OMG! HV Nails completely surpassed my expectations and impressed me with both the customer service and the quality of work. I am usually skeptical of trying new nail places, but after seeing the high ratings HV has, I knew it was worth a try! I scheduled my appointment for 4/24, but when I was about to leave, my phone alerted me that there was a tornado warning in my area and it was unsafe to drive. Luckily, I was able to call HV and easily reschedule my appointment to 5/25 with no problems! Upon my arrival, I was immediately greeted with a cold water and directed to my massage chair. I waited for about 10 minutes before a nail tech came over and started my treatment, which was no problem for me at all, but both the technician and the manager on duty were so apologetic and even added on extra time to my leg massage to make up for it! The way everyone goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction is what makes the prices at HV worth it. I was super impressed with my gel pedicure and my acrylic manicure, and I especially appreciated that the nail techs asked me several times throughout the process to make sure I liked everything. The design I got turned out even better than the inspo pic from Pinterest, and they have lasted over 2 weeks with no chipping or breaking! I'm honestly surprised this nail salon has such high reviews. The space was not clean as described--my nail tech swept nail dust directly onto the floor, which didn't feel sanitary at all. I asked for a simple ombré design, nothing complicated, and it still wasn't done correctly. I ended up spending two hours there and paid $70 for nails I didn't even like. Overall, the experience was disappointing and felt unprofessional. I even had to explain how my usual nail tech in Arizona does ombré. I went back to this salon again because I specifically wanted Anna to do my nails. Before starting, I asked her directly if she had enough time to work on my nails and the design I wanted, and she said yes. I showed the design in advance, and they confirmed it was possible. However, after other customers arrived, I was moved to another technician. He was very polite and did his best, but he was not comfortable doing the original design, so I had to change it to something simpler. I also ended up spending a long time at the salon because of the switch. What disappointed me most was that I made it very clear from the beginning that I wanted to work with Anna. If she didn't actually have enough time, I would have preferred to come back another day instead of changing plans in the middle of the appointment. I booked a Pearl Pedicure, which is supposed to be 90 min with Tom. Someone else took me-it happens at nail salons when they're busy, I get it. Except there was no one else there but me and the rest of the staff. I told the nail tech that I had an appointment for the Pearl pedicure and that it was scheduled online (she looked surprised when I said I had an appointment) and she took me back. All in all, it was the fastest pedicure I've ever had. I was in and out in 30 minutes-and I had gel polish. Then I go to pay and use my first time guest $10 off coupon. They charged me $68! The tech then asked me for her tip. I pointed out that she didn't do the service I requested, and both her and the other tech that were checking me out looked at each other and back at me and said the price was what it was because of gel. I wasn't trying to get out of paying-they make you put a $20 deposit down just to book, so they have my card information. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't being overcharged for a service I didn't get. Seeing I was upset, they handed me a $5 discount on my next service of $50 or more paid in cash. So, they did nothing. Not even acknowledge that they made a mistake. I didn't realize it was wrong service until she jumped up to get me out of the chair to pay, though I stated what I was there for to her face when I walked in and she agreed. I was really looking forward to trying a new place and spoil myself with a much needed treat for my feet. I don't get to do this very often, so it's always a big deal for me when I get an opportunity for a pedi-also why I always schedule the most lavish service. I walked out feeling like I was taken advantage of with a mediocre pedicure at best. They didn't seem interested in correcting the mistake-just where is my tip and getting me out of there. (Yes, she asked me about her tip). I am literally in my car close to tears right now feeling like this was a complete waste of my time and money, and that the staff wasn't very customer focused. As a side comment, the daughter of one of the staff was getting her nails done, so my tech and the tech doing her daughter's toes decided to talk super loud to each other, with the other tech interrupting my service repeatedly. I point this out because I am hearing impaired, which I always mention when I get services done because the salon environment is usually bustling with activity and I don't want the tech to think I'm ignoring them. No so here. I should also mention as I type this that my tech just walked out with her kids to go home. Maybe that's why she rushed me out? I wasn't a walk-in, I made the appointment with Tom for the Pearl Pedicure. In any case, I can't recommend this spot. Especially since they seemed more interested in each other than providing service. If this is how they treat new customers, I better understand the deposit-I guess that's one way to guarantee income, because from my experience today it certainly isn't from delighting their new customers. read more

A lovely pedicure by the folks at HV Nail Studio! I walked in on a Monday without any appointment and they were still able to squeeze me in for a pedicure. They have several different pedicure options, but I chose the Luxury (CBD) Pedicure which includes an anti-inflammatory lotion, scrub, and soak. I opted not to get any polish because it's the winter time, and I really just wanted a maintenance and massage type of service. They truly delivered! It was so relaxing, and my feet/toes look and feel great! But if you would like polish, they have an enormous selection of polishes. There's definitely something for everyone! The owner is so sweet! I have been very disappointed lately with the selection of nail salons in my area. I have been to two in the last two months and have been amazed at the lack of customer service, cleanliness and attention the detail. After searching through Yelp for the last week and reading the reviews to decided to go to Nail Perfect in Fishers. The reviews are what really made me call to make an appointment. I called on Friday afternoon and made an appointment for Saturday morning. I wanted a full set of acrylics with gel polish. When I arrived I was asked to check in and choose my polish. Afterwards I was seated and began my service. Vicki pleasantly sat down and made me feel right at home. She was attentive, warm and authentically sweet. I had just removed my previous set of nails so my real nails were weak and pretty beat up. Vicki gave great attention to my fragile nails and cuticles. She is very efficient but does not skimp on making your nails look beautiful. I told her that I am so happy to have finally found someone who cared. I'm definitely making this my go-to nail salon. The salon is clean, there is relaxing music playing and the atmosphere was calm. I appreciated it after a long week. If you pay in cash, you will be given a punch card and after you complete the card you get $20 off your service. Called ahead and asked if they did Gel X and they said yes. I booked an appointment time. I got there at my appointment time and then waited 20 minutes before the service started. She then had me soak in a bowl vs the foils, I'm not sure which one is better than the other but my last place always did foils. She seemed to have to drill a lot and it created hot spots. It then felt like she was forcing the gel press ons on to my nails. This at the end made them look very curved when I have flat nail beds. One nail she had glued on and then had to remove where she ripped part of the nail off. During the hot spots and taking the nail top off she was very nice and apologetic. I also have noticed the last two places I have gone said they could do gel X but it was clear they had little experience doing them. I just moved to the area and have been trying to find a new nail place. I usually get short almond and asked if that's what she was putting ok and she said yes. Then even after cutting them down they are way longer than usual when I get the short almonds. I also tried to explain how I like a color that is a close match to my nail color where polish wasn't going to be and even said the brand and color I usually use but that was dismissed, an underwhelming experience. Since the nails were already on and I had been there much longer than I wanted I wasn't sure how to rectify things at that point and left. I am in love with this place. Every person I interacted with was stellar. Customer service is so important these days. It's nice to be treated like a person. Not just another appointment. Let me start off by saying I am so so so IMPRESSED with how AMAZING Nail Perfect was! Yingh (my apologies if I mis-spelled your name) was so amazing I am definitely going to see her from now on! Heres the break down: NailPerfect is located on 10606 E.96th St, Fishers IN. Its tucked away in a neighborhood Strip. Owned by sisters Vicky and Yingh. I am extremely picky on how I want the shape of my nails to look and the colors. I get ultra nervous when I have a design I want to do and it comes out completely opposite. NAILPERFECT is literally PERFECT!!! I could not be happier with the design I had requested and the outcome. I have been to NailPerfect 2 times now and I can say they are CONSISTENT. Both times I have seen Yingh. Yingh is so patient and soft spoken, she is extremely skillful in her craft and takes her time to give you exactly what you want. The facility is clean and the other employees are very professional. They have a wide variety of polish so I'm sure you will definitely find a color that you are going to like on the color wall. Yingh made the shape of my nails look exactly how I wanted them, and definitely listened to what I wanted. With the design I requested it ran me about $70 without tip (keep in mind the design I asked for was pretty elaborate so the price is fitting to what I had requested). Usually designs at the place I used to go to would cost me waaaaaaaaay more so i was happy to spend that amount. Very reasonable for what I had asked. I came in because I needed an acrylic set removed and wanted regular polish on just to protect my nail after wearing them. I had to reiterate this at least 3 times as nobody understood. Once i finally got them to understand, I noticed the underside of my natural nail wasn't cleaned so I had to do that on my own at home. Overall it was an average experience. To reply to the owner, he did understand. After I stopped him from starting to put acrylic powder on my nails. I understand you strive for 5 star service and I'd love to see it, but I'm not lying about what happened. read more

This is my second time going to Nail Perfect. I've had Ying both times. She has done a great job both times. I get gel on my toes and dip on my nails. It has been staying on really well. Some of the other places I have visited in the past- I have had issues with my dip cracking or chipping. That really gives u anger issues as expensive as it is to get ur nails done. So far- I have had really good luck with my nails staying intact. I have received many compliments. Not only is Ying professional and good at what she does- but she is funny to talk to. She gives a good massage during a pedicure too. Another plus about this establishment is that u can schedule online. I changed from my usual location to Viki's salon at Nail Perfect because I was done paying for bad service. Nails can cost 1,000+ annually! I've had a full set of pink and white ombre put on and a fill. So far so good! Plus their 'small talk' is so genuine that it's sweet sometimes. They are actually curious about their clients. Me and my husband make it a Valentine's Day ritual of pampering ourselves with pedicures for Valentine's Day. We chose HV Nail Studio to our detriment. When we arrived the day after Valentine's Day they had just one customer and were all just sitting around like bumps on a log until we arrived so we thought they would have been a bit more gracious for our patronize but they were not. I will say the woman who did my husband's pedicure was very thorough and did everything expected for a typical pedicure. Not the woman I got (older, short hair) She literally massaged my legs the entire time then when I asked her if she was going to clip my cuticles or file my toenails she argued me up and down about already having done that when she did not. They also charge $5 extra to use the buffer to take off any extra skin after paying almost $60 for a gel pedicure. Their attitudes were horrible when asking about pricing. I can be treated like sh*t for free. I gurantee you I will never return and I reassured them of this. There are way too many nail shops in the area to choose from. I needed my nails done and would have also liked to indulge in a paraffin wax like me and my husband usually do for Valentine's Day but after the treatment we received from these workers - we decided to take our dollars elsewhere. This place is a must!! I made an appointment for a group getting pedicures. The booking process was easy and came with descriptions for each service, which J greatly appreciated. They were so accommodating for us! We were immediately met with a greeting by multiple people when we walked in. They have an extensive collection of gel, regular, and dip polish so everyone got something unique. Everything was clean and very professional. Made appointments online for a luxury pedicure for me and my 72 year old mom after reading good reviews on yelp. My mom and I need/Was looking for a new place to start going to again. I had gotten a nail fungus what a nightmare that was. It Took forever and some powerful drugs to get rid of it.. I have been leary to ever go to another nail salon. My mom has bad arthritis so it's hard for her to lift her feet up and down and Viki made her feel very comfortable. There were 2 handicapped parking spaces just 2 doors down fron the salon. The salon was clean and well kept up and the bathroom was very clean which speaks to the owners attention to detail.
