We arrived and were seated right away. She got to pick out her colors and told the lady about the unicorn she wanted. I love coming here but this is the 2nd time I've had Tony, and he has not done my nails properly.. I asked to see 2 cat eye colors and he told me no... I'm not sure if he thought I wanted both colors, but I just wanted to look at them. After getting that misunderstanding handled, he proceeded to attempt the cat eye and did NOT know how to truly do it. Please just be honest with your costumers. Rudeness at a level 15 out of 10. My wife attempted to get her toes painted and when she attempted to provide feedback because he was being too rough, she was told he didn't speak English. After providing the feedback to the lady the male technician got upset and pushed my wife's foot into the bowl. From there she was told to leave and that she was rude because she voiced her concerns about her treatment. Never going back to this place. read more

So I had gotten my nails done on Saturday, went in for a full set. Monday morning, a nail brakes off from carrying groceries mind you I'd call and ask if I can come in to get it fixed. Kim attempts to take the rest of my nail off my nail bed by yanking it off with some nail clippers which extremely hurt I let her know that she said it's fine. She has another client in her chair so she's going back-and-forth doing my one nail and the other lady nails. I felt rush the one nail she attempted to fix was lumpy not straight nor the same length as the other hand and I let her know that. She then says it's because my finger is not straight. Oh how I wanted to love this place. My friend and I decided to get our nails done Saturday around 11. We head to V Nails and the advise that there will be a wait. We wait for 30 minutes and I suggest we head to another salon but my friend insisted that we stay. We even speak to one of the techs and they say we have enough time to walk to the CVS 2 minutes away. We walk there and walk back and they still can't take us back. At this point we have been waiting for an hour and a half and we get seated. I advise the tech that I need my acrylics taken off and that I just want a gel mani. Every nail she takes off takes a year off my life...my nails were so weak and worn that she said she needed to put 3 coats of paint to build them back up. I allow her to do this because she is the professional but at the end my nails are glob like and uneven. All that being said they were the nicest group of nail techs I have ever met. They conversed with my friend and I and they had 2 little girls that spoke with us while we were waiting. They even helped pick out our colors. The nail services were not worth it and being there from 11:10-2:40 was pure torture. Very kind people though. read more

I heard about this salon through a friend who highly recommends Kim. I was excited to try it out since I always admire my friend's dip manicures. When I got there, I was only offered one book of options for the dip. This book didn't have too much variety in colors. The brand was EDSC. However, there were many different brands of dip all over the walls with many unique colors. I asked if this was my only options and she said yes. So I was not excited for the color I picked. The entire manicure took 30 minutes. There are pros and cons to this. She wasn't very careful. I didn't have my cuticles clipped or lotion put on my hands afterward. The salon did not feel clean or even look clean. I was not talked to by my manicurist. She stayed on the phone the entire time she was giving me service. The price for this experience was $50.... I've gone to many salons in Avon and this one was more expensive but the service and atmosphere was not worth $50. read more

The absolute best nail salon in the Avon area. First off, Kim genuinely cares about your experience and tries to make it the best possible. All the staff is always so nice and accommodating. Your nails are always handled with care and acrylics will last at least a couple weeks (at least in my experience!) Walking in is easy here and they do their best to get you in asap. I cannot say enough about this amazing business. My 91-year-old mother was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer, and her feet were an absolute mess. They treated her like a Queen, did an absolutely fantastic job on her feet, and then refused to let her pay. She felt like she had made good friends while she was there, and she was so very happy. Well to say the least they're understaffed severely. I would rather be turned away then have them say they can take us and we spend 45min just sitting and the pedicure station... they definitely forgot I was here. I just wanted a gel manicure and my mom and cousin they were getting mani pati and we spent quite some time there. My gel started to have bubbles in it the day after, lady working on my mom forgot to put top coat on her nails and applied it in the lobby, and all around under staffed and very slow. read more

I went in for my birthday and was expecting the magnificence that I normally leave with and low and behold my nails looked great but no less than three days later my first nail broke all the way down to my nail. And soon more followed. My acrylics are so thin that if I wanted to I could snap them off with just a thumb and index finger. This is rediculous I paid 45$ for my nails. read more

If you only get gel color, this is your spot. I am not a fan of paying extra for nail polish so I stick with good ole fashion nail polish; only, this place has almost no color selection. 90%gel and 10% other. I got a full set and it took a little over two hours to get done. The gentlemen who did my nails had to keep getting up for items and at one point he got up to take a smoke break. He was very rough and hurt me several times. I was disappointed at the end because he did not check the nail lengths and my nails to not match. Some are really short and none are a little longer. Nothing really noticeable to anyone but me but it's still annoying. I also wish I would had read the other reviews before coming here because there were tools used that were taken out of a drawer and then put right back in without being cleaned after being used on me. The one positive thing during this whole visit was the people who work there were friendly so it was hard to be upset but I don't think I'll be returning. read more

My friend and I attempted to go here yesterday 11/28 to get our nails done. We looked online and it said they were open until 8:00pm. When we got there at 6:15pm the place was completely closed. The sign on their door even said 8pm. I don't know why they closed early but they lost business. I will never try to go back because we went to an amazing other place to get them done yesterday.
