I brought my car in for issues with idling, limp and hesitation on acceleration.. After doing my own research, prior to bringing it to the dealership, I concluded the issue had to be either related to old spark plugs or a bad Air/Fuel sensor, which I explained. On the first day, they wanted to do a compression test, which costs $645. I explained that at wide open throttle, the vehicle didn't seem to be missing any power at all, and I was certain compression was not the issue. They replied that they had checked my spark plugs and ignition coils, but they couldn't check for fuel until removing the intake... I feel like they simply chose to jump straight to the most expensive form of troubleshooting at this point. They had my car at the dealership for 3 days total and the issue ended up being a bad upstream O2 sensor, like I had guessed in the beginning! In the end, it cost me $1900 just for replace my spark plugs and one AFR/O2 sensor.. then a week later my clutch pedal has issues.... read more

Well we tried to tell our daughter to stay away from any 5 star. She has discovered she should have steered clear! Should have RAN far away after the first hour there.... IT SHOULD NOT take 7+ hrs to purchase a car. Then blasting pics of trade in all over the internet with our tags visible, trying to sell as tho it wasn't involved in an accident (there is damage to trade in on front bumper from an accident involving a deer). Lying to get us back into dealership saying we needed to sign something... get there wait 45ish min only to find out she was in the wrong car. Vin on registration DID NOT MATCH CAR SHE HAD BEEN DRIVING... yep drove that car for 10 days without knowing none of our paperwork matched!!! Now here we are 10 days, 10 days from temp tags expiring and guess what they haven't' sent any paperwork for her to get her tags. we did a tag transfer from trade in to new car so it should NOT have taken the 5 weeks it has taken. The only thing they've wanted to compensate her with is a free oil change and a car detail and a free tank of gas. STEER CLEAR!!! read more

This morning the heavy set guy to the far left when you're looking at the customer service desk is very rude. I have a Chevrolet Malibu and I have been taking my car there since 2017 because it was right up the street, for an oil change. All I asked was how long was it going to take since there was about 10 cars that pulled up for 8 o'clock appointment. He said well you have, a Chevy Malibu and all the other cars are Nissan cars so it takes lot longer because then we have to find out how much oil you need, order the oil, and then etc., etc. He just made it seem like it was a problem for me to bring my vehicle there. Pretty much seemed annoyed so I told him I didn't know if that was gonna be a problem. then I could just take it somewhere else. It was no big deal. As I was driving away him and the other three guys sitting there were chuckling under their breaths, just very rude. and all this said basically I just didn't like his demeanor and how he addressed it. He should've just came out and said why are you bringing your car here anyway that's what impression I got. when I told him I'll just go somewhere else he says OK. BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They did the 'bait and switch' on me. The website had a $13,500 base price for the car I wanted and they emailed me a quote with the same base price of $13,500. I went in the next morning to buy it and they told me the base price was now $15,000! They raised the price of the car because they knew I was coming to buy it! Totally fraudulent pricing practices. Don't trust them. They also try to add on $595 for PermaPlate ABOVE the quoted price. What is PermaPlate?! I have no idea what that is, but I didn't request it. See the photo attached. While in the finance office, the finance person could not make the numbers on the contract match what was quoted to me. He was going to get with a manager and email me the documents to E sign. It has been 3 days and I still have not heard anything from the dealership although they have cashed my deposit check. I asked for a bed cover and had to continue to call and get a price for the bed cover. This is an item they make money on but I had to continue to follow up. Had to deal with a warranty recall issue on my 2014 Nissan Altima, on the distorted front lens head lights, spent time mailing out the Warranty card months ago , so I called this dealership , and the lady at the service desk , to make an appointment for an inspection , and in her an unfriendly voice said she looked up the Vin number and there was no recall on my vehicle , but before that I had gone to the service department and they told me after showing them my recall form that was sent to me that they would have to do an inspection on the headlights to determine if they needed, to be changed, then they would order the new headlights, I will never do business with this company ever again read more

Service was mediocre and lasted 1 hour longer than ETA told by service representative. It appeared that on the phone service representative told me anything to get me to bring my car. Service manager presented me with options for services needed soon and offered discounts which I agreed to based on discount he was providing. Once service was completed I was charged full price and the manager was gone and no one was able to get in touch with him. Customer service representative told me I had to contact the manager on Monday. I was even texted that the manager would give me a call which never occurred. I've paid cheaper price for same service in other cities with better vehicle service and customer service. I would not recommend this dealership. Scheduled an oil change using their website. When I arrived at my scheduled time, I was informed it would be a 3 hour wait before my car was even seen. When I told them I had a scheduled appointment, I was first told that they don't schedule services on Saturdays. However, the website does not state that and allows for Saturday scheduling. Then, I was told that their scheduling was like a doctor's office. You may have an appointment and still have to wait. I agreed that "walk in clinics" are first come first serve, but I have never waited 3 hours to be seen by my doctor for a scheduled physical! It was ridiculous to even make the comparison. I dropped of my car on Saturday for new tires, as I was waiting for my car to be serviced I got a text asking if I would be interested in having a quote of a trade in value on my car. I agreed to let them inspect my car. I was told to ask for Gregory Harrell (sales) when I picked my car up for the quote. Gregory gave me the price and told me that because I was in desperate need of an oil change the price was lowered. I was shocked and confused as to I had an oil change a month ago. He argued with me stating that my oil was on the verge of being "jellyfied"and my engine locking up. He popped my hood and tried to convince me that the service that I paid for was not done and that I needed to contact the other Nissan dealership immediately because they did not do as they were supposed to. I was afraid of my engine locking up as I had to drive 1.5 hours back to the dealership to have them inspect my car and pull video of the service being done. On my receipt from five star says services recommended but not preformed was a belt and transmission flush. NOTHING about my oil!! My oil was completely fine!!! He lied!!! Completely lied!!! Why would a sales person lie about the service department? Was it because he didn't want to give me the full value for the trade in so he could make more money?!?! Poor workmanship backed by terrible customer service. Took my preowned 2018 Nissan Altima in for AC service due to a moldy smell when the AC is initially turned on. I must say I keep the inside of my car very clean so I know the issue must be internal. The smell had been there for several months but was getting increasingly noticeable. I was told that to have the car checked it would be $190 (steep I know - first red flag) and if service was done that fee would be waived. I proceeded because there was no wait. While my car was being serviced, I was approached by the sales department to buy a new vehicle. I was offered a free gift just to listen to their proposal. I listened then declined, never got my free gift (second red flag - they don't follow through). The service rep Shaquille Johnson told me that I needed an AC tune-up for $199, a new cabin air filter for $55, and to have my brake fluid flushed $235. I declined any brake work as I just had my brakes serviced 5 days earlier at another repair shop and I never mentioned having any issues with my brakes (red flag #3). Also, I myself had replaced the cabin air filter two months prior in an attempt to eliminate the smell. Knowing that I would be charged the $190 if I didn't get anything done, I went ahead with the AC tune-up. About an hour and 15mins later the work was completed, I paid $233.60 and I drove off to do errands. I immediately noticed a strong disinfectant smell very similar to Odoban. I decided to turn off the AC and just run the fan to see if the mold smell persisted. To my dismay, even through my face mask I could smell the mold smell. I turned the AC back on and yes it still lingered, it was just being covered up by the disinfectant smell. I returned to the dealership and informed the service rep that I could still clearly smell the moldy/mildew smell. The service rep Shaquille replied dismissively that he told me that I needed to replace the cabin air filter. I insisted to speak to someone else. At this point, John Bips the service manager comes over to the car to take a whiff after witnessing the conversation I had with the previous service rep Shaquille. With the driver's door open and the window down, Mr. Bips states he can't smell anything and that there was nothing he could do. I explained that I was not satisfied with the work that was performed and that I wanted a resolution. He leaves then returns with a sales rep after a few moments. Mr. Bips (who has not had a mask on at all the entire time I've been in the dealership) calls over the sales rep for a whiff. The sales rep does not reply that he cannot smell a moldy smell but instead turns the AC on full blast and asks if I could smell the mold smell then. I insisted that the stronger disinfectant smell would fade within the next few days and I will still be left with the mold smell. Mr. Bips kept nonchalantly stating that there was nothing that could be done because he couldn't smell anything so there was nothing to fix. At this point why pay an additional $55 for a cabin air filter if the service manager is saying there is no smell and there is nothing else they can do. I requested the contact information for the service manager Mr. Bips' supervisor. Mr. Bips began to give me the runaround and say that he could only give me the number for corporate. I calmly requested his business card. Next, I asked him who he reported to, and for that person's email. He stated that his supervisor was someone named Tommy Christian but that he did not have his phone number or email. I asked one last time if there was someone that I could talk to that would be able to resolve this issue. Mr. Bips then stated that the owner was "too busy" and that he goes out of town a lot. After my third request for contact information was shirked, I proceeded to walk to the sales floor. The sales manager Amanda met with me and I explained what was going on. Amanda went and talked to Mr. Bips then he came out to the sales floor. He began to say that all he wanted to do was resolve the issue in house and that I should wait a day or two to see if the smell comes back so that they could smell it and fix the issue. I stated that I was willing to do that but I would not leave without Mr. Bips' supervisor's contact email/phone number. Visibly upset, Mr. Bips stated "do you just want a refund?". I said that would be fine. After I accepted the refund, Mr. Bips continued to mutter under his breath that I was making a big deal out of nothing. He stated, "There is no smell and you know it" then proceeds to process the refund. I'm not sure if Mr. Bips has lost his sense of smell to Covid but he sure has lost his sense of duty to the customer. I would have brushed it off as a lesson learned if the cost of the repair was less than $100. But the outright disregard for human decency and kindness forces me to sound the alarm. My experience with this dealership started out great! The salesman was nice, it was his first sale and he had help from another associate. I had one specific request and that was that I would be able to tow a small trailer. I was assured that I would be able to have a hitch receiver installed. I loved the car! A week later, I went through the dealership to order a hitch receiver. It arrived the next day but unfortunately, it did not fit. They reordered it and again it did not fit. They finally came to the conclusion that a hitch receiver had not been made for my 2023 Nissan Rogue. I was simply told, "I'm sorry ma'am". Then, part of the door trim came off when I shut the door. Two of the clips had broken so I removed the trim piece and took it to the dealership. I had had the car about a month. Again, I was told "I'm sorry ma'am" accompanied by, this isn't included in the warranty. They tried to tell me it was due to an accident however, there was no accident and there was no damage to the car or the trim. I feel like they promised me everything to get me to sign on the dotted line however, when it really came down to it the typical response was "I'm sorry ma'am". We negotiated on the price a bit but still couldn't get to my price range. A manager named Don came in and was fairly aggressive on negotiating. We decided to leave and he asked what he could do to sell the car today. I said excuse the price and he said he couldn't. The manager then proceeded to yell at us and ask why we were even there. I took my 2017 Nissan Maxima to this dealer to get a recall on my brake system accomplished. I should have known there would be issues when I was told to leave it over night with the key in the drop box. I call the next day and they said they didn't have my car. I asked them to check the drop box and the key was still there. They didn't get to it until the next day. I got it back and a few week later I started to hear noises in the rear. Then later in the front. Both around the tire areas. I took it back to Nissan and they would check it for $190. At first I said no but I decided to go ahead and get it checked. The technician/guy took my keys and drove it in kinda roughly over a bump. He came inside to process and said it would take 1.5 to 2 hours. I said that's okay. I thought they would look at it then. However, none of that was explained. When I told the guy I didn't want to do it at that moment. He told me the keys were in it. I had to back my car out of their processing area. These folks are very rude. They do not have any customer service skills at all. I will never take my car there. I will drive it to the next city before I let them look at my vehicle again. It is like that every time I go there. This is not the first time they have shown terrible service. I don't trust them. And I believe they did not put my car back together properly; however that is my opinion. I will take it to another shop and they will be able to tell me. My car only has 25k miles on it. For a 2017 it should not have these issues and it was fine before I took it there. read more

literally spent all day Saturday with My 1 year old son and my husband at the Five Star Nissan of warner Robbins dealership and left without a new car despite walking in with a check to purchase the same day. I Totally don't appreciate the sales people dismissing the true car I showed them on my phone when I showed it to him at the beginning of our conversation for the car we wanted. Turns out that they only magically accept the true car certificate when we went through the USAA a few hours later. They are not upfront with pricing at all and tried to sell me a used car from 2014 for about 2k less than a brand new one despite me saying I wanted new multiple times. The sales people played a ton of funny math games with the price and insisted on talking about the price in terms of monthly payments despite me telling them I wanted to discuss it in the full price of the car multiple times. I also Certainly don't appreciate you not telling us what you were offering for the trade in despite asking a couple of times. The change in interest rate and rebate was also a surprising touch when we went to close after waiting over an hour to do the closing paperwork despite already having our own financing and even telling the rep what our credit score was. The rep then said the number we agreed on was then contingent on us financing through them which is not what we wanted to do. Oh and the cherry on top to our magical 10 hour experience with this dealership was magically trying to offer a gap insurance coupon to try to keep us with their financing rather than using the check we came with. Their gap coverage is nearly $500 more than the bank we were going to go with from the beginning. The funny math including trying to double charge us for the dealer paperwork fee (about $700 twice) continued until we walked out of the dealership without purchasing a car from them. Oh and the salespeople begged us to give them a good survey saying they would have to pay the dealership rather than getting a bonus if we gave them a bad survey. lol I answer surveys honestly and I much prefer others did too so I know what to expect when I go somewhere. read more

I purchased a car from this dealership while I was TDY to Robins AFB. In early September 2014, I purchased a 2012 Maxima which I loved and I felt it was a good deal. At the end of September, my assignment was over and I was driving home to Pa. I took my Maxima to the dealership for an oil change and wash for the drive. While I was waiting Brian Washington (salesman) approached me and asked if I was interested in upgrading to a 2014 Maxima at no extra cost?? I wasn't initially interested but he insisted I take a look at my options. At this time, Don Johnson (manager maybe)?? Got involved and applied pressure to upgrade. 5 hrs later I left the lot with a 2014 Maxima, an increased car payment by $100 per month and a loan for $14,000 more than the original. I, in my ignorance didn't read the documents because I was assured that everything was the same as the 2012 except for the VIN!!! I blame myself for falling for the BS and believe me, I tried leaving several times. The owner of the dealership even came out and gave me a voucher to have a spoiler placed on the vehicle because he knew I was unhappy. Long story short - worse service, never again, used car salespeople specifically Don Johnson and Brisn Washington.
