be what I want. They were all mad when I asked them to correct the shape of my nail after I asked twice for coffin shape they left my nail really blocky and when I said I would file them myself they got mad. I had paid a price I didn't anticipate they also filed my nail down to the actual the white part of the set I had asked for. If I could give less than one star I would. I just went in to have my acrylics removed after breaking one and the employee tried to talk me into getting them filled (I had to say no at least three or four times). Then, instead of soaking my nails he sits down and starts jamming his thumbnail between the acrylic and my natural nail and prying them off. He acted surprised every time I said "OUCH" which was many times because it was very painful. Then he began prying with a false nail and finally used a cuticle trimmer and took a chunk out of my thumbnail (part that covers the pink). Once that was done he insisted on filing which ended up uneven and painful and when I winced he said that I "have sensitive hands." So, rude, and doesn't do good work. Someone else was there to get a manicure fixed while I was there. Never go here. EVER!! read more

My best friend and I came here on a Sunday for a last minute pedicure. The experience wasn't too bad as they were able to start working with us. I can see why some may see the "boss lady" as rude. She does come off that way, but when I talked to her she was actually nice. Everyone in the shop seemed to be happy and the staff was engaging with us as the customers. I think the "rudeness" is just part of the culture with the people that work there and to others it may come off as rude., but then again it does make things weird. But I don't want to take away from one's experience if they did not have a good trip to this nail salon. It was clean and things seems to be sterilized. We had good service here but I will give it 3 stars because it did take me talking to "boss lady" for her easy going personality to come out and they could discuss prices before working on you. My bff paid more than me cause she needed more work done than I did(we both both got the same thing, regular pedi with regular polish) I guess since the lady had to work on hers longer it came out more. I have been going to this salon for YEARS. The owner has a schtick she does with customers where she says rude...but slightly amusing things. She's been doing it for years, and I can see how it could put off new customers that aren't used to her. However, today, I'm afraid was the final straw. The nail technician I had today is someone I have watched over the years and have tried to avoid. She almost relishes hurting clients, has a surly attitude (whether she is pregnant, not pregnant, early in the day, late in the day, you name it.....), and doesn't care about her work. The older man who I normally see, was off today. The owner began my service, only to allow this technician to finish. She seemed angry from the very start. She never asked me anything about what I wanted, was rushing through and burned me three times with the drill, left acrylic residue all over my fingers, left my nails too thick and too wide. When the owner asked if I liked them, I said no....explained why and that I had been there so long, I don't need the technician to redo them now. The technician began speaking in her native language, only to say I never told her what I wanted, I had to calm my daughter down, and explain - I don't argue about things like this. I vote with my money, and will travel farther to go where quality service and customer care are a priority. read more

The service at this establishment is terrible. The owner Crystal is rude as hell and loud. I went to get a pedicure and I had to force her to wash the foot tub before soaking my feet. It was obvious it was filthy and she had a serious attitude. She spent more time on the phone then on my feet. She did a horrible job! The man in the front is quiet but doesn't do great work either. He did a gel full set and after two days the polish is coming off. I went across the street to the other nail shop and gladly paid to have my services redone. The owner is rude. They put cold water in my foot bath. I asked for hot water and she screamed for me to wait. So I did, at least ten minutes. She comes back over and drains that water,adds hot but no foot soak. I asked for some and she said I was difficult and didn't add anything. Whew. So, she starts to hurriedly scrub my feet and she was being rough. I didn't get cuticles pushed back, polish on my skin, heels still looking like they did when I came in. I told her that I'm not satisfied and she starts hollering about I need to go home and put Vaseline on! I told her I'm not satisfied and I won't be back. She didn't put any top coat on either. I hadn't been in over a year because their service has declined over the years. It's sad when you pay for a service and get harassed because they just want the money. Horrible service. Do not recommend to friends with short tempers! I visited here for the first time 2 weeks ago where guy named "Lee" did my nails for a Vegas trip. Without asking me as I'm scrolling on my phone he makes them very short. At this point the set is already cut and he is rushing to get someone else in the chair. I sucked it up and was fine once he fixed the shape then explained to me that "my hands and shape are built for a certain nail shape". I left and planned to come back and get a fill in once they've grown out because I paid $50 for the service. Two weeks later I come back and see a very pretty pinkish nude color (#29) and I ask for that. As he is doing my nails, once again I notice they are being filed too short without asking, so I stop him and say that of course I wanted them to get longer with the fill in. He over talks me yet again "explaining" things that do not matter outside of my specific request on the service I was paying for. He shows me my right hand, and they are perfect. I leave with no issues then on my way down Pendleton like I look down at my steering wheel and notice a stripe of BRIGHT ORANGE POLISH from my LAST SET on the side of EVERY NAIL. I instantly make a U turn and go back in because I had to work after that. When I go in he sighs loudly and quickly grabs my hand and shaves one finger without even looking at it. At this point I am trying to contain myself and not go into actions that will end up making ME look in the wrong, so I left. I called up there asking for a manager about 20 mins later, telling the lady what happened on the phone, and she asked me to come back in at 7. After work I came back in early (around 6:23) and he instantly stood up from his current customer asking what's wrong and walked over to me. He grabs my hands and literally says "oh it's just a little orange nobody will notice it". At this point I am completely fed up. You have messed up my service I paid for THEN blatantly dismissed my concern about my NEW FRESH NUDE SET WITH NEON ORANGE RESIDUE ON EVERY NAIL FROM THE SET YOU DID BEFORE. After denying it for 5 mins, he finally filed the orange off my new set. Not to mention my middle finger on my left hand was shorter than EVERY OTHER NAIL. So now the lady I spoke with on the phone earlier intervenes asking what's wrong after watching this happen in front of customer for about 10 mins. I show her my hands telling her the orange is gone, but ONE nail is drastically shorter than every other nail on my 10 hands (disgraceful). Instead of fixing the problem, she continues to try to go back and forth with me for 5 more minutes, and even at one point changes her stance, not even noticing she's admitting it is shorter. Her repetitive response is "this nail didn't grow like every other one, and he didn't file it that much" says the woman who I watched do feet when I came in earlier. NO WAY for you to know if he filed it too much, the ONLY fact and form of evidence you have is THE FINGERS RIGHT HERE IN YOUR FACE. After a while I get exhausted with such a stupid back and forth, and realize I am not asking for a refund, nothing free, SIMPLY FOR YOU TO FIX MY NAILS. These people outright tried to argue their way out of adjusting a service they did not complete correctly. It was disgraceful and I HAD to share my experience for any person who may see them and go because they're usually pretty clear of traffic. I usually go to nail plus in that same plaza but they were cheaper. I guess you get what you pay for right. Smh. I so badly wish I could post the video I made on here so you guys could see this.
