I paid $90 for a pedicure & my feet look bad now. When I sat down she laughed at my feet & pointed at them. She was upset I didn't get a more expensive package so she barely touched my feet with any tools. Issue handled very inappropriately which also caused the tech who was doing toes to loose concentration and left toes looking like this. First of all, THEY are NOT a FIVE star nails and Spa. I went there for Mother's Day 5-8-22 with my mother because my husband bought us a gift certificate each of $75. We chose a pedicure with hot stones and hot towels. He asked me to pick a color but didn't say it was $35 additional. I really didn't care because he gave me a good service and my pedi lasted 5 weeks. Saturday June 11th 22, I went by myself and this time I asked them for a French white tips manicure. I also got a pedicure. I paid $110 for pedi and $65 for mani. For a total of $175. I left $20 tip cash. They charged my card an additional $17.50 (10%) tip without my authorization. My nails started to peel off the Saturday after only 1 week. She said it was going to last 3 weeks. I called and told them and they said to come back. I went back today and they were very rude. Looking at these pictures you can't even say they were done professionally. They told me they fired the employee that did my nails because they had people complaining. I asked them for a reimbursement of $65.00 or a gift certificate to redo my nails with them but they refused. She told me the owner was going to call me. I am still waiting to hear from her. They literally stole my money and would not take responsibility for their ex-employee's unprofessional work. I read their reviews before writing mine and one thing I can agree is they rush people like crazy. Their receptionist was so rude. I strongly suggest people don't go there. Don't give your hard worked for money to them. There are other salons in the area (one just across the street that are more affordable and are more professional) Do NOT go to this business. I really had a good experience here! I got my pedi and mani done by a new employee named Rose who is super sweet! She just moved from California! The set up is nice and I thought their prices were normal from what I'm use too. I just moved from Georgia and I think they have drinks for customers? They had a fridge up front but didn't offer me anything since I had my water bottle but I'm guessing it is for customers. It was busy when I went in which means a lot of clients so they have to be good! They were able to take me right away so no waiting for me! There were only 2 customers when I walked in, so I was immediately put in a chair. I got talked into the upgraded pedi for the extra massage time, which I didn't actually get...unless the regular pedi has no massage. She did a nice job on the bottoms of my feet though. But when it came to the polish, there was no basecoat and no topcoat. Really? $45 for a pedi that will probably last one day. Update: the pedi lasted 6 days. Then began chipping. I would not recommend this place for the polish or the massage, but it was a good treatment on the bottom of my feet. read more

I have recently moved to Shreveport from California and I am still trying to find a decent mani/pedi place where I can return on a regular basis. My husband bought me a gift card from this place and we both went to take care of our nails on Fri evening. a guy showed up to start me off with pedicure. I looked up on the menu he gave me and I was just questioning him about prices and was wondering why mani/pedi services are way more EXPENSIVE than Cali! He got so offended as it was his own business and told me if I am not happy I can go to Bossier city and get my nail done cheaper. I was just trying to understand the differences and reasons that nail services are more expensive in LA compare to Cali. That's all! After he finished my pedi he refused to do my manicure and said he doesnt know how to do acrylic extension and he will get me a professional to do it. I waited awhile but no one showed up and eventually he came back and started my nail while grumbling about California people who are rude and pay little and want 5 star services! Dude, I am not even from Cali I just lived there for 2 years! I am only curious about pricing and asked you one simple question. I never mentioned I am not going to pay you!!!!!! My daughter in law treated herself and a friend to pedicures today. While they were in their chairs the person asked if they wanted gel. They asked how much it was and was told "just little bit more". When they go to checkout, the title was $160! It was $35 for gel! Are you kidding me?! My daughter in law is so upset! She will think twice about treating herself again because of this experience. I called the place myself and talked to three different people. The third, which was a manager i was told, said the prices have been that for years. That's not the point lady. They were already sitting in the chairs, prepared to pay for the price of the pedicure that they knew the price of. When asked if they wanted the gel they asked for a price and were misled. I was a walk-in customer for stiletto nails and a pedicure and I walked out so happy! Rose did an awesome job with my pedicure (I like my toenails cut super short and I like my heels scrubbed). To top it off, the woman who was my manicurist was incredibly rude, repeatedly, and even got angry when I asked questions (very politely) about the way they so things here. Their procedures are very backwards from any other salon that I've been to in a variety of states. Which doesn't necessarily mean they're wrong, but naturally I might ask a few questions or look confused. This is the first time I have ever not tipped. Ever. In 10+ years of getting my nails done. First time coming to this nail salon because I had a gift card. As soon as I told the front desk lady what I wanted she tried upping the sale by asking me to add a pedicure twice. I waited 15 min. During the time of my classic manicure the man (Kevin) was looking at other customers and talking across the room to his coworkers. He went and put his hands into someone pedicure and came back to continue my manicure without switching gloves. He seemed to not know what he was doing. I asked him how long he has worked as a nail tech and he said a year. But the paint on my cuticles says otherwise. He rushed as he saw other customers walking in. He asked me if I liked my nails and I told him that two needed more paint. He repainted them but got frustrated when the paint didn't go on smoothly. The nail polish is thick. Making them not dry. I waited 10 min for them to dry and my nails still messed up before leaving even though he said I was good. The lady at the front asked if my nails messed up and I said yes. And she said she liked the color though and walked away. Poor customer service and techs are not trained well. Will not be returning. read more

Hurried inattentive service. Was traveling and forgot to bring clippers so decided to stop on impulse for manicure, yeah I'm a guy it's not like I'm getting polish, just the simple basics. They were not busy and seated me right away. Got what seemed to be youngest attendant and she hurried through the entire procedure - the massage part was about 10 seconds each hand. Her phone rang in the middle of it she looked at it but did not answer (ringer should be muted). I swear she took a selfie (of herself) at some point while my hands were soaking. As she hurried through, like she had too much caffeine, she cut the cuticle on my thumb and it started bleeding. She distractingly sprayed some alcohol and septic on it and quickly finished and told me to pay without offering a tissue to hold on it. I lived through it :) but was just dissatisfied with the whole encounter. This was not a Spa experience. read more

Possibly the worst pedicure I've ever had. Less than a two minute massage, no attention to detail, just really not worth the $35 for a basic pedicure. And cleanliness leaves something to be desired. When I walked in the place was very nice and well kept. I was greeted as I walked in and didn't have to wait to be seated. After going to cheaper places all these years I must say I am now in love with this place. First of they cut my dead cuticles and dead skin which most places won't even do without you asking. Then they filed real close to my cuticles so I know these babies won't be lifting and popping off five days later. And plus he took his time with the acrylic so it was really smooth and even around my cuticles. I happy to pay $35 for a full set and will be returning for my refills. read more

My mother-in-law went to this place the week of our wedding for a manicure. This is something she never treats herself to so took some convincing for her to get and enjoy this treatment. She was literally handled so rough her hands BLED!!! She was ignored when she asked them to be more gentle, and when she pointed out that she was bleeding, they rinsed her hands off and continued without so much as an apology. She paid $60 to have her hands scrapped to the point of bleeding, no massage, nothing that she was looking forward to. She is too sweet of a person to speak up and become confrontational in situations like this so I am. These people are terrible. read more

Beware! Like the other reviewers...this is a task oriented salon, not a people oriented salon. It is not one that offers pampering-despite the semi-upscale appearance. Three of us went in for gel manicures as we had a wedding the next day. So here is the good, the bad, and the sad. We were immediately ushered to chairs (good); which were spread out throughout the unbusy salon (bad). The technicians were not very talkative unless you initiated the conversation (sad). There was no offer of water or beverage (bad - [no liquor license so do not expect wine or champagne {sad}]). We were limited on our time and they accommodated within our time allowed (good). We were quickly ushered to the cashier desk and paid (a hefty price for gel manicures!, bad). No one asked if we were pleased OR thanked us (bad). We left to get on to the next appointment for the day before the wedding, feeling a little frazzled and rushed, stating we might be able to return for a regular pedi if time allowed. Of note, while we three were there, a well-dressed female client entered. All seemed to know her by sight, called her by name, and fawned over her. We thought she might be the owner, asked one of the techs, no, just a good customer. Ugh... so what are we?!?!? As we continued on to the next errand of the day, one of us decided the color of the mani was not complimentary (sad) to the dress to be worn. We decided time would allow for us to return for pedicures and have the color "adjusted" (good). Again, rushed to the pedi-chairs. My regular pedi was just that, color removal and color application with an occasional dip in warm water (bad). Before I had a chance to stop the female technician, she had clipped my straight-nailed big toe nail to make it more rounded - without asking or paying attention to the previous pedi I had (double bad). As for the manicure color change: it was accommodated, but the ENTIRE PRICE was paid AGAIN---no consideration of CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, would have happily agreed to half price in this unbusy salon---(TRIPLE BAD). It was very obvious that the technician (same one who applied the first mani color) was NOT happy. Looking at my own gel manicure 7 days later, it appears to be heavily applied on the tips and lighter applied on the base (color: OPI red) - it is noticeable (bad). Completely disappointed - should be 5 dollar signs with 5 sad emojis instead of 5 Star Nails. We pledged not to be so cavalier and naive again - should have read the previous YELP reviews! None of the 3 of us were from Shreveport, we were traveling there for the wedding. The good: they take walk-ins and parking is plentiful. read more
